5 YEARS LATER

As my crew and I walked down the streets of California, my eyes looked around for any signs of Bill's henchmanics and Eye Bats. I knew that we had to meet up with my Grunckle Stan's and Ford's groups, but we had to tread carefully. As we walked, I thought back to the simpler times where I would hang out with friends, look around the mall and spend time with my parents.

But like all good things...they don't last forever. My parents were killed two years ago when a fire broke out in the shack. There was no time for shopping and even if there was..it was too risky seeing how malls became the favorite hangout of some of Bill's more intellectual friends. My friends...well only a handful are still walking around with their sanity intact. The rest are either statues, driven insane or became food for some of the demons that are walking around all over the world. 

My life will never be the same...and we still need to figure out a plan to stop Bill from destroying the world. Ugh...I hate him. I hate him so much that I just want to knock his head off. But that would be idiotic. Bill is always on the move and rumor has it that he took a bride.

I mean...Who in there right mind would marry someone who enjoys spreading pain and misery throughout the world. Before I could ponder more...Wendy pulled me down to the ground and shushed me before she pointed to one of Bill's henchmanics who was looking for something to snack on. After a while, the henchmanics left and we all let out a sigh of relief. He didn't see us..which means that we have more time to survive.

"That was close." Candy said as she touched her chest.

"Yeah...Too close. But we need to keep moving. Hopefully the others managed to find more supplies that we did." I said.

"Given the state of this place...it's very unlikely." Grenda said.

"We can at least hope for the best. Come on..." I said as we walked all the way to meet with the others. Times may be tough, but at least things can't be worse than they already are....
