" It has been a week since we arrived here and Amanda's health has improved. She is eating, sleeping and I think you can go and see her now. But Kili, I suggest that Amanda come with me back to Rivendell for a while. Being there may help her heal quicker." Elrond said as he walked with Kili, Fili and Gandalf through the halls of Erebor.

" Can you not help her here?" Kili asked not happy about Amanda leaving him to head to Imladris.

" What she is suffering from is not something that can be healed with medicine." Gandalf said as he walked with his staff.

" It is not an illness, so you needn't worry about that." Elrond reassured the brothers.

" Then what is wrong with her?" Fili asked carefully.

" She is suffering a broken heart, King Fili and broke hearts are hard to heal. They take time and care." Gandalf said as a matter of fact.

" Then do what you can. Please, I cannot loose her." Kili begged the two tall visitors. He knew all too well that one can die from a brokenheart.

" We will do what we can." Elrond ensured him as they walked up to the room Amanda was in. They walked in as Amanda sat in a wooden chair next to a fire, with a blanket wrapped around her shoulders.

" Amanda?" Kili asked as he walked over to her, the only light from the fire and the moon from the window. It hurt him inside to see his wife in such a state.

" Kili?" Amanda muttered softly as she turned her head to look at him. Kili smile happily as she spoke to him for the first time in months. Tears brimmed his eyes as he heard her melodic voice.

" Amanda." Kili smiled happily, Fili placed hands on the visitors gently.

" Let us give them some time together." Fili said softly as the three walked out of Kili's room. Kili placed a hand on Amanda's cheek, the past few days she has been eating and sleeping. She was growing healthier everyday, the sparkle in her eyes was beginning to show again.

" My star is finally gaining its light again." Kili whispered to her happily.

" I am truly sorry for what I have put everyone through. For what I have put you through." Amanda whispered to him, Kili shook his head.

" You have nothing to be sorry for. I believe this is partly my fault as well, for I was in the mines more than I should have been. This meant that you were alone for so long, you told everyone you were fine but you were not and when we received the news about Thorin you snapped." Kili said treading carefully. Kili sighed and looked down to her knees and he place his hands on them.

" I want you to go to Rivendell. Stay with the elves for a while. " Kili said to her. Amanda moved to sit up more in her chair.

" No, no. I will not leave." She whispered to him, Kili shook his head.

" Please, Elrond has offered you shelter for as long as you need. You can go there get better and then return when you are better." Kili told her as Amanda stood up. She had more strength within her as she began to receive her old glow about her.

" No." She whispered shaking her head. Kili chuckled as pulled her hands into his.

" Always so stubborn." Kili laughed gently to her as he slowly leaned forward and placed a kiss on her lips. Amanda immediately kissed back with more urgency. For months they have not shared any words little own show affection to each other. Amanda wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss as Kili pulled her hips towards him, closing any space that was once there. They pulled away from air as they stared into each other's eyes full of love.

" I love you, my shinning star." Kili said as he kissed her again, his tongue explored her mouth leaving nowhere untouched. Amanda's hands move down to the trim if his shirt and become to lift it. They broke the kiss as she pulled the tunic off him to reveal his muscular body. She trance her finger tips of his ab muscles, they twitched and shivered upon her touch as Kili slowly back her towards the bed.

" I love you." Amanda muttered through the kiss as Kili pulled at the strings that held her dress on her small frame. The strings loosened allowing her dress to slip from her leaving her bare to her husband. Kili gently place her onto the bed and moved on top of her, never breaking their kiss of passions and love.

That night they redeclared their love for each other through their actions.
