" Lord Fili. A letter has arrived for you" a dwarf called bowing to his king and handing him the letter. Fili opened it in a rush and flipped the piece of paper open. His eyes read the letter quickly.

' Brother.

I write this letter with good news this time, Kilian and Bofur arrived safe and well. Amanda has gotten better and is awake now. She is healing well and will soon be able to make the journey back home.

But that is not the good news. The good news is that Amanda is with child once more. Congratulations brother, you are going to be an uncle to a third child now.

We hope that all is well and that we will see you again soon.

A smiled erupted onto his lips as he rushed through the halls.

" Tell everyone! Spread the news! Kili and Amanda are expecting their third child!" Fili yelled happily through the halls.

A week had past and Amanda was up and moving around easily. They were all sitting in the living room smiling and laughing. Elrond looked to Amanda and smiled.

" Well, I believe that you are ready to make the journey home. You can leave whenever you wish." Elrond smiled to her, Amanda smiled as she sat on Kili's lap with her hand on her stomach and Kili's hand upon hers. They looked to each other and smiled happily.

" We have stay for a while here, I think it best we go home tomorrow at dawn." Amanda said softly to Bilbo who was sleeping in his armchair snoring softly to himself.

" A lot of time really has past since the quest. " Amanda whispered thinking back to those days.

" Yeah, indeed it has been." Elrond said as they looked at the hobbit. It broke Amanda's heart to watched one of her closest friends grow old.

" We all sang and laughed together before leaving on the journey here. " Amanda said as she drifted off into her own world. She never realised it but she fell into a quiet sleep, Kili smiled and lifted her up gently.

" She is tired, I will take her to bed and see you all in the morning." Kili said with a smile as he carried his wife to their bedroom. Elrond smiled and turned to Kilian.

" how have you been Kilian. Well I hope?" He asked him, Kilian nodded with a gentle smile.

" I am well, in fact I am amazing. I cannot believe I am going to have another sibling." He smiled, Elrond nodded to him and smiled.

" The bringing of a new life into the world is a wonderful thing. I m happy for you, Kilian. Come, you should get some rest. You have a long journey tomorrow." Elrond muttered to him after saying good night they headed to bed.

" Thank you for everything Bilbo. I hope we can see each other again some time in the future." Amanda said hugging his old frame.

" Write to me okay." She said to him.

" Yes, yes. I will." Bilbo said.

" Good bye Frodo, keep an eyes on him now. You know how he is." Amanda chuckled hugging the young hobbit who nodded, everyone said their goodbyes and mounted their ponies, Elrond upon his horse with Amanda. They had one less pony so Elrond said it would best for Amanda to ride with him.

" Good bye! Be safe!" Bilbo called as they made their way out of the shire. Amanda waved back as the walked down the hill and out towards Bree. Once past Bree they moved into a gentle canter.

" We will stop in Rivendell were you can spend the night. From there I will have a few of my guards to escort you back to the mountain." Elrond explained as they were riding their horses at a walking pace through a field of brightly coloured flowers. Amanda leaned back against Elrond who was very comfy and smiled.

" It seems we are one down already." Elrond smirked to the dwarves as they looked to him confused. Bofur was the first to understand and he laughed loudly.

" Ah the joys of being pregnant! And for a third time! I think she is doing it for the attention." He laughed loudly to Kili, who laughed at the same time.

" Well! I wish I could get away with everything she does! I mean, she eats more than Bombur and never gains anything! " Kili laughed happily as they all joined in with the jokes as Elrond held an arm around a sleeping Amanda so that she would not fall from his horse. They soon made it to Rivendell and Amanda was still sleeping soundly.

" I think it may be a good idea to let Amanda ride with one of my elven guards while heading to Erebor." Elrond said to Kili who was next to his horse.

" I believe this pregnancy may be the worst one yet." Elrond told him as he smiled with a chuckle.

" What do you mean?" Kili asked him.

" Well, I have seen this kind of pregnancy before." Elrond said with a I-know-what-you-are-in-for look.

" She will most likely sleep and eat. And when she is not doing that... Well, you might not want to be in the same room as her." He said to him with a semi frightened look.

"Maybe the mountain..." Elrond then said scaring him further and if even possible his next line sent him pale.

" Maybe you should think about moving to Rivendell for a while." Elrond smirked to him as Kili turned white facing forward. Elrond just laughed at his reaction as Rivendell came into their view.
