I can't remember if the last book ended at CHB or not... if it did, pretend they went back to their camp. If it didn't, now you know they're back with the Hunt at their camp.

(Percy's POV)

After Artemis admited that she loved me, I confessed my true feelings for the goddess. Then, we both started to get closer and closer until our lips were merely inches apart. So close and yet so far when suddenly, a pair of what seems like... flaming fire dragons. 

I've never seen these monsters before. Shaking my head, trying to reassure myself, I pulled out my bow and arrow like the rest of the hunt and started to shoot.

Seeing that the arrows weren't inflicting any damage against these... unknown... monsters, I pulled put my sword and launched myself, stabbing the first one right in the stomach. It growled in pain, and then groaned in confusion. I realized what it was confused about as soon as I felt the warmness of the fire. 

I wasn't getting roasted like a marshmellow for s'mores. I guess I have mom (Hestia, if you don't remember) to thank for that.

Anyways, I stabbed again and again into the beast's stomach. Suddenly, it yelped in surprise and then roared in agony. Then, I was dropping to ground. Huh. I don't remember jumping that high... I guess we flew up a lot.

Then, I opened my eyes, seeing Artemis, Thalia, and the rest of the Hunt as tiny as ants. Then, my eyes forcefully shut close and my brain stopped racing. I passed out... in the middle of my unloving uncle's territory.
