"waverly," atlas hissed into the
phone, "where are you?"

for a moment, his sister didn't
answer. all he could hear on the
other end was her heavy breathing
on the other end.

hours ago, waverly had announced
that she was heading out of the cardend mansion to pick-up last
minute decorations for their
farewell party. atlas had driven
himself to their beach house where
the party would be hosted and
waverly had ensured she'd meet
him there no later than four. it was
eight now and atlas had yet to see,
let alone hear from, his sister.

"i'll be there shortly," waverly said,
her tone promising that her words
would stand true, "i'm less than twenty minutes away."

with that, atlas was letting out a sigh and nodding his head, not seeming
to realise that waverly wouldn't be
able to see the gesture.

"i'm going to expect an explanation
later," atlas said, hanging up the
phone without giving waverly a
chance to reply.

a majority of cardend's youth has been invited to waverly and atlas' farewell party. given that few have recieved explanation as to why they're leaving and none seem to understand how they could leave the ever-perfect cardend, everyone will be there.

― the party will be taking place at the cardend family's beach house

― separate chains are allowed, but there will be a main chain

― separate chains with waverly will have to wait until she arrives on the main chain

― i will be posting a surprise for this chapter soon, so keep a look out for that

there are also rooms for various games, such as pool, arcade games, and even ski ball. pretty much any game or activity room you can imagine is found in the cozy and comfortable beach house.
