Your POV

I walked onto school grounds and saw my brother's car already parked in front. Walking up the stairs I sighed, maybe I really should've taken a ride with him... my legs are killing me!

As I was thinking I bumped into the low wall of the fountain that was in front of the school doors. Rubbing the spot where I was hit I sat down on top of the small wall, waiting for the doors to open. They opened moments later and I sighed once again. Picking up my stuff that I had set to my side, I quickly stood up and started making my way inside the school.

But then and there is when the jinx caught up. Right when I walked into school, I bumped into a tan girl, with black hair and dark brown cunning eyes. A guy, most likely her boyfriend, had his arm draped across her shoulders, he had raven black hair and baby blue eyes, along with a strange mask covering his mouth and nose. The girl glared at me like I was the most disgusting nuisance in the world, and already having been put into a sour mood this morning from my... father, let's just say I wasn't in the most friendliest mood at the moment.

"Ugh, watch where you're going nerd." She scoffed, continuing to glare down at me.

Huffing, I took out one of my earphones and raised an eyebrow at her. "Care to repeat that deary?"

"I SAID, watch where you're going NERD." She emphasized on certain words, her mindless "friends" laughing behind her and complimenting her on "her great burn."

"Great burn babe." The guy with his arm draped around her chuckled, bringing her in closer.

I simply left my eyebrow raised and looked between the stereotypical cool kid group, well that's my assumption anyways.

The girl turned to look at me and gave me a questioning, yet still diva in all ways, look. "What, you deaf or something?"

"I can see you're lips moving but I hear no words." I said, keeping my collective figure up. Shrugging I then continued. "Sorry, I should have mentioned I'm physically impaired from hearing a bitc- I mean... diva's voice. Probably why I can't hear you."

"Excuse me, who gave you the right to treat me that way nerd?!" She scoffed, steam basically coming out of her ears.

"Excuse me, who died and gave you the title as drama queen cause clearly they chose correctly." I retorted.

In a flash, I was pushed up against the wall my stuff spilling out across the floor. My phone dropped, the other headphone being ripped out of my ear.

Man, I hate when that happens... I mentally sighed, slowly lifting my head up to look at the person pushing me against the wall of what I assume to be lockers, I really wasn't paying attention to my surroundings.

"No one. And I mean no one talks to my girl like that." He growled, tightening his grip on the collar of my shirt. "But, I'm guessing you're new here seeing as anyone here wouldn't have the right mind to mess with us."

I rolled my eyes at his statement, then received a glare as a response. "I'm guessing you saw that?" I asked, looking up at him slightly.

Instead of a verbal answer however I got a physical one... right in the face, it was painful.

My head slammed back into the lockers I was pressed against, my vision doubled for a couple seconds though it wasn't so obscured for me to miss the fist heading right at my face. Blow after blow it repeated, I let the pain, something I was used to, consume me.

Everything started to become numb, my ears began ringing, black dots began to appear in my line of sight, and just when I thought I would pass out, a voice or was it two? I really couldn't tell at the point, the ringing was too loud to tell. Suddenly the guy and his attacks stopped and I fell into a pair of arms.

"He...y can..... hear me?" The person's sentence was broken and their voice was distant. I felt a light tapping against my cheek as I slowly slid down, the person holding me up was making sure to let me down gently.

"Don't... nurse is coming." The person said. Slowly I looked up to be met with pale blue eyes, the orbs being filled with worry and concern. "Stay... me"

I looked at the person in confusion, trying to stay awake. The guy's punches were brutal and unforgiving. I couldn't even guess the amount of bruises I was going to see later on. Finally, not having enough energy to keep my eyes open I let them shut, despite the protests of the person holding me up.

Third Person POV

"Zvahl, take the girl to my office now." The nurse, Zoey, ordered. Glaring at the raven who had beat her into unconsciousness. "And Ro'meave take your younger brother to the principle's office."

The two nodded and lead, well for Zvahl more like carried, the two people in their arms to the offices, separating when the hall split into two different directions.

Zoey sighed and rubbed her temples in frustration. "Of all times Chad had to have another 'great invention idea' it's when a new year starts and a transfer sophomore gets hurt."

"Well don't just stand there and watch, get your schedules, hang out, whatever. But when the bell rings you ALL better be in the correct classes." Zoey said to passing by students though it was mainly directed at raven boy's group, she fixed her outfit and stomped off to the nurse's office to deal with the one injured first. Hoping, that the two Ro'meaves wouldn't destroy the principle's office too badly when she got back, she didn't need another incident like last year on her hands.

So I decided to make my posting days Wednesdays. I may post twice a week I don't know. I'd like to finish this rewrite before continuing my other books but I won't only just be posting on this one. As you can see it's a bit different already from the first one, I split the first chapter into two parts I really don't know why. Though, I will probably try updating the sequel once and a while. I'm gonna have a minimum of 1,000 words for each chapter. And again, remember that when I originally made this book it was when the MCD series was on her main channel and not on the fantasy one, meaning that she hadn't made her PDH series so if things aren't the same or certain character aren't here its because I'm using my own plot to the story and when I made this book it was before these characters were introduced. So please don't ask about where is this person or that person if they were newly introduced to her series, I may or may not add them in the second book but they most likely won't play that big or significant of a roll, not because I hate them or anything but because I would like to focus on the main group. Anyways, enough of my long rant, I'll see you Boltlings (that's the new name cause I'm not really feeling terminators anymore sorry if you like that one better) in the next chapter!
