There she was, laying in their bed. The moon light shone a silver light down onto her as her tear stained face. She lay in her bed with her massively swollen belly. It broke his heart to see her like this. She just was not like herself.

" I am so sorry." Kili cried as he rushed over to his wife. He sat on the bed and looked at her. Her eyes were dull and bags had formed under them.

" You look beautiful." He whispered to her as he caressed her cheek wiping away her fresh tears. Amanda smiled softly and giggled to him.

" You always know how to make me smile." Amanda smiled to him throw her tears. She could barely lifted her head so all she could do was lay against the pillow and turn her head to him.

" Stay with me." Amanda muttered to him as tears rolled from her eyes.

"Stay with me. Do not let me die alone." Amanda muttered to him. Kili opened his mouth to speak and shook his head.

" Please, If I am to die, I want you to be the last face I see." Amanda begged him through fresh sobs. Kili's jaw clenched and he nodded.

" Very well. I will stay with you. Like I promised in our wedding day." Kili muttered and kissed her fore head.

" Kili, can you get me things so I can write some letters." Amanda asked and Kili nodded walking over to his desk where he pulled out some paper and lifted a quill and ink pot. He walked over to her and placed the ink pot on the bedside table and handed her the stack of paper. Amanda lifted her weak hand and picked up the quill before beginning the first letter.

' Dearst brother-in-law,

I write this letter so that I can give you a final goodbye. If you have indeed revived this letter then I am gone from this world.

I leave you in charge of your brother, my widowed husband. Please take care of him as I cannot even imagine how he will be taking my passing.

I hope you find someone who you can hold dear and make your queen. I only wish I was there to see.

She finished her first and moved to her next letter quickly handing it to Kili to fold.

'My brother,

How I have missed you the past 45 years we were apart. When I found you in the village, my life felt complete again. My only one wish was that I could have spent more time with you.

Please take care of my family as I leave them all within your care.

Amanda finished and handed it to Kili to fold again.

'My son,

I am sorry to leave you and your siblings so quicky. I wish I could have been there when you married and had children of you own. But that no longer seems to be. I want you to remember me healthy and happy and remember the times we would play tag down in the market.

Please take care of your siblings in my place. And live your life well. I hope you become a good king which I have no doubt that you will.

She handed it to Kili again and began the next.

' My lovely daughter,

You will receive this letter when you come of age, by that time I will have been gone for a while. My greatest regret is that I do not get to see you on your wedding day, with your beautiful dress in looking as angelic as you do.

When you have your own children you will understand the love I have for you and the pain I have in leaving you. I am sorry you have had to grow up the rest of your childhood without me and If I could I would be by your side.

As I write this letter you are still within me and waiting to arrive within this world. I am truly very sorry that I cannot be there as you grow. I wish I could have been there for your first steps and your first words.

Please forgive your father if he has not been there completely, when you are older and have a wife of your own. Maybe then you will understand his pain of losing me.

Always remember that you are my baby and that I will be watching you from above.

' Fiona,

My dearest friend, if you are reading this letter then you have indeed found a way back to middle earth. But I am sorry that I will not be able to welcome you as I am no longer living.

I fell ill while pregnant with our third child and did not make it through the birth. I wish I could have seen and spoke to you one last time.

Fiona, you were one of the most amazing friends I had ever had and one of the most amazing woman I have ever met. I made a promise to you that I would protect you from anyone and anything. I intent to keep such a promise to you even in death.

I am sorry to have left you in this world and I hope and prey that you will forgive me. You mean the world to me and you always will.

From the moment I laid eyes upon you, my heart was yours and from the moment on. Every second that you were next to me, I felt whole and complete. The first time you kissed me my world stopped and only you mattered. That day was one of my favorite days, along with the births of our children. The other was our wedding day, I remember it like it was yesterday, you looked so handsome with your smile. But the best night of my life, was the night we have our all to each other.

My regret is that we cannot grow old in each other's arms and watched as our grandchildren run around our feet. But you can still experience that and I ask for you to love them with twice as much as love for me. Please do not lock yourself away from the world. Live your life for me with our children. Be there for when our youngest takes their first steps and speaks their first words. Love them for me tell them stories in my place. Sing them songs I would sing. A single tear rolled down her check as she placed the quill back into the pot and folded the paper she took the paper and held them in her arms.

" Give the child and Dalila's their letters when they turn 18. Everyone else when the baby is born and I am no longer here." Amanda smiled through a sob. Kili kissed her head softly and hugged her.

" I love you." Kili whispered to her.

" And I love you." She whispered back to him as the door opened, the elves then walked in and Tauriel looked to them.

"it's time." She said as she nodded to some of the elves. Amanda looked to Kili with fear soaked through her. Kili pulled her close to him and held her tightly.
