"She just needs time" Calci said as she broke away from Phil's lower arm.
"Sill, I'm quite surprised by her attitude; she has always been reasonably polite when we chat at my book shop" Phil said.
"Fear, my presence, essence in the store; you know, different setting, different circumstances" Calci suggested as she patted Phil's arm.
"I understand, yet still, I would never have bought her along if I had known she was capable of..."
"Phill, its fine" Calci interrupted "She's a catch; sometimes you're lucky and they simply come your way" Calci said as she held Phil's hand "and sometimes, you have to invest time and effort to securing them".
"And sometime, you have to accept that there are more fish in the sea" Phil added.
"Sometimes, but not this time, I could do with some extra estrogens in this old corpse" Calci said matter-of-factly.
"Had enough of men?" Phil asked frankly.
Calci stood and moved in front of Phil. She stood with her hands on her hips before she gently took Phil's both of Phil's hands into her own, She then moved them towards her bust.
"My body definitely has" she claimed as she pushed his hands further into her chest "I've been feeling a little, deficient this past 128" she answered with a huff.
"Depression is known to bring down both mood and energy" Phil offered as he looked towards his hands, or her bust.
He appeared to be in a mild daze.
"Please, I'm far from depressed, that's a human ailment" she answered.
"No, it's been known to affect, other, species" he slurred "Animals, humans, so other, beings..."
"Phil, quiet and relax!" Calci ordered "Let's get you some food and drink" Calci said.
Phil slowly nodded in reply.
Calci nodded in return, looking slightly concerned "I may have overdone it with the old incense earlier" Calci claimed warily "your head's still in the clouds"
"Yes I think so" he agreed sleepily.
"I'm telling you, every sulky exchange with her, totally worth it!" she claimed enthusiastically to Phil, who didn't appear to have taken in her words.
"Worth it for a few reasons" she quietly added "No many sessions left in you".
The pair began to slowly move from Calci's bedroom. Soon they were expertly dodging the key features of the crowded flowerbed.
"By the way, how's Howard?" Calci asked as they walked.
"He's doing great, he's off on a Caribbean cruise soon with his new young wife" Phil answered.
"Who would marry him? When did that happen?" Calci asked puzzled.
"Three weeks ago maybe" Phill answered.
"Well, I'm jealous, those places look lovely on post cards" she said with a slight smile.
"You know, if things weren't so secure, I'd bung you in a suitcase" Phil offered.
"I know you would" she said, but oh well, it's not like I could appreciate the weather and food" she said as she furrowed her brow slightly "Plus the people, other cultures are onto the paranormal like flies on a turd"
"They can be quite superstitious in some parts" Phil agreed.
The two finished their obstacle rich walk, entering into the now black hallway.
"Oh, and how's Wilber?" Calci asked.
"Fine, running rings around that residential" Phil answered "and still running" he giggled.
"Still running, good on him" she said "wasn't it his birthday last week?"
"Yeah, it was, I popped in with a bottle of whisky" Phil answered.
"He's probably bored stiff in that place, but he's lucky he's in a home that allows a 90 odd year olds to go running" Calci chuckled.
"He just turned 103" Phil corrected drearily.
"What!" Calci snapped.
"He just turned..."
"I heard, it's just, well, where's the time gone" she said "I'll have to visit him, it'll be winter soon enough"
The two entered the shop.
They moved from behind the counter where the Channel sat, focused on her mobile phone.
"Channel sweet, will you take £60 from the till and take Phill to lunch?" Calci asked sweetly.
"Yeah, definitely" Channel responded hastily as she almost slammed her phone down. After dragging the till door open and grab a number of notes, Channel moved from the till area and onto the shop floor to stand on the other side of Phil...
"Been downing moonshine?" Channel asked with Phill as she linked his arm and smirk.
"You got it" answered Calci with a growing smirk of her own.
