As the sun is setting, Maxwell Nox carried Mavi out of the cave. With their mating bond complete, the Mare prince intended to take Mavi back to the Mare's territory where he could protect and care for her. Of course, before he took her away from the place where she was born and raised, Maxwell Nox knew the woman needed to say her goodbyes to her brother.

"Mavi!"

Zeki Gutia, as expected, have been frantically searching for his younger sister since he found her missing from her room. For the entire day, he - along with Freda Lilyn and several other warriors, went out to search for the missing woman but could not find a single trace of her anywhere. Now, all of a sudden, seeing the Mare prince appeared with Mavi in his arms caused the concerned Zeki to feel angry instead of relief.

Anyone could see the once ruby dot on Mavi Gutia's face now a pale pink. Everyone could see the fresh mark of the plum blossom on Maxwell Nox's chest. The Mare prince and Mavi was now a mated pair, but no one was happy with the bond. Zeki was on the verge of madness as he saw not only the pink dot but all the red marks all over his beloved little sister's neckline. It was clear that the Mare prince that thoroughly loved the woman in his arms.

Just before Zeki lunged over and attack, Freda Lilyn took quick hold of his forearm.

"Calm yourself Zeki..." Freda Lilyn spoke with concern clearly in her eyes. "Mavi is still in his arms..."

Freda Lilyn blushed when she heard Mavi's words and see the understanding in the small woman's eyes. Remaining quiet, Freda could only leaned her forehead against the arm she could not let go of. Meanwhile, Zeki clearly understood what Mavi was telling him. He was not an ignorant man. Freda Lilyn was his younger sister age, but the girl never gave him such a headache like his sister. Instead, the young woman was always sensible and caring. At first, Zeki simply thought that the younger woman's interest for him was fleeting - a temporary phase of a child. But as the girl grew to become the strong young woman she was, Zeki could see her interest flowed deeper. While Freda was formal and practically cold to everyone, she was soft and meek whenever she spoke to him. To receive one of the most beautiful and strongest female member of the tribe attention, how could he not be effected? However, Zeki had ignored it due to his devotion for his younger sister. Mavi's happiness had been his priority, yet now, his sister is telling him that he's free to obtain his? What could he say to that?

"Big brother..." Mavi's voice held a teasing tone. "You always worry about me, but in reality, this little sister worries about you more. I'll be okay on my own... but big brother, I doubt you'll be okay on your own..."

Zeki frowned slightly unable to refuse Mavi's words.

"Freda... I'm depending on you..." Mavi said softly, making Freda Lilyn blush harder as she nodded quietly. "Thank you..."

There was nothing else to be said. No one spoke or moved to stop Maxwell Nox as he turned with Mavi's securely within his arms. And while Maxwell Nox carried her away, Mavi rested her head against his strong chest. In that moment, Mavi saw a familiar face from the distance. Hodei Solo was looking at her with an empty expression. And because Mavi had been too exhausted, she missed exactly how empty his eyes truly were.
