I woke up that morning not feeling so good I stand shakily all the horses look at me "you ok Phoenix?" The triple crown winner named Midnight dragon asked me "ya I am fine" I say. That was when my trainer came in and came up to me "hey girl!" He says patting my neck. I neigh in response he starts to groom me,pick out my hooves and give me bath after he comb my mane and put my tack on today I was number 3 after I was led outside and my jockey got on me and after my trainer left the jockey kicked my side gently and I started to walk around the arena then a trot then a canter then a gallop just to exercise. After that I was put into my shoot still not feeling good the door the starter gate shot open and we ran out with Midnight dragon in the lead and we were going to be second right when were about to turn my gaze went blurry I tripped over my own hooves and fell landing on my side I last thing I heard were gasps from the crowd then blackness took over me. I woke up a little while just to find myself in a dark place in a pen with other horses that looked scared I stood up o didn't have any tack on me I was confused but I saw a horse go through a large door that opened up to show light and once the horse was through the door closed again leaving it dark I had my winners blanket on me and my blue ribbon on a halter I had on sighed in relief and I saw I had a number on me it was number 7 I was confused that was when I was called to the door it opened and I went through it once I was through the door closed and I saw myself in a a giant pen people were looking at the pen "meet Phoenix a real race horse already won one race really good horse!" A voice boomed the bidding starting "this isn't a race this is a auction!" I neigh I was worried I realized I wasn't sold and I was led outside by a man and took into a trailer we're the horses number 5,3 and 2 were I gulped "hey my name is star hoof!" The horse that was number 2 said "hi my name is Phoenix!" I said "my name is Faith heart!" A mare that was number 5 said "Nice to meet you Phoenix" she said "Nice to meet you to!" I say "my name is Oil fury!" A paint said "Nice to meet you Oil fury!" I say that was when a thoroughbred was led into the trailer it was horse number 10 "hi my name is Phoenix" I say to the new horse "hi my name is flame catcher" the thoroughbred said "that's all of them!" A voice said and closed the trailer door and the trailer started to move. I stood trying to stand still while the trailer shook and jumped I was trying to keep my balance it wasn't working good.

Once the trailer stopped the door opened I was led out and taken into a barn and led into a stall were my number was washed off me and my blanket was hanged up in my stall along with my ribbon and then I was oil fury get his number washed off and put into a stall. After flame catcher got his number washed off and he was put into a stall beside me, then faith heart hit her number washed off and she put into a stall beside a horse in the stall across from me,right after star hoof got his number washed off he was put into a stall beside flame catcher I sighed it was night so all the horses laid down in their stalls fell asleep and so did I wondering what was gonna happen tomorrow.
