( WELCOME TO CARDEND! )

cardend's history goes back further
than anyone can track. all anyone
is even certain of is that the cardend
family is the decedent of the founders.
of course, proof was necessary for this
belief, but that has long since been
taken care of by the citizens of the
town.

everyone living in cardend has been
there for their entire lives. no one
travels to or from. no one goes away
to college or for business trips.
everything they need is in cardend.
but, as eerie as it seems that no one
has ever left and no one has ever
come to the town, no one has ever
had the desire to. they know the
outside world and the outside
world knows them. they have the
best colleges in the country, the
best companies in the country,
the best food in the country. you
name it and cardend has it. from
beaches to scenary to moutains,
the large town has never been
somewhere that anyone wants
to leave.

of course, this is all until the
town's founding family's siblings
decide that cardend no longer
has enough for them.
