After handling the people who hurt Han Muxue in the past, Tsai Xuan took Muxue back to the capital. Since the current Muxue did not have any desire to hang onto the Han Residence, she sold it and release all the servants and maids from their duties. They had wanted to go with her, but Muxue refused to take anyone who was not loyal to her from the start.

"Umm..." Muxue replied softly while moving away from him.

"Muxue" Tsai Xuan immediately stopped her from leaving his arms. "In the morning... we still have time..."

Muxue laid back on his shoulder, pressing her lips on his collarbone.

"Muxue..." Tsai Xuan kissed the top of her head and held her tighter. "You'll wait for me?"

Looking up into the handsome man's face, Muxue traced his perfect eyebrow lightly with her fingers. Tsai Xuan watched her quietly until their eyes met.

"What?" Muxue smiles deepened when she saw his eyes darkening.

"Will you always wait for me?"

Tsai Xuan's question confused Muxue.

"Don't I always wait for you?" Muxue smiled amusedly.

"Your heart..." Tsai Xuan asked in a quiet, soft whisper. "Will it always wait for me?"

Again, Muxue was confused. Why was he insisting on asking the same question over and over? Had she not already answered him?

"Muxue..."

Not knowing how to answer the man's strange question, Muxue kissed him. Sighing against her wet swollen lips, Tsai Xuan rolled and covered her body with his. That night, Tsai Xuan was gentle in every way. Muxue had thought it was because the man felt guilty for leaving the next day. She didn't know the man was gentle because she was precious to him.
