"Chimmy do I look okay??" Jungkook said coming out of his dorm room.

"You're in a suit. Nice" Jimin beamed.

"Thought I'd make an effort" Jungkook answered nervously.

"It's fine kook ah, try your best don't let him effect you" Jimin smiled.

"Yeah I don't have much expectations anyway" Jungkook smiled and Jimin nodded.

"I'll get my tie" Jungkook ran inside.

•Knock•Knock•

"Jungkook he's here" Jimin yelled out.

Tae was standing at the door and refused to come in as they would get late.

Jungkook came out in no time and Tae was surprised to see Jungkook all dressed up. He pecked his lips and dragged him by the hand. Jimin giggled and closed the door.

Time Skip

"Tae I'm really nervous" Jungkook rubbed his palms to calm down. He is a very confident person but ever since his parents asked him to go to the dorms, he's lost his self esteem.

"Don't worry baby, it's just a formality"

"No it's not. I want him to like me" Jungkook smiled.

"That's a nice thing to say. Learn something Kin Taehyung" Tae's dad interrupted from behind them.

"Dad I thought you were inside" Tae gasped nervously.

"Lisa wanted to talk" Tae's dad answered casually.

Jungkook remembered Lisa and Tae were neighbors. What if he knows about Lisa and Jungkook's relationship? Damn.

"You must be Jungkook. I'm Kim Taewoon, Taehyung's dad." He stretched his hand to Jungkook.

Jungkook immediately shook his hand, "Nice to meet you, Sir. I'm Jeon Jungkook"

"Likewise"

They went inside and sat in the living room.

Tae's dad looked very strict. He didn't seem like the same man who used to hit Tae for being gay. Tae was surprised by his father's behavior himself. His father was treating Jungkook with respect and Tae was liking it. A little too much but he didn't want to jinx it.

"So Jungkook what does your dad do?"

"He's into business now. It's a startup, we're doing good so far" Jungkook smiled.

"Before that?" Tae's dad inquired.

"Well, he used to work with technology in my grandfather's company. He decided to do something of his own" Jungkook smiled.

"Hmm what's it called" Tae's dad was growing disinterested but he was trying.

"Jeon Enterprises" Jungkook answered.

"What" Taehyung and his dad yelled at once.

It was the biggest company in the country. Much bigger than Kim Taewoon's enterprise. But Jungkook's dad was the youngest of the three brothers and wasn't the heir.

"Well yeah. But my dad is just a shareholder now. He's setting up his own business" Jungkook beamed.

"That's brave" Taehyung's dad smiled the first time that evening. "Even if he wasn't the heir he would still inherit so much. Yet he's ambitious and I like that"

"Yeah grandpa is proud of him too" Jungkook smiled sadly.

Tae understood Jungkook missed his dad and held his hand.

The dinner went peacefully and it was time to leave. "Taehyung come in here for a minute" His dad spoke.

"Goodbye Mr Kim. It was a pleasure meeting you"

"Call me Woon, Jungkook. You're family now"

Jungkook smiled and nodded.

"I'll be back in a minute" Tae told Jungkook and followed his father inside.

"Thanks for today Dad. I appreciate it" Tae spoke first.

"Thank you. For not leaving" his dad said face going soft.

"Dad what are you-" but he was cutoff.

"I know I've been hard on you. Ever since your mom left with her girlfriend. I hated all the homosexuals with my gut and you know that. When I found out you were one I couldn't handle it. It seemed to me that you were her son and not mine. I forgave her when she died but I can't forget what I went through. I'm sorry for being so insensitive. In trying now. I'll be a better father"

Tae was crying. He had only seen this day in his dreams and now it was real. His dad wanted him.

"I'm sorry son" Tae's dad hugged him. "I'm really sorry. I'm proud of you"

"You are?" Tae answered with a shaken voice.

"I always am" his dad patted his back.
