I know I hurt her too much. Before I left, I wanted to stop hearing her painful screams. She was down on her knees, helpless. A side of mine wanted to rush to the mother of my child, pull her up grabbing her tight. I would hug her like there's no tomorrow and shower thousands of kisses on her lips. But, the other side of mine objected. What are you doing Allen? This is the girl who had been breaking my heart thousands of time for past few months and now, she even wanted to name my child as someone else's! How could she be so cruel? I have every right to know about my child and take care of it before and after it's birth. But, she doesn't let me...!! Why....for her damn best friend who she wants to tie with my neck choking my breath for life! Me, my love, my child.. doesn't that matter to her? I felt a drop of tears escaping my left eye. No, I've had enough of the drama... enough of the make-believe... I'm do something that Becky cannot think of...

I called Charlotte earlier today. I am going to tell her the real dimension of our relationship. Now, it's gonna be a true and honest one. I chose a table in the middle of the hall in Prince's . I am nervous. I just got that thing from the jewelry shop..I looked at the red slender velvety box that I brought with me. 12 minutes passed and finally, I saw Charlotte walking in. She had a gentle smile on her lips. I stood up and pulled the chair for her being a gentle man..She sat across me. After studying the menu, we decided to go light and ordered some fries and buns with two cups of coffee. I looked at Charlotte. She seemed happy, yet confused within her smile.

'So..how's it going?' I asked sipping into my coffee.

'It's going..good..' she said playing with her hairs. She had been typing her phone more than usual today. She seemed really tensed. Anything wrong? Is Becky okay?

'Any problem Char?' I asked giving her a questioning look.

'Ahhmm...Aj... actually...' she was definitely in a dilemma, it seemed.

'You can tell me..You seemed tensed.' I assured her holding her hands gently.

'Aj..I have a secret within me that you don't know.' she said with a sigh.
I raised an eyebrow. What was she talking about?

'Aj...we have a complicated relationship.' she said. Really! She thinks we have a relationship!!!

'...and I know you don't find an ideal mate in me. That's quite evident from your reaction.' she said.

'Charlotte.. don't beat around the bush. What do you want to say? Is there a problem?' I asked impatiently.

'Aj..I know this might hurt you but, it's time I got to be honest with you.' she said nervously.

'About...?' I questioned.

'Aj.. I've someone in my life, someone really special..it has always been him for me. But, then he left me..' she said with a cracked voice.

She continued, '..but I could never leave. For me, he was the one and only one. He got engaged to another woman and I was so down. I wanted him so much.' she said with moist eyes.

I handed her the glass of water.

'Thank you Aj..' she said drinking some.

'Then you came and expressed your love for me and I thought you would replace him in my heart but the truth is..in every moment with you, I saw me. I wanted you to be him in my life. But, I was wrong Aj. Nobody can ever replace him. He came back to me and I realised I was still in love with him and wanted to be with him.' she paused as I listened carefully. ' I know I sound like a bitch to you but, I'm sorry Aj..I can't play on any more.' she busted into tears.

I was surprised, not at the fact that there was someone else in her life for I always guessed something like that but at the fact that how free she was to pour her heart. Why couldn't I do that?

Charlotte laid her head on the table sobbing. I placed my hand over her head.

'You need not to feel bad Char...I..I understand.' I said honestly. '..but, may I know who he is?' I asked out of curiosity. Yes, I got to know the man who caused it and ended it like that!

Charlotte picked her head up and looked at me at shock.

'A..Alberto... Alberto del rio.' she said. A blush came up on her face even within the tears while taking his name. No doubt, she was so much into this guy.

'Oh...'I said. 'I heard he and Paige were over...good.' I said.

'I know Aj.. although you pretend to be fine, you are really hurt and angry..' she said with an expression of guilt.

I scratched my head figuring my own state.

'Well Charlotte..I..I am not at all hurt or angry, actually.' I said and she looked at me with surprise.

'Charlotte.. I'm really happy for you.. honestly, that actually helped me a lot in getting over my own guilt.' I said with a sigh.

'Guilt.!.what are you talking about Aj?' Charlotte asked.
I got to do it now.

'Charlotte..I..cheated on you.' I said since the relationship itself was basically nothing more than a cheat.

'What? When?' she asked surprised.

'From the very first..' I said with a sigh. 'Charlotte..our entire relationship was a cheat, a lie.' I said.

I swallowed the lump formed in my throat and cleared my throat. I closed my eyes. I got to do this.

'I..I nev..never loved you Charlotte.' I said dropping a big load off my chest.

'What!!??..' Charlotte's eyes were about to bulge out of the sockets. 'Th..then why did you say it..and those gifts...' she tried to recall things in confusion.

'Well..I never said I loved you and those gifts...were never meant for you.' I said. Charlotte closed her eyes.

'Then, why did you do that to me Aj?' she asked in a plead.

'..because you misunderstood the whole thing and....the girl I love didn't want to see you hurt and asked me to correspond to you. I loved her too much and I could do anything to see her happy and she could do anything to see you happy, her best friend.' I said with a sigh.

'What..who is it...best friend!' I could see Charlotte's lips trembling as she talked. A fear, shock engrossed her. 'It can't be who I'm thinking, right!' she said with a cracked voice.

'You're right..Char..only one person in the world can sacrifice her world for you. Your best friend Becky Lynch.' I finished.

The spoon dropped from Charlotte's hand. She was trembling. She arched back and leaned to close her eyes. Tears rolled out of them.

'I.. I'm sorry Char..' I said. 'Becky was the one I loved..I always did and I still do.' I said. 'Then gifts, the outs, everything was for her..but...'

'but..she didn't want to hurt me, right!' Charlotte said smiling within tears. ' Silly girl..you were right Aj.. she's still a child.' she said but suddenly her smile faded and she sat straight facing me.

'Aj...is the baby yours?' she asked authoritatively.

'She won't think of anyone else Char..she loves me but would never take my name as the father of her child for she thought you would feel cheated.' I said.

Charlotte's tears rolled and she sobbed.

'Oh..Becky, she had to go through a lot for me..and all she did was still be my best friend.' she cried.

Tears were there in my eyes too but I smiled through it.

'Aj...I.. I'm so sorry for being an immature bitch. I turned your world up side downs and I've hurt Becky too.' she said.

'It's okay Charlotte..in fact, I'm sorry I hid the things for so long.' I said apologizing.

'Not your fault Aj....' she said firmly.

'Not yours too Char..' I said.

I held Charlotte's hand tight. She looked at me and we shared an empathetic smile.

'What are you gonna do now Aj?' Charlotte asked when I remembered something.

'Yes.. I've got something.' I said and took out the red velvety slender box in front of her.

Becky's P-O-V

After spending yet another sleepless night pertaining to morning sickness and dark circles, I finally decided to make myself a fruit salad. I don't want to eat. My hunger died but for the life inside me, I have to. I placed my hand over my abdomen as tears poured.

The door opened gathering my attention. It was Charlotte. She had a wide grin on her face.

'Hey Becks..' she came in and hugged me.

'Hey Char...' I said forcing a smile. 'What's up..?' I said noticing a kind of excitement within her.

She broke the hug with a smile.

'You know Becky.. I'm so happy today and you are my best friend. So, can't hide that from you.' she said. I wandered with surprise.

'Happy...ehmm!!..wh..what happened?' I said fearing something deep down under.

'Yes..' she said lifting her hand displaying something. My eyes fell on her ring finger........and....it wore a beautiful diamond ring. Has it happened? Has my worst nightmare come true? Aj and Charlotte are engaged!
I froze. Just then, the door opened again revealing Aj Styles! So, she brought her with him!

'Hey Char..' he said wrapping a arm around her. I held my breathe. I don't want to cry in front of them.

'Hey Aj..' she kissed his cheek and he smiled.

'Ehm...hey Becky..' he said still holding her.

Why is he doing that? I know I hurt him and he proposed her to return the favour. But, doesn't he know how much will that hurt me when I see it in front of me.

'Oh Becks..I brought Aj along with me..hope you don't mind..' Char said making a puppy dog face.

'No..no.. it's fine.' I said.

'Yes, I knew it..told you Aj..' Char said looking at Aj who threw her a smile.

'So, you got engaged last night?' I asked Charlotte digging my pain. Charlotte and Aj looked at each other and smiled.

'Yes..' Char said ' I wish you were there Becks.'

I chuckled at my fate.

'My bad luck.' I said looking at Aj.

Aj seemed to look in my eyes for few seconds and then looked away with a smile.

'But Becks! You have to be my maid of honour.' Charlotte said walking near me.

Yes, that's what was left for me, being the bride's maid in the wedding of the guy I love.

My eyes were glassy and tears would trip any moment now.

'Why aren't you answering her Becky?' Aj asked with a cocky smile insulting my injuries.

I can't take it anymore.

'Of course, she will Aj.. there's no second option.' Charlotte said and Aj smiled. I looked away hiding my tearfeds.

'Uhm...Aj..did you bring it?' Char asked.

'How can I forget that...yes I did.' Aj said looking at her.

Now, what could that be?

Suddenly, the door opened again.

'Hey babe.. sorry I'm late.' said Alberto getting inside the room.
Omg! Did he call Charlotte babe infront of her fiancee!

'No problem..babie..' Char said walking over to Alberto and kissing his cheek. I expected Aj to burn my house but instead he walked to Alberto and bro- hugged him. What is going on?

'I can't wait for your big day Aj.' Alberto said as Aj scratched the back of his head and seemed to blush! Omg! What happened overnight? Alberto's congratulating Charlotte's fiancee! C'mon! She is the girl he loves. And moreover, Aj's blushing! One rare moment!

I heard more steps approaching my door. Did Charlotte plan her marriage in my house today?

'Hey everyone!' I heard a familiar voice. 'I hope I didn't miss anything?' asked Finn Balor. Just as I thought, she's planned it here.

'Yeah..we got late picking up Sami.' Bayley said, Sami stood behind her.

'No..you didn't.' Char said looking at the trio. 'This guy is too nervous.' she said punching Aj's shoulder lightly.

They all laughed. What is going on? What are they gonna do? Any make out session in my house!?

'C'mon Charlotte, I'm not nervous.' Aj said, though he seemed to me.

'Then,why is it still in your pocket?' she said crossing her hands on her chest. They laughed again.

'Whatever!' Aj said putting his hand in his pocket, revealing a long slender velvety red box. What does it contain? Oh no! I know Charlotte loves me but she need not to provide me a repeat telecast of last night for me!

Aj's hands traced the box as he sighed nervously.

He turned to Charlotte and smiled. 'You were right Char... I'm a little bit nervous.' Aj said.

Charlotte let out a pleasant smile.

'Good luck Aj..go for it.' she said turning Aj towards me. What!

Aj looked at me in the eyes and I looked at his.

What's going on?' he's engaged to her!

'C'mon Aj..this is the best decision of your life.' I heard Sami say. What! Doesn't he know it's just a repeat telecast?

Aj smiled, still looking at me. He opened the box and it revealed....... something I've seen before...his great grandmother's gold necklace. But, it had a better glaze than the last time. It seemed traditionally exotic yet fresh. I froze as memories churned. My eyes hovered over the design of the necklace when Aj caught me staring.

'Did you like it?' he asked surprising me.

'I..uhm...Yes..of course...it looks even more beautiful now.' I said tracing my fingers over the material.

Aj smiled looking at me.

'I got it polished for you.' he said. For me? How can he say that in front of Charlotte.

As I kept on thinking, I didn't realised that the room filled with Awwweesss.

'C'mon Aj... it's already a yes.' Finn said shocking me. A 'yes'!

'Yes and your situation is definitely better than mine last night.' said Alberto smiling.

Him..last night!

'Stop it José..I still said you an yes.' Charlotte said as Alberto pulled her closer. 'Yes, my future wife.' he said mingling his hand over her ring finger. I didn't know what's going on..It was Alberto who proposed Char last night. Oh yes, she said he was about to meet her too. But, what about Aj then?

Before I realized, Aj stood very close to me. I looked at him confused.

'For me, it has always been you Becky.' he said answering as well as confusing my conscious.

'I told Charlotte everything last night.' he said and I was dumbstruck.

'You t..told her?' I asked surprised.

'Yes Becks..and you should've done that way earlier.' Charlotte said. 'Oh Becks..you sacrificed your love for me?' she said holding my hands with moist eyes. Why did you do that lass?' she said looking at me with tears.

'I'm s..sorry Char..I...' I was cut off by Charlotte.

'Sorry!' she said angrily. ' You know how much you hurt this guy?' she pointed towards Aj. ' And...Becky...what about your child?' she said empathetically.

I froze and walked away from her. I was caught. They all knew everything. Charlotte! Alberto! Sami! Finn! Bayley! I looked around and finally my eyes fell on Aj.

He was looking sad and I felt so painful. I hurt him so much!

' Allen..I...' I started.

Aj cut me off as he walked towards me and held my hands strongly. I looked in his eyes. He picked my hands up and kissed them. His lips set a current in my body.

'Well you marry me Becky?' he asked suddenly. My head was spinning. Is this a dream?

Before I knew, Aj went down on his knees, holding the necklace box for me.

'I know normally you would expect a ring but...' he scratched the back of his neck, '..this is what I prefer..' he said.

I couldn't believe Aj was proposing me with his familial necklace. I felt so special but my mind stopped working.

'Ye..Yes..' I said, tears rolled down my cheeks. Aj smiled and stood up quickly.

'Wow..she said yes..' I heard Bayley shout.

Charlotte looked emotional and smiled through her tears. Alberto held her strongly.

'Oh Becky..' Aj said kissing my forehead. He looked at me and started walking behind me. Soon I felt a ticklish sensation on my neck. Aj's fingers traced my neck line and I closed my eyes in pleasure. I felt something falling over my neck. It's the necklace. He put that on me. Does that mean we are engaged? And we are going to get married? Aj and I are going to have a family with our child! Aj's mine and I'm his! We are finally together!

Thoughts flowed in my mind as my head spinned. Darkness fell and I'm slipping. My senses were fading and I felt two strong hands holding me.

'Becky.' I heard Aj's voice faintly.

My eyes opened slowly. My head seemed heavy but light. I saw Aj looking at me with concern. I laid in my bed.I looked around to see Charlotte, Alberto, Bayley, Finn and Sami.

Aj saw me opening the eyes.

'Rebecca, you're alright? How're you feeling now? How did that happen?' Aj threw several questions at me cupping my face with his palms.

I chuckled at his concern for me.

'Relax Allen, I'm fine..a lot better and that happened because of what you once did..' I said and Aj looked at me confused. I guess he didn't get innuendo but...oops! I realized there were others standing too.

They chuckled looking at one another. I saw Bayley blushing. Aj saw them chuckled and something struck his head. He busted out laughing.

'Yeah..yeah... that's me.' he said scratching the back of his head. '..and I'm fine proud of it.' he said throwing a wink at me. I blushed for there are others watching too.

I looked at Aj to realize that he was looking at me already.

'Becks... I'm really happy for you lass.' said Sami with a warm smile.

Sami had been one of a kind. He's been a true friend. He agreed accept me when I was left out and now that I found my love, he's happy for me. That's the value of friendship, I guess.

I smiled at him.

' Yes, Becks... your story is so romantic.' Bayley said chickily.

'She's right Becky dear, Aj is your prince charming.' Finn said smiling.

I smiled at his comment.

'But, Becky don't hurt him again.' Alberto advised and I nodded.

I closed my eyes again. This is better than every dream I ever had.

'Hey, where are you closing your eyes Becks, you're okay?' Charlotte asked being concerned.

I slowly opened my eyes.

'What now? How are you feeling Rebecca?' Aj said being more concerned and scared. I chuckled.

'What Becky?' Aj said examining my expressions with concern.

'Allen... it's just that...' I paused, ' it's the end of all my complications and I feel.... phenomenal.' I said the last word in a whisper.

Aj smiled and leaned towards me. I bit my lip. His lips touched mine and he kissed me infront of the whole room. I kissed him back making the kiss deeper. It's the best kiss of my life.

The room filled with Awwweesss again.
