"Do you have any idea how worried I was? The power in the arcade suddenly goes out, then you just vanish!?" Aizawa was pacing back and forth in Danny's room. Danny sat on his bed, looking down at his folded hands. Sam and Tucker were in the living room with Yamada and Nemuri.

"Everyone was looking for you, did you not hear Nemuri shouting your name?" Aizawa asked, trying not to sound too intimidating. But still, he had thought that Danny was kidnapped by his parents. He spent the last week stressing about it, sadly it seems like he was now taking his stress out on Danny.

"It's not my fault! You didn't tell me that my parents escaped from jail! It's not fair to me, you can't just start acting all strange without telling me why!" Danny said back, his tone having a little bite to it. Aizawa looked at him in surprise before shutting his eyes, letting out a deep sigh.

He flopped down onto the bed next to Danny, who was making a point not to look at him.
"I'm sorry, kid... I know I should have told you, I just didn't want to worry you" Aizawa looked over at Danny, who was still refusing to look at him.

"I'm sorry for snapping at you, I was just worried. I know I shouldn't have taken my stress out on you and I'm sorry kid.. I didn't give you a chance to explain when I dragged you, kids, over here, did I?" Danny quietly shook his head. At least he was now acknowledging his presence.

"It's ok.. I'm sorry for snapping at you as well. It's just, I've been feeling so crowded ever since. I need some space, I now understand why but.." Danny trailed off. Aizawa nodded in agreement.

"I understand kid, from now on I'll let you know about these things. Although I'm hoping I won't have to, this had better be a one-time thing" Or else Aizawa would make sure to put a permanent stop to it.

"Knowing my luck, that'll happen about eight more times" Danny gave him a cheeky grin which made Aizawa smile. The pro hero pulled his son into a hug, resting his head on his kids' head.

"Well I'll have to lower that number to zero" the two stayed like that for a moment before they remembered the other occupants in the living room.

"Let's go greet our guests, shall we?" Danny nodded and two walked out of his bedroom and into the living room. Immediately, Tucker popped up from where he was sitting.

"Please don't be mad at Danny sir! It was our fault, we dragged him away so we could clear up any misunderstandings and tell him about Vlads plans!" Tucker exclaimed.

"Yeah, so don't be mad at Danny alright?" Sam seemed to be a bit more intimidating at Tucker as she seemed to stare Aizawa down.

"Guys it's ok, also! This is Aizawa! I mentioned him a few times during our conversation, he's my adoptive Dad and the pro hero who caught me back in Amity! He's also my homeroom teacher, also I just now figured you already knew.." Danny trailed off as he spot the bird perched on Sams's shoulder.

Aizawa looked back over at Tucker, eyebrows drawn together in confusion.
"What do you mean Vlads plans?" It suddenly clicked together, the words 'DALV' written on that gauntlet, written on the uniforms that were on those people who had broken the fentons out of prison. DALV was VLAD spelled backward.

For fucks sake how did he not realize sooner?

Sam quickly filled him in on what Lilith had told her. Aizawa was silent for a moment after she finished.

"Alright, I'm going to make a few calls and probably meet up with some heroes to discuss. Yamada, come with me. Nemuri, stay here and watch the kids. I'll leave some money on the counter for food, don't let Danny have more than one muffin" He ordered, making sure to pronounce the 'one' with an extra stern tone.

"Got it, now get outta here" Nemuri pushed the two pro heroes out the door. She turned back towards the trio.

"So, who wants to play some board games?"

"Scarlet in the dining room with the candlestick!" Danny was very good at the clue. Like, extremely good.

"Good game guys, Pass him the yellow envelope" Tucker sighed, throwing his cards behind him. Danny had won the past six games and he was done.

Nemuri tossed him the envelope and once he opened it, he cheered when his guess was correct.
"Alright little ghost and little ghosts friends', I'm going to go make some dinner, your parents are aware that you're here, right?" Nemuri asked the two ghost hunters.

"Yeah I texted them, thanks again for letting us visit," Sam told the pro hero. Technically, their parents all think that they're on some school trip for a club they're in. Thank god Sam comes from a rich family.

"Don't mention it, we're just happy that Danny got to reunite with you two" Nemuri smiled. Danny had spoken about the two briefly a few times in the past so Danny's family was aware of them.

The pro hero walked into the kitchen to get started on dinner.
"Wanna head to my room? I have a tv in there that we can play video games on!" Danny asked.

"Sure, although if you phase into the TV I'm quitting," Sam said as she stood up.

"Does Lilith tell you everything about my powers??" Danny asked incredulously as he lead them all into his room.

"Not just Lilith, all my other crows do as well" She smirked a little at Danny's expression.

Once inside, they all sat down on his bed. Tucker used his quirk to turn the TV on since Danny had lost the remote.
"I will never not be amazed by your quirk," Danny told his techno-geek friend.

"Thanks, man! You have no idea how nice it is to not have to worry about losing the remote" It was a true statement, Danny loses the remote every time he puts it down.

"Hey clueless, your phone is going off" Danny was surprised to hear his old nickname. He turned towards Sam with a raised eyebrow while Tucker snorted.

"I forgot about that nickname" The techno-geek chuckled at Danny's bemused expression.

"Okay Sammy-kins" Danny smirked as Sam shuddered at her nickname her mom always uses. He overheard it on several of Sams's phone calls.

Danny checked his phone, one was a message from Aizawa asking how things were going and the rest were from the group chat.

Danny looked at the group chat and smiled at all his friends' comments.

UravityEET: can we please have one normal hangout?

AlienQueen: wheres the fun in that?

Muffin: I thought our hangouts were normal?

ZuZu: Danny kun last time you were almost kidnapped and we almost went to jail

Tapeyboii: I can see why he was confused

Sharkyboii: Hey bro! How's your current hangout going?"

Danny looked up and saw Tucker having a staring contest with Lilith while Sam was telling him to 'hurry the fuck up and put on the damn game'. Danny smiled and went back to typing.

Muffin: I think pretty normal :D

"You look happy, it's... nice" Danny looked over at Sam, curious. She had a small smile on her face as she looked at him, so did Tucker.

"She's right, dude, we hardly ever saw you smile back in Amity, which is understandable with what we know now," his tech-obsessed friend said.

"Huh? Oh.. well, Aizawa is a great Dad and he's helped me a lot! Along with the other UA staff and my classmates helped a lot too, not that you guys didn't help me though!" Danny was quick to reassure them at the end.

"It's okay Danny, what we were trying to say is that we're happy that you're happy. You deserve a nice life, and we're glad to see you're finally getting there" Sam quelled his panic.

"Speaking of which, tell us some stories, dude! Sam gets hers from Lilith and she always gives me a rushed version!" Tucker turned towards him, eyes eager. Sam rolled her eyes at Tucker but turned towards Danny as well, the video game was forgotten for now.

So, Danny started from where he first met Aizawa. It took a while, but eventually, Danny had told them all that had happened. He told them about when he and Izuku had that talk and his broccoli-haired friend helped him find the courage to tell Aizawa. They both seemed grateful for that.
When he got to the sports festival, he found it less difficult to talk about than he thought he would. He told them how his classmates, especially Kirishima, saved his life.

"So I guess Sam doesn't need to threaten anyone after all?" Tucker tossed a smirk towards their gothic friend.

"Shut up Tucker, I was never going to threaten anyone" they all knew that was a lie.

"Anyways, after the sports festival was when I had my very first sleepover! I played a ton of games I never had before, like ding dong ditch, and never have I ever!" Danny looked back at the memory with a smile.

"Was that when you were almost kidnapped by that man who claimed to have puppies?" Sam raised a bemused eyebrow while Tucker looked at him, alarmed.

"Dude..."

"I never had the stranger danger talk properly before then okay!" Danny flopped down in embarrassment before tossing Lilith a betrayed look. Why did that crow tell Sam everything?

"Why must you spill all my secrets... Is it because I abandoned you when I left for Japan?" Lilith turned her head away, refusing eye contact.

"That's a yup" Tucker snorted.

"Anyways! Game?" Danny turned towards his friends.

"Hell yeah!" Tucker cheered.

"Hell no!" Tucker cried out as Sam and Danny both passed his car.

Sam placed first, Danny following after. Eventually, Tucker placed 12th place.
"I demand a rematch" Tucker grumbled.

"That was our 16th rematch, no" Tucker flipped Sam the bird which she immediately returned. Suddenly, her phone went off. She looked down and paled.

"Crap, Tuck our flight leaves in like a half-hour" Tucker sat up, alarmed.

"What!? If we miss this flight my parents will kill me! They'll get all suspicious"

"I can fly you guys to the airport real quick!" Danny offered. The two looked at each other, unsure.

"I don't know dude, with everything going on with Vlad I'm not sure if that's the best idea. Plus, we can just have someone drive us" Tucker explained.

"It'll be fine, It won't take very long since I've been working on my powers!" The two still looked wary.

"Look, it takes like an hour to get there by driving, I can get you there in like 20 minutes so we should leave now! Plus, we can fly invisible so we won't be caught!"

"Ok fine! But you better make it back safely or I swear I'll kill the rest of you!" Sam threatened. Danny nodded.

"Alright grab my hand!" Danny quickly went ghost and his two friends grabbed his hand. He turned them all intangible and invisible before flying out of his apartment. He prayed Nemuri wouldn't find out.

He'd be grounded for life.
