" How are you feeling now?" Kilian asked his mother. The past few weeks have past and Amanda has not been left alone at any time. Someone always made sure they were there for her as much as they could.

" Much better." Amanda told her son as they walked through the City of Dale. The streets were bustling like the old days as Amanda stopped at a dress stall. She looked at the dresses, her eyes catch a green dress that remonded her of Fiona.

" How much?" Kilian aksed the stall owner.

" For you, My Lord. 10 coins." She told him, Kilian nodded and handed her 10 coin. He picked up the green dress and handed it to his mother.

" For you." He told her with his father's smile. Kilian was inches taller than her as she looked up to him.

" Kilian, you didn't have too." Amanda said told him smiling. Kilian had missed his mother smiling like this and it made him happy again.

"It your birthday." Kilian smiled as Amanda smiled back as she stood onto her tip toes and kissed his cheek smiling.

" Kilian, remember the game we would play when you where a boy?" Amanda asked him as he put the dress into his bag.

" Tag?" Kilian asked Amanda nodded and hit his shoulder.

" Tag!" She yelled as she picked up her silver coloured dress at the front so she could run quickly away from her son.

" Thats cheating!" Kilian yelled as he ran after his Mother. They ran through the market and over to where they had tied the ponies. Amanda launched herself onto her pony and was off in an instant. Kilian knew no one could beat his mothers horse riding skills, so he had no hope of catching her. But that did not stop him from trying. They raced through the streets and out the city onto the fields that connect Dale to Erebor.

" Race ya!" Amanda yelled to her son. Kilian shook her head as he watched his mother speed off to the doors. Everyone they past bowed to them as the slowed down into a trot.

" How do you ride so well?" Kilian asked as he trotted to her right.

" Natural I guess." Amanda laughed as they pulled to a stop and people took the ponies. Amanda walked over to her son and hugged him from the side as they walked into Erebor.

" Kilian! Amanda!" Fili yelled to them with a large smile in his face. He walked up and embrace them both.

" Did you have fun in Dale?" Fili asked them.

" As much fun as we could before someone turned into the child and began a game of tag in the middle of the market." Kilian asked looking down to his mother.

" Well it certainly sounds like it." Fili said with a smile and looked to Amanda. He the looked to Kilian.

" You father is waiting on you down in the mines." Fili said with a smile. Kilian kissed his mothers head and stepped away towards the mines.

" Be safe now!" Amanda yelled after him. Fili placed a hand on the small of her back leading her through the halls.

" I forgot to say." Fili said stopping to look at you with a smile.

" Happy birthday."

" Come let's eat." Fili said as they walked up to a door. Fili looked to her and smiled as he opened the door, Amanda walked inside and her heart clenched.

" Happy birthday!" Voices yelled as everyone jumped up in there seats, the whole company was there, besides Fiona, Thorin and Bilbo. Gandalf and Elrond were standing next to each other with smiles on their faces. Kilian smiled cheekily with his sister at his leg. Next to them was Kili smiling his beautiful smile that Amanda feel in love with all those years ago.

" Happy birthday mummy." Dalila yelled running and hugging her mother. Amanda smiled with tears brimming her eyes softly. Kilian smiled and hugged her as well.

" You knew all along." Amanda said to her son who smirked loudly. Amanda hit his shoulder and laughed. They walked back to the table and Kili walked over. He smiled and gave her a quick kiss.

" Happy birthday my shining star." He whispered as he walked her over to a chair. She sat down as well as everyone else and enjoyed the birthday feast.

"Glad to see you all well again. Happy birthday." Bofur smiled giving her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. She smiled as she looked at her family before her. Sure she was not in the the world she was born in. But this worlds was hers now and she lived life to the fullest. She then remember about her family back home, how they would have parties and sing on the karaoke. She missed her family and hoped they were well. But this was her family now and it always will be.
