Three years into the story... In the middle of the crowded night club called Sky, a 21 years old woman stood on the center stage spinning records while the people below danced and cheered with excitement. As enchanting as her music, the young woman stood magnificently wearing sexy short jeans and black tank top. Holding one of the large headphone against her ear, the young woman's body swayed perfectly to the beat of the music while her long pretty fingers skillfully spin the record disk. But what got the crowd captivated was the stunning colored tattoos of white and pink plum blossoms which covered her entire right arm, from her wrist up to her shoulder. Her stunning eyes sparkled playfully as she look out to the crowd.

"Thank you guys for coming out tonight" Mimi flashed her dimples smile to the crowd below. "Be nice to Pete okay?"

The crowd all called out for an encore which Mimi readily complied. After spinning the final mix, Mimi hand off the stage to the next DJ leaving the crowd disappointed. While the new DJ - Pete rolled his eyes, he still high five Mimi before she left the stage laughing. Like always, the crowd parted so that Mimi could make her way to the bar.

"Mimi!" A pretty woman older than Mimi by a few years, waited by the bar with a big smile. "You were great, like always"

"Thanks" Mimi smiled and took the shot glass from the woman's hand.

After she took the shot of vodka, Mimi motioned the bartender for a bottle of water.

"When am I leaving tomorrow?"

Mimi turned back to the pretty woman who was her agent for the last two years. After successfully becoming a popular DJ, Mimi thought to find herself an agent to help her manage her schedule. And with great luck, she found Davina. Although the agent was young and had barely graduated from college, Davina was the only daughter of a famous fashion photographer - so she grew up well verse in the entertainment business. It also helps that Davina is street smart and cunning; therefore, she was capable of getting Mimi's the best deals in all her gigs.

"You have the red eye flight" Davina skimmed through her phone to check Mimi's schedule. "4AM... so that gives you about another hour before you have to go to the airport. I've already packed for you"

"Red eye?" Mimi made a face. "Why so early?"

"Mimi, you're a celebrity now"

Mimi snorted like her agent just said something outrageous.

"Don't underestimate your popularity Mimi" Davina sighed. "You'll be in trouble if you don't take precaution. Being stop by one or two fans is okay, but if dozens and hundreds of people surround you, it'll be dangerous. Especially since you don't like to have bodyguards"

"I'm just a little DJ" Mimi teased her worry-wart agent.

Davina flicked Mimi's forehead.

"Alright little DJ, let's go meet with Kris. She's waiting to talk to you"

Mimi finished the bottle of water before following her agent to the back door.

"Are you sure you have to leave Chicago so soon?"

Soon, Mimi and her agent stood inside a large office. An older woman sat in the leather chair behind a glass desk regard Mimi with a warm smile.

"I can't convince you to stay longer? You know I'll more than willing to pay you. $150,000 tomorrow night"

The owner of Sky, did not hesitate to add $50,000 to what Mimi already made a night. Thanks to her capable agent, there had been times where Mimi did gigs in other clubs where they paid her up to $200,000 a night. Only a few DJs in the world who was paid such absurd amount of money a night. Being the few female DJs - and a gorgeous one at that, Mimi in the last year had shot up in rank and reputation. Her music and style was cool and mesmerizing. Her fan base was growing larger and greater. In the music world, Mimi Ahn's name suddenly appear like magic.

"Sorry Kris" Mimi laughed softly. "I already promise Alice to be home tomorrow"

Since Mimi arrived to Chicago three years ago, she met Kris - the Owner of Sky. At first the woman was reluctant to take the young 18 year old girl under her wing, but Alice being an old friend, had personally requested Kris to help Mimi. Mimi - of course, had to prove herself by working day and night every day for the entire first year before Kris finally taught her the basic DJ techniques. After 6 months of brutal practicing, Kris gave Mimi a chance to DJ in her night club. In the beginning, Mimi only DJ on the slowest nights. But after one month, her music caused many to take notice. When the crowd continue to flock to the night club on days when Mimi performed, Kris quickly realized the young woman's charm. Only three months as an official DJ, Mimi became a sensation. Sky had been a mediocre 3rd rate club in the city until Mimi made it one of the most popular place in town. Three years later, Sky became the number one night club in Chicago and number three in the country. Even young celebrities all over the world would come to the infamous Sky. The place had become so popular that every single night, the club is packed. On the weekends when Mimi performed, lines wrapped around the streets with people hoping to enter.

"You'll come visit often won't you?" Kris sighed while she leaned back against her leather chair.

"Of course" Mimi smiled made her way to the door with her agent.

"Tell Alice I hate her for taking you away"

Mimi laughed and left the office after giving Kris a playful wink.
