A Not so Strong Bandage
I AM SO SO SO SORRY! I was preparing for a long upcoming vacation and I had no time to write and update my story. But anyways, I hope you enjoy!

I awoke in the same bed as before, but something was different. I felt watched, more than usual, and I wasn’t having it. I quickly got out of bed and rushed to the main area to meet with Danielle, who, like always, was sitting there enjoying the scenery. I felt more at ease with her here, I consider her as a sister and I don’t think I’m prepared to see her die. “Do you know when Coconut is?” Danielle looked over at me, “Coconut? You mean Calico?” “No? His name is Coconut.” She deadpanned at me and then walked off. What a bitch. Outside, I see Coconut carrying- bags?
“What’s that?” “Clothes for town visit.” We’re going to the town today? I don’t even know where I am so I may be unfamiliar with the town. “Dan?” “Walked off, I think she might be in the fourth room on the left- or right, I don’t know.” “Thanks,” and then he walked off too. I was really bored so I decided to try on the clothes he brought from the town- how he got it? Don’t know. The sweatshirt looked very similar to what I was wearing for the past 3 weeks and the shorts were very pretty too.
I was about to walk out of my room, until a certain furry walked into my room. “Duck.” “What?” He pointed towards me, “Duck- blue duck.” Welp, guess I’m a duck now- wait blue? “Blue? I’m yellow.” He shook his head, “Blue, blue duck.” Does he see in high contrast or something? Whatever, doesn’t bother me anyway. “Yeah sure, sorry.” He seemed satisfied with my answer while proceeding to drag me outside. Danielle was waiting for us, sitting on a bench wearing goth-like clothing. It honestly looked pretty good on her. “Alright, let’s go!” Danielle said running down the mountain the church was on. “Wait!” Coconut quickly grabbed onto my arm and threw me on his back, giving chase to Danielle. He was surprisingly fluffy, I feel like I could fall asleep on him. I look back at the church one more time, just to see no such thing. The church was gone, completely... Freaky.
After running for at least 15 minutes, we made it to the entrance of the town which looked like a whole festival. Everyone was out in the streets buying food or other things that will probably never benefit them in the future, pretty cool I guess. “Hey, how are you supposed to disguise yourself inside of the crowd, Calico?” Calico? Whatever, Danielle seemed to say what we were all thinking, he was a whole fucking 7 foot, hairy basketball player in the middle of a somewhat large town. “Follow.”
Coconut led us to a tree that looked somewhat run down and dead, which wasn’t a surprise considering there was a fire around here about a year ago, according to Coconut of course. He looked behind the tree, in which lay a small leather bag. “What’s in the bag? Money? You robbin’ people, Coconut?” I looked at Coconut who seemed to be avoiding eye contact with me. “Coconut?” He put on a brown trench coat with gold spots and golden items that lay in its pockets. He also slid on brown, worn down gloves that went with it. He honestly looked like a rich homeless person.
We walked to the entrance of the town quickly getting questionable stares from some of the locals, but lest that what we would have received if Coconut didn’t have a disguise. We walked through the town stopping at some places to get food or medical supplies for “Mr. Doctor” over there. Apparently, Coconut comes to the town a lot and is pretty popular with the people who live here, especially with the kids (Stop thinking 🙂🖕), he comes every month with treats and homemade for the kids IF they were good for that month. Usually all of the kids get prizes, except for one who is never good according to his mother. Ironically, I ran into the same kid while looking at a small Pop-up retail that was selling peanut brittle.
I never wanted to punt a kid so much.
“Oh!- Watch out kid, you could hurt yourself-” “Watch it, fatass.” Who? Me? Bitch I’m skinny. “Woah, your ass bumped into me, and I may be a fatass but at least I don’t look like my parents don’t feed me on the regular.” “My mom doesn’t feed me and I still look more fit than you.” Oh hell no. “I know you ain’t talking with your- wait, you said your mom doesn’t feed you?” “Yeah, what about it? And what the hell does ‘ain’t’ mean?” He said it so nonchalantly, I almost felt bad. “Oh- why don’t you try to get a job and pay for your own food? I saw plenty of kids younger than you working their asses off.” “No one wants me, I’ll just be bad for their business anyway.” Oh… sigh “Fineeeee, come with meeeee. I’ll buy you some shit.-” “NO- I mean, I don’t need your pity money.” “Too late.” “Wha- HEY!”
I pulled the kid with me as I looked for a good food truck, I needed to meet back with everyone right outside of the city right before it got dark so I needed to hurry up. After about three minutes of looking for a good food truck and three good minutes of screaming coming from the kid I kidnapped, I ordered a dozen macarons, half being Apricot and the other half being Lavender. I found a good alleyway and found a good place to sit down at, letting go of the kid, I forcefully sat him down and gave him a Lavender macaron. “Eat.” “No, I’m not eating this.” “Bitch please, you’re probably starved so eat or I’m leaving.” He seemed pretty affected by this and began nibbling on the macaron I gave him, then began eating it, and then started to eat the other ones- a little too fast. “Damn, slow down. You’re gonna choke, kid.” “My names not ‘kid’, it’s Damien,” he said with his mouth full, causing some of the food in his mouth to fly on my face. “Dammit, Damien!” “Not sorry.”
This bitc- “Hazel?” Wait, no. “Amari?” It was Amari and Phillip’s dog, Markus, it wasn’t Amar-one though, it was Amari Davis, he looked awful and scared. And the dog, he looked torn up, he didn’t even run to me when he saw me. He looked so- dead. “Amari, what happened? Are you alright-” “Is she here? Does she know?” Who? What? “Who are you talking about? Are you talking about this kid? He may look like a bitch but he’s sure as hell a guy.” “Hey! What the hell?!” Damien got up and hit the back of my head- pretty hard. “OW! What the-” “DON’T HIT HER! SHE’LL KILL YOU!” That was unnecessary. Damien felt a bit scared by the random outburst and began backing away from me. “I don’t think he’s talking about me, kid.” “No, I’m talking about Mother.” Mother? Does he mean- “Do you mean that ‘thing’ that killed all those people?” “That ‘THING’ is your mother, according to her, it promised me that if I led her to you, it wouldn’t kill us. I can’t die Hazel.” On cue, the monster came out of the shadows of the alleyway and stared down at me, showing no change in emotion. It was back. Why? What did I do? “Hazel… W-What the fuck is that?”
“Thank you selfish child, for keeping your promise, however; you hurt my beloved child, and I cannot forgive you for that.” “WHAT?! But I never laid a hand on her!” “You hurt her mentally, you betrayed her, you FOUL creature.” “BUT I-” Before he could finish his sentence, the monster's hand went straight through his stomach while she kicked the large dog towards us. I collapsed as the weight of the dog knocked over both me and Damien to the cold, concrete ground below us. I looked up one last time to see Amari barely breathing, bleeding out on the floor.
“Windermere St… fifth pothole farthest from… the fork… End this… please.” He stopped moving, he stopped everything. He was dead.
“Ten down, about to be eleven, a lot more to go-”
WHAM
Coconut comes out of nowhere and kicks her in the face, sending her flying back in the building beside them, sending rubble to fly and plummet to the ground. Coconut swiftly grabbed me, Danielle on his back as he tried to flee from the situation that already caught the attention of so many other people nearby. “Wait! Damien and Markus! Don’t leave them!” The already uncloaked Coconut looked back at the rubble to see a whining dog and an eight-year-old boy with his leg trapped underneath some large bricks that fell from the top of the building, unable to escape the large woman that was reaching out for the poor boy. He froze. If he didn’t leave now, Mother may heal and catch up with five, revealing his sanctuary, but if he doesn’t get the boy, he would put a block in the friendship he worked so hard for.
He decided.
He quickly grabbed the boy and the dog, holding both tight as he leaped- quite high, but he didn’t head towards the church, he headed for the forest on the other side of the town, ways away from his long resting place.
Coconut put us down underneath a tree near a river so he could heal the two wounds, which the boy passed out on the way there due to blood loss. I could tell Coconut was mad at me though, he refused to look at me and when he did, he huffed like a child and walked away. I didn’t have the energy to talk about it, nor did I have the energy to do anything. I couldn’t move my legs or the muscles in my arms and I couldn’t stop hearing things. I was a mess, a tired mess. I shifted my position in the grass and fell asleep almost immediately. I hated myself so much. I hate everything about me, but I can’t do anything about it because I’m just a weak little kid.
I’m so sorry, everyone.
