This book is dedicated to my mom, she always encourages me to do my best, and even though I’m not perfect, she’s still always there. I don’t know if she’ll ever read this, and part of me wishes she never will, because that part of me is scared she wouldn’t like it. She’s been through so much, and I’m terrified that I would portray any of these scenarios incorrectly or offend anyone who's been in them.

But nevertheless, this is a book about trauma, grief, and anger. This is about sadness, and loneliness, and real world problems. It’s about friendships, and romance, and finding family. This isn’t another book about soulmates, it’s a book about learning to love others, and more importantly, yourself.

Most importantly, it’s about life, and living it to the fullest.
