I was at an "insectarium" the other day and they have a Butterfly Room where all these butterflies and moths just fly free! You're not supposed to touch them, but people try to anyway. 😒

However, it's really difficult to refrain from doing so, because they are just sooo friendly! This moth you see in that picture literally just flew onto me and stood there, looking at me!

My shirt was cotton, so you would think it was probably gonna start eating it, but it didn't! It stood there looking at me for a good ten minutes while I walked around, it was amazing!

I had to shake it off though, because a thought occurred to me that a few of the butterflies and moths there were dying in certain places. So then I thought that this is what that moth was doing, like it had chosen me as its final resting place! Which, wasn't right, if anything, it deserved to be in its own habitat to die!

So I found a dirtpile with some plantation nearby and tried scaring it off onto there. But this thing had quite an attachment to my shirt!

Finally it came off in one pull of my shirt- turns out the thing was alive and it just flew away like nothing. 😞

I was so upset, I coulda had a little buddy the entire time. I was hoping it'd come back, but no...

Forever alone....

My sister got lucky though, one butterfly landed directly on the charm of her necklace, so it looked like she was wearing it as a charm! Again, it just stood there until we left. It was such an amazing place.
