The pages of my life flips back

As I found a gift from you, lying in my cupboard

Like a panaroma, your face passed through my thoughts

A tear tripped down on my face, as I remembered your smiles

Holding that picture of you in my mind,

I took a flight down the memory lane.

Replaying the things we used to do and say

Those smileys and teases from you that used to make me laugh

Those blushes you used to do whenever we hugged 

All the stories I used to tell you each night, to make you sleep

Those precious moments when we used to compete saying I love you more.

My heart twisted, giving rise to the pain I hid inside

I thought, like you, I, too, could forget and move on...

How dumb I was to think I could fool myself with this lie!

Everything is as fresh inside as if it happened today,

The way we met and the ruthless way you left.

Someone tell me why I still cannot forget you?

Someone tell me how to make you understand?

How? oh how should I show you what I feel for you?

Someone tell me how anyone can change like that?

You were the one I adored from all the purity love can entail

You were the one I wished to be my side , until my last breath

Why did you go? Oh why did you took away yourself from me...?

These memories asks me questions to which I have no answers to tell.
