Freddy: Yeah. Figure out who's the killer, once you've made a decision, vote for them, if it's right they'll get punished, if it's not then they can leave. Yada yada.

Monopotato: ...Thank you, Freddy, for stealing my quote. ANYWAY. Playgroup Trial 1! Commence!

Danny: Man...     Where do we even start?

Peppa: I guess...      With the bare basics. 

George: Yeah. Delphine was killed in the library, at nighttime. The file proves that.

Kylie: That's understandable...    What now?

Freddy: I say we discuss why Delphine was killed in the night, and what reason she had to go out there.

Danny: Sounds good...    Has anyone got any ideas?

Danny: Does anyone know what Delphine could've been doing in the night?
(Suzy's Alibi)

Freddy: My best guess would be that she wanted to do something with someone...
(Suzy's Alibi)

Gerald: But...    What would prompt her to think that someone wouldn't be in their dorm during nighttime?
(Suzy's Alibi)

Pedro: It depends. Maybe she was just bored?
(Letter)

Emily: If she was...      Then that means she decided to leave her dorm without the intention of seeing anyone...
(Letter)

Peppa: No, that's wrong!

Emily: Huh?

Peppa: Delphine did intend to see someone. 

Edmond: What makes you so sure...?

Peppa: While we were investigating, Freddy found a letter in the dorm hallway. It was indicating a brief meeting in the library about something that the writer of the letter found.

Freddy: Mhm. And, there were a few French words here and there in it. There's no doubt it wouldn't have been for Delphine. 

Edmond: Aha. So she was lured out. Understandable...

George: So...    What now? Do we continue the order of events that occurred after Delphine got the letter?

Candy: I guess.

Richard: ...So, after Delphine got the letter from the culprit, she headed to the library to meet them, where she...      Got murdered? It can't be THAT simple...

Peppa: Yeah...     There has to be something explaining what occurred...

Suzy: She...      Might've been surprise attacked! 

Rebecca: I don't think that's it...

Pedro: Well, how could it have been a surprise? Is there anything that proves it?

Candy: I say we discuss the scenario where Delphine was surprise attacked. Then we can test wether or not it was what happened.

Pedro: Very well then...     Suzy. The floor's yours.

Emily: So...     How could it have been a surprise?
(Injuries)

Suzy: Pretty simple, if you think about it!
(Injuries)

Suzy: When Delphine got to the library, the culprit was hiding from her!
(Injuries)

Suzy: She must've started looking for them, and during that time...
(Injuries)

Suzy: ...The killer striked her!
(Injuries)

Kylie: That explains a lot...
(Injuries)

Kylie: The culprit must've made sure that killing her didn't take a long time!
(Ladder)

Peppa: No, that's wrong!

Peppa: Suzy...     You have a point, but I don't think everything about your theory is true.

Suzy: Huh?

Kylie: What proves that she wasn't attacked by surprise?

Peppa: The ladder that was on the floor. Why would it be on the floor in the first place if she was surprise attacked?

Danny: She's got a point...    Surely there's not that much of a chance that the ladder would've been knocked over just from a quick whack on the head.

Zoë: Maybe Delphine or the culprit hit the ladder by accident?

Peppa: That's also not true. The ladder had a small blood stain on it, not that far from Delphine's leg wound. No bluffing there...      

Gerald: So...     The ladder must've caused that injury...!

Kylie: There's no scenario that I can think of where such a coincidental wound made by the ladder would've come from a surprise attack...

Suzy: ...Good point.

Peppa: Her eyes seem to hold some kind of worry...      I wonder what she's thinking about?

Edmond: ...Suzy? Is...    Something on your mind?

Suzy: Uh...      I'm just...     Thinking about when I was helping you last night...

Edmond: Is there something you realised?

Richard: Or maybe...     Something you're trying to hide?

Suzy: Wh-What? No, no I wouldn't be-

Edmond: Hold on, for what reason would she need to hide something?

Richard: Depends. I'm just suspecting her a bit...         When did you two finish tidying up last night?

Suzy: I think it was around 10 or 11 pm...     The tables took a long time to rearrange, they were a bit too heavy for both of us...

Richard: Then you would've easily had enough time to write the letter, right? Even with French in it. That actually makes it better in your case, since it would burn off more time for you...

Richard: Not to mention, there's also the scalpel from the nurse's office at the scene. That piece of evidence plain screams 'nurse'.

Suzy: ...

Richard: And you also tried to make us believe in a scenario that never happened. Seems like the kind of move that a killer in court would do.

Peppa: ...

Peppa: It can't be Suzy. It can't be.

Peppa: I know it can't be!

Pedro: So...     That's it? Suzy's the killer?

Suzy: I-I...     I-I'm no-

Edmond: She can't be the killer! If she was, wouldn't she have killed me?

Candy: That would've been too obvious. You out of all people didn't realise that?

Zoë: So, Suzy. Why did you kill Delphine?

Suzy: Grk!-

Peppa: It seems like the argument is about to get intense...    Even though Suzy is innocent.

Peppa: They need to see the truth...     I need to make my argument.

Danny: Easy for you to say! Do you have proof of it?

Suzy: U-Uhm...     I have an alibi!
(Suzy's Alibi)

Zoë: Yeah. Sleeping, I'm guessing.
(Suzy's Alibi)

Edmond: Really? We were all sleeping. Anyone could've done it.

Richard: True, but considering the evidence, Suzy is the most suspicious out of all of us.
(Motives)

Richard: She would've had everything to kill Delphine...     The weapon, the bait, time...
(Motives)

Peppa: No, that's wrong!

Peppa: Hey, hey Richard! You're saying that Suzy had everything to kill Delphine?

Richard: Yep. There wasn't a thing missi-

Peppa: Why would she kill in the first place?

Richard: ...Huh?

Peppa: Remember, the motive was that if you killed and got away with it, you could make one phone call before you left the building. Why would Suzy need to make a phone call so badly?!

Rebecca: Maybe...     She missed her family? The family photos would've enhanced that...

Suzy: If it helps at all, the photo that I received was only of me and my mum. I barely have any other freaking family.

Pedro: ...I assume that you aren't a Fast and Furious fan, then.

Zoë: What does that have to do with this.

Peppa: That doesn't matter, what is important is the fact that Suzy is innocent. And the motives show that!

Richard: ...

Freddy: Maybe...     It's too early to tell if Suzy really is the killer...

Gerald: Then what do we discuss next?

Edmond: Let's try talking about the murder weapon. Maybe that can shine some light onto our situation.

Peppa: Phew...     I'm glad Suzy isn't in the main spotlight anymore...

Peppa: Now then, on with the trial.
