OK so I do know that this is a picture Book but I'll be putting a recipe here because it's so delicious and you can make it at home.
### Chocolate Brownies Recipe:
#### Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa
powder
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
#### Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
3. Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Do not overcook; the brownies should be soft in the center.
5. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
### Chocolate Mousse Recipe (without heavy cream):
#### Ingredients:
- 6 oz (170g) semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
#### Instructions:
1. Melt the chocolate and milk in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
2. In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks with sugar until pale and thick. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture and vanilla extract.
3. In another bowl, beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture until no white streaks remain.
4. Divide the mousse into serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
