"They weren't in my class!" I said as I plopped down in front of Jungkook when I had finally found him sitting on one of the lunch benches.
"What do you mean they weren't in your class?" He asked as he bit in to his sandwich, making my stomach growl.
Why didn't I bring lunch? Or money to buy food? Why me?
"You want some?" Jungkook asked as he saw me eyeing his food.
I nodded my head and he laughed, ripping a piece off before giving it to me and I happily ate it.
"What I mean is that they weren't in my class and were instead replaced by two ugly boys that I have no idea what they're names were," I replied after I finished eating.
"Well did you ask them if they knew where your friends are? Did you ask anyone at all?" Jungkook asked.
I shook my head while rolling my eyes, "I'm not going to ask two male strangers if they know where my friends are! When they are the ones sitting in Jia and Kadhi's seats that they had sat in just yesterday! And yes I did ask someone and they said they didn't know who they were."
"Well wonderful! Now what're we going to do?" Jungkook sighed, rubbing his forehead before his eyes widened and they snapped up to look at me. "How about after school you meet my parents, if they say we're best friend and that they know you then we have ideas on how serious this is. Then we can ask those guys tomorrow about your friends and figure this shit out."
"Sure if you want," I shrugged, before my eyes travelled from his face to the rest of his sandwich he had put down in the container when he was talking. "Can I have the rest?"
"Yeah," Jungkook nodded and slid it towards me.
"You're so sweet and kindhearted," I dramatically whispered, tearing up. "I owe you my life now."
"Stop being over dramatic you dweep," Jungkook stood up and flicked my head. "I'm going to go now, I have to talk to one of my teachers about an assignment I never finished."
"Damn, who's the teacher?" I asked, watching as he smoothed out his uniform.
"Mrs. Tenor, I think, I never really pay attention in class enough to remember names," Jungkook replied and shrugged.
I laughed, "You're in the shit then, she isn't gonna let you have extra time. That bitch failed me last year, only because I was one day late. How rude was that?"
"Very rude. Anyway I'll be going, I'll see what the bitch has to say," He said walking away.
"Young man no swearing on school grounds!" I shouted back at him.
He flipped me off and I gasped.
"Asshole."
After school was finished I was waiting at the front of the school gate for Jungkook. I had texted mum that I was hanging out with him because why not, she seemed to know him. Because apparently he's my goddamn fucking bestfriend!
"Why do you look like your constipated?" Jungkook asked, appearing in front of me suddenly.
"I don't look constipated!" I retorted, hurt by his words.
"Yeah, sure. We gonna go?" He asked and I sighed, nodding while wall on along side him.
"I found out who those guys were!" I said, remembering when the teacher had called them up because they were doing some project together.
"Oh, really?" Jungkook said, stopping his fast walking pace that I had to keep up with and stood still.
"Yeah, ones called Jimin and the other, um, I think it was Tae something." I said, trying to remember their names.
"Tae something?" Jungkook rose an eyebrow in questioning.
"Oh shut up, I forgot the rest of his name, no big deal." I shrugged.
"Okay then." Jungkook laughed before we continued walking.
By the time we had made it to his house, I was tired. "Can I go to sleep on the ground?"
"No, you have to meet my parents!" Jungkook shook his head and grabbed my arm, pulling me inside.
"What's the point if they already know me, I need sleep!" I whined.
"We don't know if they know you yet, so be patient and meet them," Jungkook had dragged me into his kitchen where a couple sat drinking tea.
They both looked up in surprise, before grinning widely. The woman, who I suppose was Jungkook's mum, came over to me and brought me into a hug. "Oh Adiah! It's so good to see you, I was wondering when you were gonna come to visit again, it's been over a week and all Jungkook does is go over your house. I've missed you!"
I awkwardly pulled away from the hug before looking at Jungkook who had shrugged and then looked back at his mum. What a great help he is! This is so awkward. What am I'm supposed to say?
"I've missed you too?" I replied, in a questioning tone but his mum never seemed to pick it up.
"Oh, that's great! I'm going to bake some cookies, you two go up to Jungkook's bedroom and I'll bring them up when they're done!" His mum smiled warmly before rushing over to the island bench and telling her husband to grab some ingredients.
"Yes, darling," the man replied before giving me a quick smile. "It's good to see you."
"Come on," Jungkook grabbed my arm once again and dragged me to his room.
"Rude," I said.
"You did this to me this morning, you deserve it," Jungkook replied and I scoffed.
I sat down on his bed as he so 'kindly' threw me into his room, "so they know me. This makes it ten times weirder."
"This is so strange, I was hoping they didn't know you, because then I could blame you for this whole mess and tell you that you're crazy!" Jungkook rudely stated and I glared at him.
"I could punch you right now but I'm refraining because I don't want to be told off by your mum and not get those cookies. I need those cookies!"
"Whatever," Jungkook shrugged before sitting beside me and fiddling with his fingers. "So your name is Adiah?"
"Yeah so what?" I stared at him blankly.
"It's just that I didn't know that was your name until just before. It would of been nice to know it sooner instead of being dragged around by your crazy ass without having any idea of what you name is!" Jungkook sighed heavily as he finished speaking.
"I'm not crazy, I'm spontaneous."
