I just experienced something funny in Pokémon Go

I swear this was a Lairon. Pokémon Go glitched and thought I caught an Aron and the Lairon De-evolved.

It said Aron was caught and I'm like...
What?! Did my Lairon just de-evolve once I caught it? XD

And the game counted it and I don't have one. Well rip.
