Ellie groaned as she listened on to the the songs on her playlist which were ringing in her ear, but she didn't pay might to the songs and stared blankly at her work.

One full booklet of a project for her culinary course, about what she will do after she graduates and does something related to culinary, such as opening a cafe, or working in a restaurant or hotel.

Basically the whole booklet was about what her future plans were after she graduated her university. It didn't help her as much since when she was a junior in college, her father had found an opportunity for her in Italy to learn more about cuisine.

And the next year she had went to Canada where her uncle stayed being a head chef in a 5 star restaurant called, La Vien Rose which was an expensive restaurant which served many cuisines.

Ellie wished she could be working there and making some extra money, but she opted for opening her own cafe near Baker Street close to her old home.

She sighed as she picked up her mechanical pencil and started writing, the silence overwhelming her as she started scratching at her paper, the dark granite dust smearing her paper as she tried to swipe it away from her paper.

Looking to her right, she witnessed a very peaceful looking Jess who had her sleeping mask on that had cartoony eyes on it comically. Ellie thought she looked really pretty, someone that could rival Rebecca, but Jess had always slept with her mouth gaped like a fish, and she always snored really louldy.

Jess suddenly snorted, like a pig and bustled under the covers, adjusting her head to her firm pillow and curling her self into a ball like what a kitten would do.

Smiling softly, Ellie stretched and yawned, looking at the electric clock beside her with tired eyes. 4:03 AM it read, and unfortunately, Ellie had yet had another sleepless night doing her assignment that was due a month from now, but the girl wanted to finish it as fast as she could.

Ellie rubbed her eyes before slapping her face, but she soon sank back in her palms, muttering mindlessly while trying to stay awake.

At this point she was going to be an idiot and popped in a caffeine pill in her mouth, gulping it down with water with her water bottle which was placed right in front of her.

The stupid girl stood up from her chair as quietly as possible, not wanting to wake up her friend who was sound asleep at the other side of the room. She quickly wore her shoes, not caring about her appearance right now, which was,

Some black and white plaid slacks with a long sleeved black crew neck with her hair not brushed and messy, and even very frizzy at the ends of her hair from blow drying it the day before, all tied up into one short ponytail that looked like it was about to come loose any second.

Ellie huffed and looked herself in the mirror and twirled around, smiling lightly before frowning and pulled her crew neck down, to cover her butt although there was really nothing to show since she was all covered.

"No one's gonna see me in the morning like this anyway."

Taking a hold of her keys carefully, she opened the door with her left hand, while her other, dominant hand was holding an umbrella by it's handle, her grip slowly loosening as she struggled with the lock.

She heard a click and opened the door, and stepped out from her dorm room, closing and locking back the door quietly, before walking down the hallway to the lift.

Ellie went in and quickly pressed the button to the ground floor, humming to the soft elevator music while she was inside the lift.

Going out, she heard the pitter patter of the rain hitting the concrete floor and the street, as she smelt the scent of dirty rain falling down on the building.

She swung her umbrella around, giving a quick smile to the night shift guard seated at the front, checking the security cameras for any suspicious behavior.

The guard did not notice the figure is front of him but unconsciously smiled back as he saw an outline of a smile in front of him as he checked the cameras, mumbling to himself, looking from the report book and back to his computer, clicking the cameras with his mouse on the computer.

Ellie stepped out of the building, passing by the public toilet tuck discreetly in the campus dorms in the corner, and some other students who were wandering the dorms at night, some she realised were at the smoking bay.

She grimaced at the scent of burnt cigarettes.

Going outside, she smelt a whiff of freshly baked bread from the outside, possibly one of the shops that were around the campus and the dorms.

The dorms were right next to the university, a tall and grey building which rivaled the height of the university, but it was still slightly shorter, since some of the faculty members also lived there.

Ellie pondered for a moment, and stopped swinging her umbrella around to only open it, slightly shaken by the impact of an umbrella opening.

Raising it up to her head, she walked outside and felt her back being slightly hit by the few raindrops that missed the umbrella. She tilted the umbrella back slightly, before taking a small stroll around the area to wake herself up.

Ellie strolled around, her eyes immediately darting to the bakery where it let out the whiff of freshly baked bread that reminded her of home. It was right at the front of the university, on the left.

She smiled and rubbed her tired eyes, and felt the caffeine pill kicking in as she walked her way to the bakery and reached the street where she looked left and right, although there was no cars at this hour.

The aforementioned girl quickly ran across, holding her umbrella steadily and felt her shoes becoming wetter due to the fact that she was running in the rain, and that narrowly dodged a puddle.

Reaching the bakery, she closed her umbrella and shook of the access raindrops on her umbrella, feeling the rain splash in her lightly.

She placed the umbrella in the umbrella holder, and walked into the bakery, opening the door.

Immediately, she smelled the freshly baked bread smell that she smelt from outside the dorms and grinned, looking at the bread that was placed on display.

She grabbed a pair of tongs and a white coloured tray beside her, squeezing the tongs with her hand, making a slight clicking sound as the tip of the tongs as she did so.

Glancing at the wide selection of breads, she remembers the moment where she still works in Mrs. Amaya's bakery with Andrew, her baking the bread with Mrs. Amaya's husband and Andrew working at the cashier with Mrs. Amaya's help.

She giggled and placed a piece of butter bread on her tray, then thinking about Jess back at the dorms and picking out two more butter breads.

She then took a bag of raisin bread which had six in it wrapped in a clear plastic bag neatly. Walking to the cashier, she grinned to her self and spotted a last piece of milk bread and felt her mouth water.

"Damn...I'm getting this."

She reached out for it with her tongs, and saw another pair of tongs reaching out for it, slightly hitting against Ellie's.

She looked to her left to where it was coming from, and looked up. The man had short curly brown hair with an undercut and a pierced ear on his right but had no earring. He wore a grey hoodie and black sweatpants which clung to his body flatteringly. He had glasses on which were thin and golden rimmed, and fitted his face shape.

She felt like she knew him somewhere, someone she remembered, someone that she had a deep connection with years ago and that she forgotten because she didn't want to be forgotten herself.

Then it clicked.

The man that she pursued.

The man that made her happy for a year.

The man that didn't push her away.

She felt her mouth curl up into a smile and she felt her chest swell up.

"Julio?"

Yeah, she was glad she remembered.
