But my wall stands yet

Sometimes, you can't help but have walls built around from the rubble of past relationships. Pain. Loss. Broken promises. Often, though you wish they weren't there, You have no control over their construction, and certainly their destruction.

It doesn't mean you don't feel love. It doesn't mean you don't have that connection. You can still be wary yet in love. Defences are there to protect you. Though you might wish them to crumble and allow you to fully experience the extents and extremes of life, don't feel bad if you find it difficult. It doesn't mean they won't go, just as it doesn't mean they will. You are you.
