''So you are the new family, am I right?'' he asks leaning on the doorsill, his blues piercing into her, as he ran those eyes down my frame before it locked it with mine, I felt my breath hitch

''Umm yeah, I think yes'' I fiddled with the end of her dress and she struggled to hold his gaze, it was so powerful. It made me stutter

His eyes were as blue and deep as the depths of the ocean, inviting, me to swim deep into its mysteries, but still so dark as the storm that ruins the joy, his eyes were a mixture of joy and pain, his eyes held a thousand secrets, a thousand doors which had no keys, a jinx, a puzzle, a mystery that can never be unfolded, like the infinity of the sky that can never reach an end, like the stars that smile upon us, no matter how much you try, you can't count them, His eyes scared me, but also gave me a sanctuary, It hurt her, but gave the soothing balm of love, most of all, his eyes hypnotized me.

''You think so? You are, and I am the son of the owner of this house, fille ( girl )'' his American-french accent spoke, his lips still a thin line, like he never smiles. I wondered why.

''Oh, I didn't know'' she whispers, pursing her lips into a smile.

''Ana, darling who is at the door?'' Kayden, my dad's voice comes from the house, within a few minutes, my dad appeared at the door, Gabriel gave him a smirk, giving him his hand, both of the men matched their heights.

''Gabriel, Gabriel Allerd, son of Hugo Allerd and Rachel Allerd'' Gabriel bows a little, Kayden's face lights up in recognition as they shook hands.

''It's a pleasure to meet you boy, to see my best friend's son at last'' Kayden chuckles patting his back, Gabriel gives him a forced smile, before running his ring clad fingers through his dark hair.

As decided to line the books on my shelf, I walked around the new and airy bedroom, it was much bigger and more beautiful than my old rooms, I couldn't help but smile.

But I found it hard for my hands to reach up the top-most part of the shelf, my tongue darted out with my concentration to reach there but I couldn't and my heart dipped.

''Someone needs help it seems'' I heard that deep voice from the door, I looked at Gabriel who stood there just the way I saw him first, leaning on the doorsill. ''Isn't that right shorty pants?''

''Oh please, Allerd, I ain't that short'' I say back passing him a nonchalant smile ''I could just take the chair and climb up''

''Right, shorty, I wouldn't give a damn about you, forget helping you'' he smirks waving his ring-clad fingers in the air, I clenched my jaw.

''You suck Allerd!'' I snap pointing my index at him, my eyes squinting. 

''Oh don't bother about that shorty, there are many girls who are ready to go on their knees to suck my dick, I don't need you for that, yet'' he chuckles darkly making my face go red in embarrassment. 

''Eww, someone's being too cocky'' I say back, my face painting with disgust. I have never seen someone as rude and cocky as Gabriel. ''And I don't want to know about what is between your legs Allerd'' 

Within a few seconds, he came in front of me, my back hitting the wall behind me as his face came closer to mine, my heart was in my throat.

''You would soon want to know what is between my legs, shorty'' he whispers deeply, his electrifying blues looking into my browns deeply, the pace of my breath started increasing.

''What's going on in here kids?'' I heard my mom, Mia's voice coming upwards, her gentle face came into view as she eyed us is in suspicion. 

''Oh, Aunt, I was just helping little shor- I mean Ana here with the book, right?'' he smiled innocently, dropping his muscular arms over my shoulders, my back hunched with the weight.

''N-'' before I could answer his squeezed my shoulders painfully making me wince ''Y-yes mom, he was'' I lie biting my tongue.

My mom's lips left a relaxed sigh as she walked her way downstairs leaving me alone with him again.

''Good girl, I will see you later, shorty, welcome to Paris, flower'' he whispers with a wink, before pressing his lips on my cheeks, jogging his way downstairs, he left me frozen.

I touched the place his lips touched mine, this boy controlled me the moment he entered my life.

''Welcome my friend'' Hugo Allerd enveloped my father into a hug as I looked around Gabriel's huge house that was just next door.

We slowly sat on their huge dining table as my brother William sat beside me, I looked in front of and he sat right opposite of me, his chin rested on his palms as he ran his eyes down my face. 

I placed the morsel of food into my mouth as I ignored the talks shared by our family, I looked at Gabriel who placed the spoon into the mouth, his eyes on mine as he dragged the silver utensil a little too slowly out of his mouth, his lip layering on the silver a little while longer as if he was trying to show me something.

His teeth dug into his bottom lip as he winked at me, my lips pursed as I ignored the red climbing on my dark skin. His face was devoid of emotion as he looked away from me, his fork playing with his food.

After finishing my food I excused myself and sat in the front yard of the house of the Allerds, the chilly wind made my teeth clatter, I gasped when I noticed someone else sitting beside me, that straight nose, that sharp jaw, those blues, Gabriel.

''Cold?'' he asked sincerely looking at me, placing a cigarette on his lips as he covered them, light igniting from the lighter as the flame touched the cigarette before he inhaled deeply.

I nodded while pursing my lips, I thought he genuinely cared when he asked if I was cold, maybe he would give me a jacket? But no one must expect kindness from Gabriel Allerd, he doesn't know how to love or care and I knew it now.

He just blew the smoke on my face making me cough like an ill man, my hands waving the air to let go of the smoke.

''There, you got warmth? Now go rot in the snow'' he whispered without a tinge of emotion in his tone, he stood up and grabbed me, I gasped when he dragged me and threw me into the freezing snow.

''Stupid Girl'' I heard him whisper before dragging from the cigarette and letting the smoke come out of his mouth before walking away.

I never knew why tears filled my eyes at this.
