CYNOPHOBIA >>The fear of dogs.
————————————————
Seungmins POV:
''What do you want Hyunjin?'' I followed him outside of the restaurant leaning on the outside wall waiting for him to talk.
''I just needed to clear something up.'' He was staring at the floor, normally it would be me.
''Clear what up?'' I frowned, what was he going to tell me? That he hated me and those weeks we spent with each other was just some act?
''Those weeks we spent together, everything you told me, everything I told you...'' I just wanted him to say it, if he was going to hurt me with his words I just wanted him to say it loud and clear.
''What about it?'' I knew I was being cold, but he deserved it, he was cold to me to.
''The feelings I felt with you, you felt them to right? Please tell me I haven't been wrong this whole time.'' I knew exactly what feelings he meant..... but he ruined them, he stole them from me and tore them to pieces before pouring my shattered heart over it, he threw it into the fire place and watched it burn, yet he still hoped those feelings were strong enough to survive the torture and scars it suffered because of him. I'm ashamed to say that they survived but now they're buried under the rubble and mess of yesterday's hurt and I have no wish or energy to dig them back up again.
''I felt them to.'' I crossed my arms looking through the restaurant window, Minseon sat staring at us, he raised his eyebrows asking what we're talking about, I shrugged my shoulders and looked back towards Hyunjin.
''Oh thank goodness, I thought I was being ridiculous.'' His smile was brighter than the sun and I swore it blinded me, but I was sadly already blind from my own hurt.
''Hyunjin stop this, please just stop this'' I pleaded my arms finding their way around my waist.
''What Why? Stop what?'' His smile fell from his face faster than the speed of light.
''Just stop trying to fix us, stop trying to fix what's already broken'' I squeezed my eyes shut, I still felt for him, but I still didn't know what these feelings were, wether they're love or hatred, I couldn't tell.
''But I thought-'' I cut him off
''You thought wrong, you can't burn something to the ground and then place a band aid over it and hope it's all better.'' I was getting frustrated, why did everyone keep doing this to me, I've forgiven everyone way to many times and it's killing me but sometimes you just have to save yourself before you save others.
We stood in silence until I couldn't take it anymore, I turned around making my way back into the restaurant where Minseon was sitting, the holiday hasn't even started and I have to spend two weeks with Hyunjin.
''So What was that about?'' He didn't look at me he just took a sip of his drink.
''Nothing, we just had a little catch up.'' I smiled slightly trying to convince him, but he didn't look very convinced.
''You don't have to lie to me, I know you weren't very happy talking to him. I could tell.'' He finally looked at me, I let my mask crack and come tumbling down, sometimes I let people in to easily.
''your right it wasn't a little catch up, but it was something you don't need to worry about, I promise.'' I checked the clock on my phone. ''We might need to go soon our plane boards in about an hour.'' I added looking up, he was smiling. It was a small smile, a smile of relief, the smile you give someone when they fall over but convince them that you're okay. ''What?'' I asked confused.
''Nothing, I'm just happy'' he placed his hand over mine squeezing it gently like he did the first time we spoke together happily in the class room.
''Well I'm happy you're happy.'' I squeezed his hand back, his smile grew into a full ray of sun brightening the whole restaurant.
''Let's say cheers to a happy and fulfilling summer break'' he raised up his glass of ice tea and clinked it with mine.
''To a happy and fulfilling summer'' we chanted laughing wildly. Maybe summer wont be so bad afterall.
