Kili sat by Amanda as Lord Elrond examined her, she still had not awoke since they arrived back here which was four days past.

" Her condition is the same and is neither improved nor has it grown worse." Elrond said to Kili who has been by her side since they got back. Elrond sat down on the bed and looked to Kili.

" I think I know why the illness had proven to be worse than normal and taking a while to heal." Elrond said to Kili.

" What?" Kili asked as he felt his heart stop. He was scared at what Elrond would say.

" Kili, she...." He began but a knocked at the front door caught them off guard.

" Hello? Who are you?" Bilbo asked.

" Bilbo!" A familiar voice called out happily.

" Bofur! By jolly! It is good too see you!" Kili stood up and rushed out of the room and through the halls. Kili stopped at what he saw, there standing was Bofur and his son.

" Kilian! What are you doing here?" Kili asked stepping forward, if his current circumstances did not lead to him being so drain, he would have scolded his son.

" I got the letter, is mother alright?" Kilian asked stepping up to him.

" She is ill and has not awaken." Elrond said to him. While Bofur and Bilbo talked in the background.

" Can I see her?" He asked Elrond who nodded in return.

" Yes you can keep an eye on her while I have a word with your father." Elrond said to him as he guided Kili outside, they walked along the roads through the village taking in the sun, it was about four in the afternoon and the market was bustling.

" Kili I know why Amanda is in this way." Elrond said to him.

" What is it?" Kili asked as he walked beside the tall elf with his hands behind his back. He stood straight and walked like royalty.

" Kili, she is with child." Elrond said to him. Kili stopped and looked at him as a smile grew on his lips.

" Are you sure?" Kili asked him.

" Yes, congratulations Prince Kili. You are going to be a father again." Elrond smiled to him and Kili laughed happily to himself.

" I-I-I have too tell Kilian." Kili said happily as he turned and ran off to the house. Elrond chuckled and walked back to Bilbo's house. Kili burst through the door with excitement.

" Kili? What's the matter with you?" Bofur said looking at his happy energetic buzz.

" Where is Kilian?" He said quickly.

" In the dining room why? What's wrong?" Bofur asked him.

" Nothing is wrong! Everything is right!" Kili smiled as rushed to the dining room followed by Bofur. Kilian saw his dad and stood up looking at him. Kili walked right up to him and embraced him in a tight hug.

" Father? What is going on?" Kilian asked confused. Kili pulled back and kept his hands on his shoulders.

" I have the best news ever." Kili smiled to him and placed a hand on his cheek.

" Your going to be a brother again." He said and Kilians face lit up.

" You mean?" Kilian asked with a massive smile. Kili nodded.

" Yeah, your mother is with child." Kili said hugging him again.

" That's wonderful new! Congratulations!" Bofur called rushing in and embracing Kili and Kilian in a hug. They all laughed happily as they celebrate the news.

" Kili, Kilian." Elrond said softly walking around the corner with a smile.

" Lord Elrond?" Kili asked him with a smile. The mood seemed to have picked up dramatically in the house from the news. Bilbo and Frodo where out at the moment as they celebrated.

" Amanda, she awake." Elrond said with a smile.

" Did you tell her?" Kili asked Elrond who just shook his head.

" No, that is for you to do." He said with a smile as they walked past him and into Amanda's room they saw her sitting up in the bed with a large smile on her face. Kili rushed over and embraced her in a tight hug.

" Don't you ever do that again okay, you really scared me." Kili whispered giving her a gently kiss on the forehead.

" Mother!" Kilian said with a smile to her hugging her quickly.

" Kilian? What are you doing here?" Amanda asked her son.

" I heard you were ill and I came here as soon as I could. Bofur as well." Kilian said nodding his head to the door where Bofur was leaning against the frame.

" Hello!" He called and Amanda smiled to him.

" Amanda we have great news." Kili said taking her hand into his.

" What?" Amanda asked looking between him and her son. Kili placed a hand on her stomach and smiled.

" You are with child." Kili muttered to her. Amanda's eyes went wide and looked down to her hand. After a few moments she placed a hand onto his and smiled. She looked up to him with glistening eyes.

" I'm pregnant..." She whispered happily.
