What is it with parents and the word no? What is it with family, and adults in general with the word no? and also social ques. Hey mom what part of "please don't touch me" do they not understand. It's not that my mom makes me feel uncomfortable, it's just some times I don't want her to run into my room give me a hug then sit on my bed for 30 minutes. and maybe now that I'm older I care a bit more about my body being touched. I'm never invaded in inappropriate ways, I just don't want a hand on my leg or feet, or a back rub because I don't like the feeling, ESPECIALLY WITH DRY HANDS, God I Hate Dry Hands!  but I've been one of the only family members that tolerates or enjoys hugs and physical touch and It feels weird and wrong to tell my mom I don't want that anymore, especially when I want it sometimes. I just, wanna be hugged when I want to be hugged where I want to be hugged but I feel that's too hard to just say so I start implying. and I don't think she gets it but telling her out right seems rude. welp I just needed to vent, stay safe y'all
