It did not surprised any of the soldiers when Tsai Xuan and Muxue came back looking satisfied and embarrassed. While the Commander had a big grin on his handsome face, Muxue was flushed red. What's more, Tsai Xuan had one arm possessively around Muxue's waist as she sat in front of him on the black horse. His arrogant expression pretty much told all the men that Muxue was his. Wryly, the soldiers watched as their Commander stopped the horse, got down, and then helped Muxue down like a precious treasure.

"Th_ thank you General" Muxue quickly stepped away from Tsai Xuan, while glancing nervously at the soldiers like a guilty kitten. "S_ sorry I've delay the journey..."

Muxue was so red that none of the men could find it in their hearts to tease or confront her on what happened. Seeing the hickeys were barely hidden from her upper neck, the men all turned to their Commander with wry looks. Tsai Xuan smirked at them in returned before taking hold of Muxue's hand.

"D_ Don't touch me"

Muxue smacked Tsai Xuan's hand away causing him to frown. They had just passionate sex moments ago so Tsai Xuan had not expect Muxue to remain so cold to him.

"G_ General An" Muxue looked at him nervously before glancing back at his men. "Please keep proper distant... please..."

Seeing Muxue's uneasy manner, the men believed that the woman was frightened to be involved with another man when she was engaged. Ironically, the man she is involved with is her fiancé.

"Miss Han" One of the soldiers tried to diffuse the awkward situation by changing the subject. "We've been roasting some wild chicken. Would you like some?"

Muxue smile gratefully with a small nod before quickly following the soldier toward the bonfire. Seeing Muxue rushed off without a glance back at him, Tsai Xuan wanted to go after her but was held back by the shoulders by his general. Annoyed, Tsai Xuan could see the concern look at not only the general's face but the soldiers as well. He understood what they were trying to tell him. They wanted to know when he was going to tell Muxue who he really was.

Tsai Xuan was a man who did not know what fear was. He never felt nervous or timid about anything or anyone. But for the first time, he felt all those weak feelings in regards to Han Muxue. Every time he tried to tell her who he was, the words get stuck at his throat. It was especially annoying when his men looked at him with disappointment each time he failed to tell Muxue. When he wanted a moment alone with her to tell her the truth, she would avoid him in fear of what others might say if they see them alone.

"Muxue" Tsai Xuan caught Muxue just as she entered her tent for the night.

"No, please leave" Muxue tried to push him back out the tent.

"Muxue" Tsai Xuan hugged her tightly, whispering. "Why are you avoiding me? Did you not agree to be mine?"

"I_" Muxue pushed at his chest weakly. "I'm sorry, but we must maintain our distance. We can't harm Tsai Xuan's reputation. I'm still his fiancé"

"Muxue, I_"

"An, please" Muxue lifted her head up to looked into Tsai Xuan's face with pleading eyes. "Once we arrive to the capital. I promise to return Tsai Xuan's jade to him. I'm sure an honorable man like your commander will return my family jade"

"Muxue..."

"An..." Muxue smiled softly as she lifted her hand to touch his cheek. "When I have my family jade back, we can be together... I can be truly yours..."

Tsai Xuan held her to his heart, holding her tight as guilt consumed him. He couldn't find the courage to tell Muxue, afraid that her gentle smiles would disappear if he does. He had kept his identity a secret for so long now that it would be difficult to tell Muxue without any repercussion. Tsai Xuan had feared that if he let her know who he really was, she would hate him - worst, leave him. Meanwhile, Muxue buried her knowing smiles within his chest.

But secrets are difficult to keep - particularly ones where more than one person knows. Tsai Xuan and his large group of soldiers had been circling the Capital City for days now, causing unwarranted attention from the Capital City guards and soldiers. By mistake, Tsai Xuan and his men were thought of as enemy spies. Soon, one hundred Capital City's soldiers surrounded Tsai Xuan's campsite to detain them.

"Put your weapons down and surrender immediately!"

Tsai Xuan first instinct was to put Muxue behind him, protecting her from the sudden intruders. Tsai Xuan's soldiers all encircled their Commander and Muxue, shielding them completely. Tsai Xuan's general stepped forward with cold, stern eyes.

"Fools! Do think it's easy to infiltrate the East Border?" The General scowled. "Stand down!"

The Capital City's soldiers were startled until their eyes widened at the distinctive seal on the General's armor - the seal belonging to the Tsai Army's General. The soldiers at the front quickly dropped one knee with respect, confusing the others behind them.

"What's going on?" The Capital City's General strode to the front with his horse.

In comparison to Tsai Xuan's own generals, the Capital City's General was by far, pale in comparison. Overweight, lazy, and egotistical, the big man sat on his horse, looking down at everyone with condescending eyes. Even when he noticed the Tsai Army's seal on other's armor, he smirked as if it meant nothing to him. While the entire three nations had respected and fear Tsai Xuan and his Army, the man dared to look down on Tsai Xuan's general - completely unaware that the demon Commander was nearby.

"Loitering around the Capital City warrant arrest even if you're a general" The overweight man said haughtily. "Arrest them all"

"You dare?"

"Resisting arrest will bring bigger issue to your Commander, general" The Capital General smirked. "And here I thought the Tsai Army is grand and mighty. Instead, acting like a bunch of common thieves"

Tsai Xuan's soldiers' eyes went red - all ready to kill.

"How dare you mock Tsai Xuan's army!" Muxue stepped out from behind Tsai Xuan and immediately went to defend mode. "You big oaf, what proof do you have to say we're loitering around? How are we acting like thieves?"

When Muxue appeared, the big man eyes gleamed with lust. Even if she was dressed in men's clothing with her hair unruly, Han Muxue was still a beauty.

"Oh? What do we have here?" The Capital General jumped down his horse to look at Muxue with a perverse smile. "The thieves even kidnapped a woman. Don't worry little beauty, I will save you"

Before he could touch a hair on Muxue's head, his wrist was grabbed. No one could react when Tsai Xuan kicked the large man on his knee, shattering his kneecap while breaking the bones in his wrist and hand. Only when the overweight man had dropped to the ground, that he let out a painful cry. Tsai Xuan kicked him further away before taking Muxue into his arms.

"Y_ You" The Capital General was both stunned and furious. "You dare to hurt me? I'm the Capital City's General. I am_"

The words stuck at his throat when he lifted his head to see demon eyes looking down at him. While the common people does not know how Tsai Xuan looked like, every Generals and vice-generals of Hexin all knows the man.

"T_ Tsai Xuan"

As soon as his name was spoken, every single soldiers from the Capital City dropped their weapon and went to one knee in salute. Hexin's military powers is divided into three sections, the Capital City, the East Unit and the West Unit. The Capital City's military is often given to the Crown Prince to command, while the East and West Unit were given to two Unit Commanders. Tsai Xuan was one of two Commanders, guarding and defending the East Border.

"You want to save my little beauty?" Tsai Xuan's smile was like a 1000 year old ice sword - cold and dangerous. "I want to see if you have the ability"

"F_ forgive me Commander, I didn't know_"

Tsai Xuan didn't even give the overweight general a chance to grovel. With his eyes, he told his general to silence him. The Capital City guards and soldiers all watched in fear as their General was dispose of like trash.

"Who is second in command?" Tsai Xuan asked casually, as if nothing big happened.

"I_ I am, Commander" A man with the vice-general seal stepped forward and bowed low.

"Congratulation, you're the new General" Tsai Xuan continued without a care.

Normally, only the Crown Prince has the authority to give and change ranks within the Capital City's military. But everyone in Hexin knows the Crown Prince's close friendship with Tsai Xuan - so if Tsai Xuan were to make any suggestion to the Capital City's military, no one would dare to say otherwise.

"T_ Thank you Commander"

"Take your men and go"

Tsai Xuan didn't want to deal with outsider longer since he had bigger issues at hands. The new Capital City general was smart enough to quickly withdraw his soldiers, leaving Tsai Xuan and his men back to their afternoon meal. But no one dared to eat or speak as a dark, scary cloud floats above the so-call "little beauty".
