Okami's POV 🎑

"If it's what you and Yin were thinking, then, you're not wrong at all..." I went, before gently taking Yuki back into my arms, once Yin returned her to me.

"Yeah. But, just out of curiosity, what's with the zoroark features on Shokou?" Yin asked.

"I happened to notice this, when I looked at her ears and face for a moment, if you wondered why I asked that question."

"Oh...Her zoroark half went in rage a little because of the pain, but, it calmed down afterwards." I explained.

After hearing what I said, Yin had a small surprised look on her face for a moment.

"So, Shokou's been able to fully keep her zoroark half under control?" She asked.

"Yeah. From the moment Phobos raised her, to when she and I first met, and to when we got married before recently becoming parents." I answered.

"If only I knew...." Yin sighed to herself for a moment.

In response, I nodded my head in understanding before letting her hold Zara in her arms next, once I gently laid Yuki in the basket that was made for her and her little sister.

A small temporary bed, just for Yuki and Zara, for the time being until Shokou fully recovers from the childbirth pains that she went through earlier.

Me, the nurse, and Phobos made sure that the beds were strong and big enough to support the kids' weight and height.

We also made sure the beds were comfortable enough for Yuki and Zara to sleep in without a problem.

Looking back at Yin and Nightmare, I smiled after seeing that Zara had woken up too and was getting along with them very well, just like Yuki.

"Well, aren't you and your sister the most adorable and sweetest little girls in all of Hisui?" Yin says before playfully nuzzling Zara, which made her laugh softly and cutely in response, before she stopped nuzzling.

After that, Zara rested her head on Yin's chest and looked up at her, her eyes being filled with curiosity.

"Aww...Are you curious about Yin?" I asked as I smiled.

After I said that, Zara turned to look and made baby zorua noises at me while giving me a cute smile.

I chuckled in adore before coming over and giving her a head pat.

"She's such a cutie. Just like Luna over here." Nightmare mentions as he chuckled a bit before looking over at his little sister and picking her up.

Just when he did that, Yin smiled and giggled a little as Luna looked at Nightmare and stuck her tongue out at him in a playful manner.

Yin's POV 🌺

After interacting with Zara for a little bit, I returned her to Okami, being gentle since I know delicate babies are, especially when they're newborn.

Doesn't matter if the child is a pokémon or human that's a hybrid by blood, like Shokou...

What matters to me is being careful since I don't want to hurt them by accident and upset both Shokou and Okami.

At that moment, once I returned Zara to Okami, Shokou eventually woke up and yawned a bit before noticing us.

Knowing she had zoroark features on her, she completely hid her face with one of her hands and remained like that for a few seconds before moving her hand out of the way and showing her face again, in which she surprisingly had somehow reverted it back to normal.

Just like when we met her, before I figured out and learned that she's Phobos' daughter.

"Hey, Yin..." Shokou says as she looked back at us.

"Hi. Are you alright?" I asked, knowing what's she's been through earlier, even though I haven't experienced it myself.

"Yeah. Still in pain, but, it's not bad as it was before." She answered while smiling a tiny bit.

"That's good...Oh! While we're here, we wanted to give you and Okami our congrats. Ress wanted me to tell you his congrats too, since he heard the news." I mentioned as I smiled back.

"Thank you...How are Lucky and Artemis doing?" I was asked next, which surprised me a little, until I remembered that Phobos was there and inside his pokéball when Lucky and Artemis wanted to join my team.

"He must've overheard and told Shokou and Okami about it..." I thought to myself.

"They're doing alright...Came with me too after hearing the news about Yuki and Zara's birth." I answered.

"Heh. Cute..." Shokou went as she smiled again.

"Yeah! At the same time, I still can't believe that Yuki and Zara are our nieces now!" Luna says as she smiled cutely.

Just when I heard that, I looked over and smiled at Luna as I picked her up and cuddled her.

"You're so cute!" I say, making her laugh a little.

"Aside from that, is your zoroark half still in the seal? Or is it trying to break out, despite the state the seal's still in?" Shokou asked, showing a serious look in her eyes a little for a moment.

"I don't really know at this point. Nothing's been happening from the moment it got sealed away in the necklace, so far..." I answered, showing her a worried look on my face.

"And it's still like this too, even when the seal's starting to get weaker."

"I see...I'll try to figure something out and get it done quickly, once I'm fully recovered and able to get myself up to my feet." I heard Shokou murmur a bit.

"If your zoroark half breaks out of that seal, even when the seal's currently weakened, it could stir up chaos again...Just like the bidoof massacre incident.

I can tell it still hasn't been tamed and corporative with you. It's level amount of hatred is extremely immeasurable."

Just after she said that, I nodded my head in understanding before feeling Nightmare hug me, in which I tightly hugged back as my usual response to his comfort.

At the same time during this moment, I suddenly started to remember the memory to where I first encountered a spirit and his unovian zoroark that was kind, understanding and gentle.

Who was exactly like Nightmare, back when Ingo and I was at home until we were separately sent here, knowing we wouldn't be able to return.

Thinking about that also made me remember when I encountered Ingo again during the moment I first met Sneasler in Coronet Highlands.

"Night? Can I ask you something in private for a moment?" I mention as I looked at him.

Seeing that sudden action I made, both surprised him and the other two a little before he nodded his head in response.

"We'll be right back." I say as I turned to look at Shokou and Okami for a moment. "Watch over Luna, Artemis and Lucky until we return."

Then we left after being given an understanding look, once I told Lucky and Artemis that they can come see Shokou and Okami's kids.
