My skin was not a mystery anymore

It caused frustration, anger, confusion all the feelings that promise to help you get back to the you that was simpler in the dark

The vultures have stopped noticing me, but so have the doves that flew to rest in my penetrating mind

I'm showing, and although I'm ready

I do wish I could remain a mystery just a little longer
