Illumina POV

We had decided to go get recourses and food from stores around Lost Temple during the cover of night. Not incredibly late, but late enough. After much preparation we set out. Ban Hammer staying close to Medkit, and I, close to Ice Dagger. He was, understandably so, nervous. I believe we all were. He knew the dangers of coming on this mission, but he was intent on not staying back while we get hurt. It was quite brave of him actually.

We continued walking down the road until we came upon a small convenience store. Some basic snacks would be the only thing in it of use, but it would be something. As we continued on our way, we noticed that there was less destruction. The robots must have not moved up here yet.

 We saw a small botany store, which was strange, mostly due to the fact that we were in a desert, but we entered. As Medkit grabbed some medicinal herbs to grow, me and Ice dagger got items such as mint, garlic plants, and such. Each of us had brought satchels for items we deemed useful or necessary.

We left, and quite soon after, we found a grocery store. We had ransacked the place. Medkit got lots of items from the pharmacy, Banh Hammer, snacks like chips, childish, and me and Ice Dagger, actually useful food, such as meats, fish, vegetables, fruits, canned food, so on and so forth.

As we left the building I heard a noise in the distance. It sounded like... rockets? Suddenly out of the corner of my eye, I spot 5 robots coming this way. I inform the rest of our group, all of them preparing to fight. just in time I pulled Ice Dagger out of the way of a robot's landing path.

I summoned my sword and charged at the robot, intending to land a lethal blow to the head before it could do any harm to my smaller friend or our new companions. I was interrupted from this act, however, by another robot flying into me, dragging me away from the group. Slightly frantically, I punched it as hard as I can until I eventually cracked its head, essentially killing it.

Before I was able to celebrate my victory, I realized we were at least two hundred feet in the air. And we were falling. FAST. I began to panic, knowing I can't leave my friend alone. I broke out of the dead robot's grasp and attempted to make the fall better by landing on a tall building but missed by a few feet.

The ground was perhaps 20 feet below me, when I accepted that I was about to fall to my death. My acceptance was however foiled (luckily) when I felt a soft blanket of snow beneath me. It made me tired and made me want to curl up in a ball and fall asleep. I then realized Ice Dagger had saved me and came back into the current situation. 

I dashed forward sword in hand and decapitated the head of a robot about to injure Medkit. I gave him my hand and he took it, grabbing out his revolver. "Are you okay, Medkit?" I asked. "Yea I'm fine. I'll live anyway. Nothing a band-aid can't fix." I relieved and turned my focus to the remaining robots. I had just realized they're numbers had grown, now with 10 robots phighting us instead of the original 5.

"They had called reinforcements when you and Ban Hammer took out 2 robots." Medkit explained. I suppose my shock was quite clear. I made my face blank of any emotion and continued onward. 

I slashed at one, bit it jumped back, dodging my attack. A sharp, burning blade extended from its arm. It slashed at me, to which I easily avoided and slashed at it. I hit its leg, but it wasn't fazed. Its leg was not cut off entirely, but a god amount was cut through. Me and the robot continue battling, before I eventually swung a fatal hit to its heart, sending it to the ground, dead.

I then looked over to see Ice Dagger getting ganged up on by 3 robots. Two holding him and one with its blade extended. I Lunged at it and cut it clean in two across its body. The other two let go of Ice Dagger and jumped on to me. Knocking me to the ground. One raised its blade, but its head was smashed by Ban Hammer. For once, I wasn't minding him being here.

"Need some help?" He said as he picked up the other robot, threw it in the air, and wacked it with his hammer, sending it flying to who knows where. "Thank you." I breathed out checking on Ice Dagger.

"Ice dagger, are you okay?" I asked worriedly, though I didn't let it show. "Y-yea. I'm fine. Thanks for the help." He said, clearly scared. "Its fine, I was simply returning the fa-" I was cut off by a sharp pain running through by back and out of my stomach. As I looked down, I saw a blade, burning through me. 

"ILLUMINA!" Ice Dagger shouted as the blade was pulled out. I staggered a bit. I couldn't stand up for much longer. My vision was already fading. But I would not let anything happen to Ice Dagger as long as there was breath in my body. 

Turning around, I saw 4 more robots coming behind the one that stabbed me. They clearly though they'd won. They watched me stagger towards them, laughing at my weakness. Before they could get another word out, I cut them all in two without faltering. They collapsed to the floor, legs and upper body detached by a clean line.

With that, I fell to my knees. I could barely keep my eyes open. My hearing faded out. I fell to the floor. The last thing I saw before unconsciousness was Ice Dagger crying next to me. Then, nothing.

Just black...
