"Hurry up Tuck!" Sam exclaimed as Tucker tried picking the lock to the small birdcage the agents had trapped Lilith in. He was using one of Sams's hairpins.

"I'm trying! Besides, they nullified our quirks; are you sure Lilith is gonna understand what you want her to do?" Tucker glanced at the cell door, hoping nobody would walk in on them trying to set Lilith free.

"I wouldn't have recommended this idea if I wasn't" Sam sassed back, irritably. Tucker didn't blame her, after all, they were kidnapped right before they were about to board their flight.

"I can't believe Vlad outsmarted us! He must know about my quirk, and that we've been keeping tabs on him.. I hate how he's using us to get to Danny! That self sacrificing moron is probably on his way here right now!" Sam leaned her head against the concrete wall, stressed out.

"We might have gotten a bit too careless.. but it's okay, you have a plan and your plans always work" Tucker smiled once he heard the satisfactory click of a lock unlocking. Sam quickly crawled over to the cage and opened it. Lilith flew out and landed on Sams's arm.

"Alright Lilith, I know you can still understand me, I need you to go to that green-haired kids' house, the one that Raine told us about, do you remember?" To Tucker's surprise, Lilith nodded her head.

Sam had heard from one of the agents that they had tricked Eraserhead and the rest of the pro heroes into thinking that they were in America. Sam didn't know any other nearby heroes so she decided to send a note to one of Danny's most trusted friends.

Sam quickly reached into her pocket and grabbed a small notebook. She tore off a piece of paper. She reached into her other pocket and grabbed out a pen.

After scribbling out a quick recap of what happened, she rolled up the note and handed it to Lilith. Her friend grabbed the rolled-up note with her beak.

"He's Danny's friend, I need you to drop that note off to him. We'll be fine so don't worry about us, okay? You can fit through the cell bars; just don't get caught, I know you can do it" After Sams's explanation, Lilith shimmied through the gaps in their cell door then flew out of sight. Luckily the warehouse that they were being held hostage in was dimly lit so the dark bird wouldn't have any issues blending in.

"How the hell did you do that!? Vlad nullified our quirks!" Tucker asked in astonishment. Sam rolled her eyes.

"Do you have any idea how intelligent crows are? I may not be able to currently understand her, but I know she understands me.. she's always been able to understand me" Lilith had been Sams's only friend for the majority of her childhood and high school years. They've been together since Sam was seven years old, their bond was stronger than ever. Sam did not doubt in her mind that Lilith would still understand Sams's directions.

"Yeah, good point.. but are you sure putting our faith into a bunch of high school kids is a good idea?" Tucker knew he shouldn't judge, but this was Vlad they were talking about. He was unstable and crazy, not to mention dangerous! And unstable! And crazy!

"From the stories my crows have told me, this wouldn't be their first time dealing with crazy and unstable villains. Besides, didn't you say my plans always work?" Tucker knew he couldn't argue back at that.

They both perked up when they heard a familiar voice shout,
"Y'know, since you're ruining my week by kidnapping me the least you could do is carry me to my cell!" They both looked at each other, relieved that their friend sounded okay at the very least.

Soon, two agents came into view dragging their ghostly friend behind them. They opened the cell door and harshly tossed Danny onto the ground. They shut the door, making sure to lock it behind them.

"Guys! Are you okay!? Did they hurt you?!" Danny immediately fussed over them as he got up. He had bruises all over his arms and face which angered the two teens.

"We're fine, dude! But look at your face!" Tucker winced in sympathy at Danny's swollen face. Nothing seemed to be broken, luckily.

"Oh, they didn't like the comments I made about their life choices... that, and I threatened them that if they didn't let you guys go now that I was here; I'd boil their teeth.. it's fine though! I've been through-"

"-way worse, we know, but that doesn't make it okay" Sam cut Danny off with a stern look.

"I know, just how I cope.. Anyways, we need to start on a plan! I left a note for Shiori, but my dad and the other heroes are in America right now.. hopefully, they still send people though" Even if Danny hadn't given Shiori the coordinates, he still had the tracker in his shoe. People knew where they were, it's just the matter of how long they'll take to get there.

"I'm sure people will come soon.." Sam nudged her head over towards the empty birdcage. Danny pieced the idea together pretty quickly after that.

'Who did you send Lilith to?' Danny signed the words so no nearby agent would overhear. Tucker looked between Danny and Sam, very glad he chose ASL as his language in school.

'Izuku, I figured he would be the best choice. You seem to trust him a lot, and my birds don't know where to find the heroes here in Japan' Danny nodded his head in understanding.

'One thing I'm curious about, how did you know where to find us? Did Vlad send you a location?' Tucker signed, head tilted with confusion plastered on his face.

'Yeah, he sent me the coordinates' Danny signed back. Sam looked back, looking equally as confused.

'Wasn't that kind of stupid of him? Why would he send you the coordinates, obviously you would have given the location to someone else before you left' Sams's signing sped up once they heard voices. Three guards walked past their cell, not showing them any attention. All three let out a breath they didn't realize they were holding.

'I have a tracker in my shoe, thanks to my Dad. But luckily Vlad doesn't know that, and he probably still thinks I'm the same kid I was a year ago when I had nobody to trust. He probably didn't think about me telling anybody. People will definitely find out where we are if they hadn't already' Danny finished signing.

The two were interrupted once more by the sound of walking feet. Instead of walking by, the sounds stopped right outside their cell. They all turned around to see who it was and Danny paled.

Standing in front of the cell door were Jack and Maddie along with a couple agents, who were both aiming their special guns at Danny.

The ghostly teens breathing immediately picked up speed. His mouth went dry, heart thumping in his chest. He didn't even realize he was shaking until Sam placed a hand on his shoulder. Tucker stood on his other side, both of his friends glaring daggers at the adults in front of them.

"Step away from the specimen, it's time for the experiments to begin" Maddie's voice was cold and hard as she ordered Sam and Tucker.

Sam shook in anger, raging seeming to bubble in her chest.
"He's not a fucking 'specimen' he's a goddamn person!" She spat. Danny managed to calm his racing heart as he felt his two friends next to him.

"I-It's okay guys!" Danny tried to calm Sam down, worried they'd get hurt.

"Step away from the ghost!" Maddie exclaimed, motioning for the agents to turn their weapons on his two friends. Logically he knew the weapons probably weren't designed to hurt humans, but he couldn't risk the slim chance that they were. If he wasn't a hundred percent sure they were harmless, then it might as well be zero.

When they didn't step away, one of the agents pulled the trigger on their gun. Danny panicked as the bullet grazed by Tucker, cutting his arm open. His friend hissed and immediately grasped his arm, eyes widened in shock and fear. Danny's eyes flared green and a sudden wave of power washed over him.

He wasn't quite sure where it came from, just that the only thing on his mind was to protect. The agents noticed his eyes change color right along with the Fentons who pulled out their own weapons.

Danny immediately engulfed his two friends in a hug. A plan immediately formed in his mind and he hoped it worked. If it didn't, Danny didn't even want to think of the consequences.
"Please, just find Frostbite" was all Danny said before using his powers to summon a portal big enough for his two friends, something he's never achieved before.

The portal opened up behind them and Sam gave Danny a frightened look.
"Danny don't you dare-" She didn't get a chance to finish before Danny shoved them both through the portal. He watched in relief as his friends disappeared in the ectoplasmic green vortex before the portal closed up.

Immediately, Danny was shot by another quirk tranquilizer by one of the agents accompanying his parents. Immediately, the young teen collapsed onto the floor of the cell and curled into a ball. Blood was pooling out of his ears and nose, his whole body shaking in exhaustion. His head began to throb and he could feel the pounding of his heart in his ears.

He felt somebody yank his arms behind his back and cold metal slap around his wrists. He winced as he was yanked onto his feet by the two agents, bringing him eye level to his birth parents. They both looked at him like he was scum on the bottom of their lab boots. He quickly looked down, avoiding their scathing gaze.

"Why did Jazz have to be the one to die?" Maddie sneered, walking closer. Danny's shaky body froze once he heard his older sisters name.

"Instead we have a Monster" Jack spat, also walking closer towards the injured teen.

"Jazz would be disgusted with who you turned out to be" Maddie remarked.

Danny's body began to shake again, this time rage filling his body in place of the exhaustion. His head snapped up and his angry eyes met his parents.

"Keep her name out of your fucking mouth" Danny launched towards the two ghost hunters, the agents struggling to keep him contained.

His parents stepped backwards in surprise, Jack placing a hand to his belt where his ecto gun was holstered.

"Don't you ever say her name again! and don't you ever call me a monster! You abused me since I was a four year old child- you left a six-year-old to do the job of her parents, Jazz loved me! She took care of me! Don't act like she would agree with the likes of you" Danny spat, utterly disgusted. He continued to pull against the struggling agents hold and towards his parents. He was running on pure adrenaline and rage.

"Especially not when you verbally, mentally, and physically abused me my whole fucking life! When Jazz died, you didn't even let me get to see her! My own sister, who fucking died and I didn't even get to say goodbye!" Danny's voice broke as he screamed at his old parents. Maddie and Jack continued to back up in shock as Danny threw himself towards them.

"Jazz would fucking hate you, she would hate the shit parents you are! I'm not fucking evil, I'm not a fucking monster you are" Danny seethed cornering the two hunters against a wall, pulling the two struggling agents with him. The agent on his right frantically began calling for backup but Danny ignored him.

Jacks eyes hardened and his fist clenched.
"I fucking hate you!" Danny's eyes filled with angry tears. He opened his mouth to shout some more, but jacks fist connected with his face. He began throwing more punches and Danny struggled even harder against his restraints.

When Jack threw his fourth punch, a snap was heard in the room. The metal cuffs around Danny's wrists fell to the ground with a clang.

The four adults didn't have time to react before Danny punched back. He tackled his biological father to the ground and began throwing punch after punch. Maddie screamed and began shooting at him with her ecto gun. Danny didn't even react as three bullets were imbedded into his right shoulder. Tears of anger and sadness were falling down his face, mixing with the blood that was pouring out of his broken nose from Jacks abuse.

"I hate you! I hate you I hate you I hate you!" Danny screamed, throat raw as he continued punching Jack. The older man tried grabbing the ghostly teens hands to stop the punches but Danny phased through Jacks attempts.

Maddie tackled Danny off her husband, pinning him to the ground. She shoved her ecto gun against his forehead but Danny quickly flipped her off and aimed an ecto blast at her. He fired and hit her collarbone. She gasped and fell back, the area burnt and blistering.

"MADDIE!" Jacks nasally voice shouted out in fear. His face was already turning black and blue and his nose was clearly misshapen. Danny turned to flee but froze when he felt something sharp pierce the base of his neck. His shaky hands reached up to grab whatever it was and pull it out.

He looked down at the needle in his hand then looked up, meeting the eyes of Vlad, who stood at the entrance of his cell with a smug look on his face. An Agent stood beside him holding a tranquilizer gun.

"Shoot him again" Vlad ordered. Immediately, Danny was shot again. This time in his thigh. He collapsed onto his knees, vision growing darker.

Danny collapsed onto his side, still facing Vlad. Danny glared as the older man walked closer.

"Why must you make things more difficult, little badger?" The gray haired man asked.

"Fuck you" Was the last thing Danny spat before he knew no more.
