My heart's not ready to play keep up,
My pulse is slowly growing weaker.

You say you have no will to live
But can't you see that I'm sinking?

You say you want to die,
I want you to say otherwise, act otherwise,
Do otherwise, think otherwise

While whispering the exact same words in the back of my mind.

Why does death have to mark you
My best friend,
My everything?

Why does death seem to wanna take everything away from me?

See, I've got no other reason
I'm stuck between two impossibilities
Me losing you and a cold grim sickle

I'd have never gotten around what to do
Accept you made death look so convincing
With all your bitter words
You slowly killed me.

Your will to live isn't strong, you say
Does that mean that mine is?

You don't want to drag me down, you say
But you've killed me anyway.

And I'd let you kill me a hundred times over again
Without regrets
Because I can't help but think. . .

With you I'll be toasty and stay warm
I won't need the comfort of the sea or sun
Because to me, you're more than enough
You're a solar system on your own.

So what do you say?
Let's die together
You and me
That way I won't ever miss you.

Or be lonely.

You've not been happy for so long,
So if dying makes things better,
I'll happily tag along,
Because where I fail
You succeed.

And when I failed to convince you
You convinced me.
