~Lucy's Pov Still~ 

Irene was looking at me worried standing in front of me. Blocking my view of Levy and Gajeel. "Lucy?" she asked worried snapping out of my shock as I was taking some deep breaths. "Irene I-sorry I just zoned out because of my thoughts" I lied as she put a finger under my chin lifting my head up slightly looking into my eyes. "I am also here to take you to the castle, the ball is tonight after all" Irene moved her finger walking ahead as I was in some shock following her. "That is a lot faster than normal" I spoke as she laughed.

"Lord Zeref wants protection on you and your people right away you won't just be Queen of Demons but of humans" Irene spoke and pretty loudly getting many people to whisper. "Yes but this is a sudden drop I need to leave people in charge, I have to make sure if they are safe if I do leave" I spoke stopping and standing my ground as I my voice was a tad harsh as Irene stopped and turned her head looking at me with a serious face. Everyone was watching in fear from the aura Irene had on her. 

"I may become a Queen, I may have the deal to keep but these people come first, Lord Zeref has to accept that" I soon spoke loudly as people were whispering that I had a death wish. Irene was known for her power, death list and the fact she was a harsh person who loved to make others feel great pain. "Lucy Heartfilla are you saying no to my King's demands?" Irene asked raising an eyebrow toward me as I saw by her face I wasn't in trouble by this. She was testing me. She was testing if I would be a good ruler. 

"If it is to protect the people yes" I answered with a serious face and tone as Irene smirked turning around fully to face me. "You passed the first test but there will be more, you must have this attitude at the ball is that understood?" Irene asked as I smiled toward her. "I always have this attitude Irene" I spoke winking toward her as she laughed. "This is another reason why I took you in as my daughter" Irene spoke putting her hand on my head. "Never change who you are Lucy Heartfilla, you have an hour to get ready and then I shall return to pick you up. You may bring four other people" Irene spoke before walking off.

"Thank you Irene" I spoke loudly waving her off as she left the temple and town. Many were in shock she didn't punish me for my answer. "L-Priestess Lucy are you trying to get yourself killed by Irene?" Levy asked loudly marching over as I laughed smirking toward her. "You are just jealous she doesn't punish me like she does with you" I sang as Levy looked at me annoyed mumbling how I was right as I closed my eyes smiling. "Levy you are to pick three other people to come with us to the ball, you have an hour to get ready" I spoke walking off to the temple.

"Wait Lucy I got to tell you something important first" Levy spoke as I turned my head opening my eyes. "Pick and then come tell me, I have to get ready myself" I spoke loudly for her to hear as I got into the temple heading to my room as once the door was close I leaned back sweating slightly. Was that really Gajeel Redfox or a Reborn? There had been so many Reborn over the last 500 years. Was this really the same Gajeel? I shook my head knowing I had to get ready. I had to put the future first not hope about the past.

That half an hour I was wearing a long red dress and put my hair like I did when I first joined Fairy Tail but instead of a blue ribbon it was red keeping the side of my head in a pony tail. I had heels on as I was taking a deep breath as I heard Levy's knock at the door. I let her inside as she was wearing a long orange dress with her hair up in a bun. "The ones I picked are getting changed Lucy" she informed me closing the door as I nodded looking at the mirror taking another deep breath. "Zeref will speed up the wedding like he did with this ball" I spoke.

I saw Levy have guilt through the mirror as she herself took a deep breath. "Lucy those reborns ain't reborns they are the real Fairy Tail" Levy spoke fast as I froze up the sweat slowly returning as my mouth was open slightly as I was frozen to hear. "Gajeel, Natsu, Mira, Gray, Erza, Happy, Wendy, Laxus, Carla, Lily.....they are all alive" she spoke smiling with pure happiness on her face. I turned around still in my shock. "How?" I asked as Levy walked over grabbing my hands lifting them up slightly, moving them onto my chest.

I felt my own heart beat as Levy's hands must of done the same. "You did it, you didn't really kill them you only destroyed the bodies but you kept the souls safe and when Jason attacked long ago he triggered a past reaction, it must of brought them back slowly" Levy answered as I was standing there in shock my eyes watering. "T-their alive" I whispered as Levy let go of my hands hugging me. I hugged her back holding back tears as I wondered.......would they forgive me? Was this real? Could they handle the new life they was brought into?
