Phoenix's POV
I was in the stall being groomed by my trainer that was when the jockey that rode me came over "is she ready yet?" The jockey asked "ya just gotta get her tack on and scoop out her hooves and she'll be ready for ya" my trainer said "alright" the jockey said and walked off. My trainer put the blanket on me I was number 9 and my colour was blue and my owner put the saddle on me then the racing mask then the bridle then he led me out of the stall after scooping out my hooves he led me outside where my jockey was my jockey got on me "do a good job out there!" My trainer said "will do" my jockey said. He kicked my side after my trainer walked off and I walked around the giant circle I would be racing on and I walked around it just to get exercised as soon the first race came some people on horses came and led the jockeys on their horses to the starting gate they dropped us off by the starting gate where some people not on horses waited for us they led the horses right into the starting gate it was a small space but I was used to it we waited Well the rest of the horses were loaded into the starting gate we waited for the number one horse to get into his starting gate since he was refusing he was finally in the jockeys got into position on the saddle. Once the giant bell rang like a fire bell the front parts of the starting gate opened and all of us shot out with me in the lead "come on Phoenix!" The jockey on me shouted I fastened my pace as he hit with the whip I neighed in pain we only made it around the first part of the circle. I continued on galloping as fast as I My hooves could go I could tell number 2 was coming up beside me. My jockey hit me with a whip again "Come on vet a move on don't let number 2 when this race!" My jockey shouted so I ran faster. We made it around the other part of the loop we were almost at the finish line with me still in the front and once I crossed the finish line in first place everyone in the crowd was clapping and cheering. My jockey got off my saddle and my trainer cane running and grabbed my rein and started to lead to my assigned stall and gave me water and food since I was hot.

~timeskip to after the championship~
After the championship I found out I won since I was taken to the champion circle an my tack was taken off this was the first championship I had won I was so happy the winners blanket was put on me and a flower reef was put around my neck and my trainer and jockey came up to me "Good job Phoenix!" My trainer said patting my neck. I whinnied happily "someone is happy" the cameraman joked and my trainer was given the trophy and my jockey and trainer were put beside me and the cameraman took a few photos with me,my jockey and my trainer and my owner took me to my assigned stall and he put in it and put the winners ribbon in my stall and he took the blanket off and groomed me,picked out my hooves and fed me and gave me more water and put the blanket back on me "Good night Phoenix see you tomorrow girl" my trainer said and got in his truck and left. I looked around seeing it was Night I saw one of the horses named rock star still up "Good job on winning today Phoenix" rock star said "thanks" I say "no problem" he says and lays down and falls asleep and I also lay down and fall asleep after eating some my hay and drinking some of my water.
