It was a Sunday evening, a few day past her birthday and the sun was slowly setting leaving a pale purple sky. Amanda sat on her window ledge looking out of Dale as the city lit up with fiery lanterns. The bedroom door opened and Kili walked in whistling away too himself. He took off his sword and heavy jacket he would wear and threw it into a seat. Amanda watch him with a smile as he walked over to her wearing a black tunic shirt and brown trousers. His long black hair hanging in waves.

" How was work?" She asked him and he sat down across from her on the ledge.

" The mining is well and I have two weeks off. I was thinking maybe we could go away together, maybe go and visit Bilbo?" Kili asked as he took her hands in his. Amanda smiled to him happily.

" I have not seen our burglar in a very long time. I would love that very much." Amanda said with a smile. Kili chuckled as her happiness and nodded.

" Very well, we leave at dawn." Kili said standing up and walking over to his bed, he jumped onto it and put his hands at the back of his head with a sigh.

" Tired are we?" Amanda asked him and she stood as well.

" extremely." Kili mumbled as Amanda jumped onto the bed and straddled his waist smiling down at him. He removed his hands from behind his head and placed them on her hips.

" Do you still have energy for your wife?" She whispered to him placing a quick kiss onto his lips leaving him wanting more.

" I will always have time for such a beauty." Kili whispered and kissed her again. They deepened to kiss as Amanda's hands ran down his torso and to the bottom of his shirt lifting it off. Kili's hands wondered around her back and legs, gently touching everywhere. His hands found the lace of her dress at the back and untied them. Kili helped to slip of her dress and flipped her over so he was on top of her, so that they could remove it completely. Again she found herself completely exposed and giving her all to the dwarf she loved with all of her heart.

The next morning came quickly as Kili and Amanda stood next to their ponies. Fili, Kilian and Dalila all stood at the doors of Erebor watching them pack the last of their laugage. Amanda was wearing her battle outfit as she felt more comfortable riding long distance in it. Kili wore his blue tunic and a thick leather coat and sash. They both had their weapons as there is still orcs that run through the lands.

" Bye bye mummy!" Her daughter said hugging her. Amanda hugged her back and smiled kissing the top of her head.

" You be on your best behaviour for you Uncle Fili and Kilian okay." Amanda told her as she nodded and ran to her uncle.

" Bye, take care." Kilian said embracing each of his parents. Amanda kissed his cheek and looked to Fili.

" Thank you, for this. I know it is much to ask what with you duties as king." Amanda said as Fili walked up too her.

" Amanda you and Kili have both been through a lot. This is the least I can do! You deserve some time with each other." Fili said and pulled her into a hug. They pulled away and looked to each other.

" Now have fun, stay safe and don't get lost. And say hello to our burglar for me and the others." Fili said with a smile. Amanda nodded as she mounted her pony. Fili said his farewell to his brother and Kili stepped up onto his pony. He looked to his wife and nodded.

" Ready?" Kili asked her.

" As I will ever be." Amanda said and they trotted off towards the city of Dale. They made it to Mirkwood by night fall and they were welcome into the palace for the night. They stay. And left at dawn, they were escorted by elves to the gates of Mirkwood, so they would not become lost... Again.

" We will camp here, tomorrow we pass through the High Pass and head to Rivendell." Kili said as he pulled their ponies to a stop just under Carrock. They set a fire and fell asleep in each other's arms. They awoke at first light and made their way through the high pass and into Rivendell, where Elrond welcomed them for the night. They left that morning and made their way to a very familiar stop where they camped for the night.

" A lot of memories we have passed on this journey. " Kili said as Amanda lay her head on his chest. They stared at the fire and remember the events that brought them together. They looked at the old farmers house that was in front of them. The orange light from the fire lit up thee surrounding area.

" And then the trolls as well." Amanda chuckled as she sighed and closed her eyes.

" Get some sleep, you must be tired." Kili said and kissed her head as she fell asleep.
