After a disturbing sleep for a couple of hours, I slowly opened my eyes startled by sudden pull in my hair. I cleared my eyes for I couldn't believe what I saw. It was Charlotte standing there with a smile trying to fix the pillow under my head.

'Char...!' I exclaimed sitting up.

'No, take some rest Becks, You've had enough for last few hours.' Charlotte said pushing me lightly to the bed.

'W-when did you....' I asked surprised.

'Just an hour ago, I felt a little stressed but a hot shower made me fresh.' Charlotte said with a smile.

'But Becks I'm sorry for what I caused you. I felt how you carried me to the hotel, help me vomit, dealt with the doctor and laid by my side by the whole night. Thanks for tolerating me Becky.' Charlotte said with emotional eyes.

Yeah. She is right. It was a hell of a job. 

'Cmon Char! No thanks in friendship but you should be sorry.' I said with a fret in my face.

'Wh..' Charlotte went nervous.

'You fucking tried to kill yourself Char.' I said jumping off the bed in a rage. 'Who does that?' I screamed at her.

'B-Becky, I'm...' he stammered.

'You should be sorry Charlotte. You know how worried I was? Forget me, didn't you ever think of Ric or your mother for that sake.' I asked with an expression of disgust. 'All you cared about was that Wanker Knobhead A..' I couldn't finish my abuses as Charlotte jumped in for a big hug.

'I'm so sorry Becky...' she said softly. Her voice cracked. She was perhaps crying. I wrapped my arms around her. 'It's okay char and yeah! I shouted too much.' I said childishly.

She broke the hug and looked straight at me, smiling through her tears.

'You love me that much Becky?' she asked and I pretended to be annoyed.

'I promise you Becks, I'd do that again. Yes, I agree I've been unlucky in relationships but I'm damn lucky in friendship. Her tears fell free and she chuckled through it. I was getting emotional.

'I don't need anyone without you Becks.' she rubbed her tears.

'Char, it's okay. There's a bright morning after every dark night dear.' I said placing my hand on hers.

'Yes, and besides I have Aj too.' she said amidst a smile. 'and I know he loves me.' That shot me completely off. Oh no! What if she comes to know....

'Btw, when's he coming back?' Charlotte said excited.

'Uhh..probably, t-tomorrow.' I mumbled.

'Can't wait for him. Once he comes back, I gonna say him a YES and make us official.' he said with a smile and I went cold, barely able to make a move.

'I've lost enough Becks.' she sighed. 'I don't want to loose Aj at any cost.' she said with determination.

My lips trembled. My mouth fell short of words and a pain of loss hovered over me. What am I going to loose.

The door banged, which ended my train of thoughts.

'Wow...So, you have started talking. Thank God.' said Sami coming in towards Charlotte.

Charlotte seemed to look embarrassed.

'Well. Sami. Thanks for being with me in the rough time.' she said.

'Oh c'mon Charlotte! Why are friends for?' he said with a  gentle smile. 'But, if anyone deserves a thanks, it's Becky.' he said and both of them looked at me with a smile. I fake smiled back.

They talked more but I was unable to perceive anything around me. I walked towards the door and excused myself. What is gonna happen when Aj comes back tomorrow?

It was Smackdown time. I had a match against Sasha Banks, I am to get into the Triple threat Women's Championship match if I win. I was booked to win though!

'And Lynch with a disarmher'. cried Cory Graves.

'Sasha's going for the bottom ropes. But, Becky pulling her in the middle of the ring.' commented JBL.

'And...she Shasha taps. Becky's going to Wrestlemania.' cheered Cory.

'A proud moment for this Irish lass.' JBL commented, as the referee raised my hands.

'But...hold...' Cory said.

'OooooooooooOoooooooooo' 

'Charlotte's walking in.' JBL said.

Charlotte walked into the ring. And extended her hands for congratulations. To build in the hype, I looked over at the wwe universe. Some said 'YES' while some 'NO'. I took her hands though and nodded with a smile. She raised my hands and I was so proud, that's when she hit me with her championship on my head. I was hurt, down and out. Charlotte went on her knees and picked up head up with her hand full of my hairs and made me look at the championship.

'You see Becky, this is mine. You can never have it...never.' she said and the crown booed.

She smashed the belt on my head once again and walked away as her music played.

End of tapings.

Backstage, I was taken to the medics who placed an ice bag on my forehead. The doc injected something a while ago and now, the pain's quite less. The door banged and Charlotte came in.

'O..Becky! It must've hurt real bad. I'm so sorry.' she said restlessly.

'It's okay Char, I said with a consolation. 'You did as you were told. Cheer up.'

'But, I could've just dropped the second shot if I knew you were that hurt. Stupid me!' Charlotte said frustrated.

'C'mon we are professional wrestlers. We should be prepared for something like this. And, I must say your heel turn worked pretty well lass.' I grinned at her.

She smiled.

'Thanks lass.' she said.

After some time Char took me out for shopping. She went on to the bags section while I settled for footwear. We went tired and went to the nearest McDonald's.

'So Becky are you excited for tomorrow?' Charlotte suddenly asked me. She had a grin on her face, make mine fade. 'I mean, Aj's coming back.'

'Uhm! Yes, a little bit.' I said taking a bite on my burger.

'Just a little bit, You're my best friend Becks. You should be so excited when your friend us going to meet her lover.' she said the last world with a blushful smile. I was torn inside. What to do?

'You think I should tell him tomorrow itself?' Charlotte said sipping into her cola.

'H-W-What!' I mumbled.

'Yes. I don't want to delay this anymore Becks. Just that I don't know how to start.' she said playing with her hairs.

I started debating myself now. Let's do this Becky.

'Charlotte,' I cleared my throat.'... may be Aj doesn't like you that way.....and what you saw was just a mere coincidence.' I blurted out.

Her face faded just as a high voltage bulb loosing a fuse.

'P-please, d-don't say this Becks!' she said softly, her voice quivering. 'I'm gonna die if things turn out this way.' a drop of tear escaped her eyes. I never thought she has gathered such passions for Aj in this short while. A lump of fret formed in my throat. My eyes were slowly getting heavy.

'I-I was just telling Char!' I said placing a hand on her shoulder. 'I'm sure you are right.'

'You think so Becky?' she said with a glimpse of delight. I nodded.

'Then, can you help me getting to him?' she said holding my hands. A thunder took over my whole body.

'Becky, can you ask him about me, I mean you know him longer than I do, so, it's gonna be easy for you. Becks Please.' she begged folding her hands.

That was like a deep dug on my injury and tears formed in my eyes. 'He is mine. I love him....' I wanted to scream but friendship got me numb. My phone vibrated. It was a message.

Aj: Just few more hours Becky.

       Hold your breathe.

      Calm your heart.

       I'll be there.

'Excuse me Charlotte,' I said rushing to the washroom. I couldn't reply him. Yes, I was struggling for the passage of these hours. Yes, my breathes are getting heavier for him. My heart beat faster than ever and I needed him so much. I busted into tears.

It's 10 am. Aj's flight must've landed by now. He would be checking in the same hotel for we have tour in Mexico tomorrow. 

'Becky,' I heard Sasha's voice.

'Hey! What's up boss.' I smiled at her.

'Nothing much. Just wondering if you'd get into some training with me for our match. I mean just some practice.' she requested.

Oh no! if I get to the training center it won't take less than 3 hours there. Aj would be here by that time!

'Ah! Sasha I...' I struggled to say no.

'C'mon Becks, I know you got no good to do here.' Sasha said confidently. 'Let's get going lass.' she asked.

I searched for words for few seconds and then,

'Ok, just give me a minute to get ready.' I told her.

'That's my girl.' Sasha grinned.

I can't believe I trained for five straight hours. It's too late and I can't hold myself any longer. I rushed towards the hotel entrance.

'Becky! Slow down girl.' Sasha said from behind. But, no time to hear. I ran towards the elevator to our floor. It moved so slow, it felt. Speed up! Speed up! 

Finally, I reached our floor and there they stood. Charlotte, seemingly the happiest woman in the planet, talking and laughing her heart out with him...Aj. The two looked at me from a distance and I couldn't figure their expressions out for my eyes were already blurred. I ran towards my room.

I took a long shower, hoping to cleanse my wounds. I change into a grey tank top and black leggings. As I went out, I was welcomed my a sudden hug from Charlotte.

'Oh! Becky, I'm so glad to see him back. We talking for half an hour and I could already feel the sparks.' she said squeezing me. I pulled away from the hug.

'Becky! you're alright.' she asked and I nodded with a fake smile.

'Just a little tired from the training.' I lied.

'And...you got to help me remember.' she said and I gave her a questioning look.

'Becky!' she massaged my back and I predicted a kind of flattery. 'You know, you are my best friend and my only hope. I trust you so much.' she said in a school girl manner.

'What can I do for you Char?' I said facing her. She smiled big and started playing with her locks.

'You got me lass! Can you talk to Aj about me today?' she said and the pit of my stomach started paining.

'T-today? This is crazy Char! He just came today. Give it some time.' I said restlessly judging her.

'Yes, and what if he too like all others, gets to pick someone else tomorrow?' she said impatiently. 'I don't want to lose him Becks, not at any cost. I am gonna kill myself if I have to lose him.' she busted int tears and ran into the bathroom. I stood there numb.

The long practice made me feel hungry and I  went to the catering area of the hotel. I struggled to choose ans stood their staring at the menu only when I felt someone grabbing me from behind,

'Ouch!' I cried. I turned to see the pair of most enchanting light brown eyes in the world. 

'Aj!' I said.

He smiled at my reaction.

'Who else did you think? Sami?' he asked with a taunting smile.

'Shut up Aj! You scared me.' I said.

'That's my right to scare you babe.' he said leaning a little closer, forming a smile on my lips.

'That's the lass I know.' he said with a cocky smirk.

'So, you've got a huge match at mania and you were so busy on it that you forgot that I was coming huh!' he said raising an eyebrow. Guilt ensued in my heart.

'Sorry Aj, I-I..' I was cut off as Aj placed his index finger on my lips.

'Ssshhh! I understand Becks. And I'm glad they gave you the deserving push.' he said. He removed his finger from my lips. I was hot after the much longed touch. I immediately bit my lips blushing.

'Those lips seem so thirsty.' he said eyeing my lips. His fingers went back to my lips and he started tracing lines over my lips. I closed my eyes in ecstasy.

'And what are you gonna do about it Aj?' I whispered opening my eyes and looking at him directly.

He gave me a cocky smile and rubbed the same index finger on his lower lip. He leaned forward and looked around the catering area filled with a number of people.

'Not here.' he whispered. I blushed hard and chuckled not believing that he went serious. The thought of being 'serious' made me remember something serious...Charlotte!

'Aj, I want to tell you something important.' I said.

'I know what you are gonna say Becks, trust me I have something to say you too.' He said, a passion in his eyes as he looked at me. 'Let's do it in Charley's this evening.' he said licking his lips. He did not know and even could imagine what I was gonna say. But, I need to tell him that.

'Well Aj actually...' I started but couldn't hold his attention for long.

'Hey Aj!' sounded a grave voice and we turned to see Roman Reigns approaching us.

'Hey man.' Roman bro-hugged Aj. 'Nice seeing you back.'

'Hello Becky!' Roman greeted me scratching the back of his head. I bet he remembered our last encounter in Karl's wedding. I felt like laughing hard and I could also see Aj suppressing a laughter.

'Well guys, I'll got to have something to eat. See you around.' I excused myself from the guys.

'I'll see you in the evening Becky.' Aj screamed at me and I smiled. As I smiled I bumped into someone.

'Why are you smiling so hard.' asked Charlotte raising her eyebrows.

I went nervous as hell. Should I tell her that Aj asked me out.

'We-well...Char..I...' I was cut off by her.

'I heard it Becks. You and Aj are planning for this evening....and you don't want me to know that.' she said with a sigh.

'It's nothing l-like that Char..' I stammered. The blanket of sadness and pain in her face soon turned into a wide grin.

'I love you Becky. I knew you would do it for me. Thank you so much.' she said hugging me tight. Oh no! She thought I was going to meet Aj for her sake!

'You know I always thought God was unruly on me.' Charlotte said straightening herself. '...for he always made be hurt. I was bullied for being not so attractive all through my childhood, my father shocked us all and divorced my mom for another lady at the age of 60...then, I lost the best companion I had, my brother Reid, I fell for a jerk who I married and divorced...' she rubbed tears from the corner of her eyes and than it was someone who literally toyed with my feelings.......' she sighed.' But, balancing all. God granted me you Becky, my best friend. Don't leave me Becky, Don't hurt me.' she said. Her eyes were moist and they had so much of trust on me.

'I-I won't.' I said holding her hands. She smiled through her tears.

Life has landed me in a crossroad. Love or friendship! But, now I've made my choice and I got to be strong. I walked into Charley's in a casual black Checkered shirt and a pair of blue ripped jeans. There were couples all over the place, hugging ang kissing each other, sharing their moments of bliss. I finally saw Aj. He was dressed in a lovely navy blue blazer complimented with a white shirt. A lump formed in my throat as I acknowledged how good he looked.

'Hey lovely lass, you're 15 minutes late.' he said gently pulling the chair for me.

'I was stuck in the traffic.'

'And I was stuck here without you.' he said with a sweet smile. 'But, I must appreciate your attire though. It's... different.' he said looking at me. I agree I felt embarrassed but I didn't want to get fancy today.

Just then the waiter came across.

'Ahh, what shall we order Becky?' Aj asked me. I was too weak to answer him.

'Anything.' I said and Aj gave me a quirked look.

'O..k, is there something called anything in your place.' Aj asked the waiter,perhaps, to tune my mood with humor.

'Ice cream.' I said 'I'll have Ice cream.' I said to shoo away the waiter.

Aj gave me another questioning look and then turned towards the waiter. 'Two strawberry Ricotas.' he ordered and waiter noted and left.

'Anything wrong with you Becky.' Aj asked looking at my eyes.

'I want to tell you something Aj.' I said, my voice cracking within.

'Me too.' Aj said with a smile.

'Me first.' I argued, surprising Aj but he nodded.

'Aj, there's a big thing going on around you that you've no idea of.' I started.

'What! Vince is gonna fire me. I should've known Becks.' Aj joked portraying a serious face.

'It's serious Aj.' I said firm and loud.

'Wo-Wo-Wo...what is it Becks that had been disturbing you since I came back.' he said with a concerned look.

'Aj, our exchanges took a wrong turn.' I said.

'Wrong turn! What do you mean?' he asked blankly.

'I know a girl Aj, she is head over heels for you. In her mind, she portrayed you as her lover and she things, you love her too and she would die if she doesn't get you.' I said cracking with every word. 

'Is that all Becks.' he said lifting my chin. Is that the way you do it?' he said gently, a smile on his lips. Oh no! Is he thinking it the other way round. Does he think I was talking about myself?

'Just tell her I love her too and she she can have me forever.' he said in a whisper and I knew I suspected it right.

'Really Aj!' Charlotte's voice emerged from behind. Yes, she wanted to come with me and that's what took me so long.

'Wow! I cant believe. Thank you Becks.' Char said jumping in happiness.

'What is going on here?' Aj said getting serious. '...and what is she doing here?' he asked disturbed.

Charlotte's smile kind of lessened. I have to spill the beans now. I got to be strong while ripping my heart apart!

'Aj..Charlotte was the girl I was talking about.' I said firmly. Aj was dumbstruck. '...and I came here only for her. Sh-she loves you Aj.' I finished as a venom struck my nostrils. I knew I was gonna break. Aj still looked at me shocked. I looked over to Charlotte, who was eyeing Aj and I slowly excused myself towards the exit...and then, to the car stand. I felt the earth turn upside down and my life was as hollow as it could be. I went to a dark place and completely broke down on my knees. 'I'm sorry Aj.' I whimpered.
