The Rohirrim made quick work of the Warg mounted Orcs. The small army made their way over to Amanda and Bofur as they circled them. Their horses a lot bigger than Amanda and Bofur's so they towered over them. Bofur wrapped and arm around the child to protect it while Amanda placed a hand ono her belly. Bofur kept close to Amanda so he could protect her if needed. The horses then stopped and spears pointed towards them.

" What is your busniuss in Rohan?" A man asked moving his horse forward to them.

" We are from Erebor, My name is Bofur and this is the Lady Amanda, wife of Kili Durin." Bofur said to the man.

" I am Theodred, Prince of these lands." He said with a soft smile as he flicked his hand up and the spears retracted quickly.

" Why is a group of Orcs tracking a Princess and her guard?" The Prince asked as he looked down to them.

" We are tracking someone. The Orcs began their chase in a village not to far from here. They slaughtered everyone within the village, leaving only this child behind." Amanda said motioning to the child in Bofur's arms.

" I see, well. You are more than welcome to stay within these lands. Please allow some of my men to escort you to Edoras. You can bed there for a few nights." Theodred smiled to them as he looked to five of his riders.

" I thank you for your kindness, but we really must be heading south." Amanda said to him.

" You must rest. You need to take more care of yourself, considering you are with child. Please, Rest and when you are ready, my men will help you." Theodred ordered them, Amanda sighed knowing she would never be able to win.

" Very well." Amanda nodded to him as he looked to the five men that would escort them.

" Take them to Edoras, inform Eowyn that they are to be given food and rest." The Prince ordered and they nodded.

" These men will escort you to the city. There you will recieve food and a bed." The prince smiled to her and Bofur.

" Thank you, my Lord." Bofur smiled to the young prince as they made their way towards the City of Rohan.

Kili and Fili galloped through the fields, they had gain a lot of ground over the past day and soon a small village had come into view.

" They made have seek refuge in the village up ahead." Fili said as they made their way to the village. Kili's stomach churned as they slowed down when they reached the village. Kili jumped from his horse and looked around.

" Amanda!" Kili yelled out loud as he rushed around looking at the bodies.

" AMANDA!" He yelled, he was quickly followed by the other dwarves until they had checked the whole village.

" Shes not here. Or Bofur." Kili called out as they regrouped in the middle of the village.

" That must be good then, If they are not here. They are still alive." Fili reassured his brother.

" I found tracks leading out the village, But my Lord." One of the dwarven warriors said.

" There was Warg tracks following them. It looked like they were being chased." He informed them. Kili's heart dropped upon hearing such.

" My Lord! Riders approach us!" A voice called out. Every head snapped to the direction of a small army of mounted riders.

" The Rohirrim." Fili whispered as he rushed over to the end of the village. The riders pulled to a stop seeing the company of dwarves standing before them.

" More Dwarves?" A man who was clearly the leader asked them.

" I am Prince Theodred. What is you businuss?" Theodred asked them Dwarves.

" I am King Fili and this is my Brother Prince Kili, of Erebor." Fili called as Theodred dismounte his horse. He bowed to the dwarven king softly.

" We are tracking my wife. She ran off not but four nights ago. Have you seen her?" Kili asked not wasting anytime. The young Prince smiled to him and nodded.

" Yes, two dwarves where being chased not too far from here. One was a pregnant lady and the other a male carrying a child of man, found in this very village." Theodred muttered to him as he looked around at the piles of bodies that littered the village. His hand went to his mouth momentraily.

" Where are they now." Fili asked placing a hand on his brother shoulder.

" I sent them to Edoras with five of my men. We are heading there now ourselves. You are welcome to join us." The Prince informed them as he mounted his horse again.

" Thank you." Fili said as he and his men mounted as well, Fili and Kili rode next to the Prince as they made their way towards the city. It was not too long into their journey when they came across a small piece of ground. Five bodies lay on the grass, dead. Surrounded by Orcs bodies. Theodred dimounted his horse and walked over to them.

" Oh no. These are the men I sent to escort your wife." Theodred called out. Kili looked around, hoping that his eyes would not land on something he did not ever want to see.

" Bofur? BOFUR!" Fili called as he ran to a rock where Bofur sat against. Fili stopped and fell to his knees looking at his old friend. Bofur looked to him with blood trickling down her head.

" Hello Fili." He smiled as he looked to his king.

" I tried to stop her, but you know Amanda." Bofur smiled softly as a pain shot from his leg, they look down and there was an arrow sticking from it.

" What happened?" Theodred asked as he and Kili stopped next to them.

" We were ambushed by a pack of orcs. We fought but there was too many. Amanda managed to get away with the human child. I told her to ride to the next village and seek refuge." Bofur informed them.

" I was shoot soon after, I am sorry. I tried to protect her." Bofur whimpered to Fili. Kili knelt to his other side and placed a hand on his shoulder.

" You did everything i hoped you would. Thank you. But now we must get you seen too." Kili told him as they lifted him to his feet.

" The closest village in about two miles from here. " Theodred informed them as they mounted horses. Bofur was placed on a horse with a soldier of Rohan and a group of ten left towards Edoras. Kili and Fili mounted and looked to the prince. They nodded and were quickly making their way towards the village.

Amanda held the baby to her chest as her groaned in pain. An arrow had hit her left arm as she had escaped the ambush. She just hoped that Bofur was alright, she wanted to stay but Bofur had made sure she would leave with the child. She pulled her horse to a stop just on the outskirts of a village.

" Help!" She called as a man rushed over to her.

" My Lady? Are you alright?" The man asked as Amanda handed the child to him. She dismounted and leaned against the horse for support. She held her arm and looked at the arrow. She grunted as she pulled it out and let it fall to the ground.

" You are wounded. Come with me, My wife will help you." He said as he helped Amanda walk to his house. They walked inside and the man's wife immediatly took care of her arm. Once finished Amanda thanked her softly.

" I am going for a walk." Amanda called as she walked out of the house. Maybe she may find Fiona here.
