Shokou's POV ⛩

By the time I arrived and carefully got myself off of Basculegion, I thanked it before going inside the cave.

Looking around, I noticed it was a little bit dark inside, so I rested my hand against one of the cavern walls to feel my way through until I've reached the end of it.

When I did, I noticed it wasn't dark anymore but was dimly lit enough for me to see pillars in there.

"Woah...The air feels really mysterious and damp in here, even though it's just a cave." I said to myself as I looked around.

"Such a shame Yin caught Azelf...It really would've been an honor to meet it. Just like when she met the other two lake guardians, and the legendary pokémon as well."

Just for a bit, I decided to stick around a little longer, so I can memorize and remember it for a long time when I leave.

Unfortunately, I was taken out of my thoughts real quickly when I suddenly felt a sharp pain circulate from my abdomen, making me wince a little.

"No. Not yet...It's too soon!" I began, knowing what's going on, as I felt the pain grow stronger.

Having no choice at this point, since it's gotten too unbearable for me to even be standing, I walked over to the pillar that was closest to me and used it to support my balance for a moment, as I carefully sat myself down and rested my back against the wall.

Groaning, all I could do was look over at the entrance that I entered in from while I panted heavily, hoping that my father, the nurse, and Okami would find me here in time.

For a little bit, no one didn't come until I suddenly heard running footsteps before seeing Okami, my father and the elder nurse who's apparently given a piggyback from him.

"Shokou! Are you in here!?" I heard my husband call out.

"I'm over here!" I panted out as I waved my hand in the air to get their attention, before wincing in pain a little.

Once they noticed, they quickly hurried over to me before my father gently setted the elder nurse down.

"What in the name of Sinnoh were you doing here?! You had me and Phobos in a panic for a few minutes before we spotted your note and caught a whiff of your scent coming from here." My husband asked as he walked over and sat down next to me, while he took my hand.

"I-I'm sorry...I just wanted to look around in here for a moment. I was gonna head back when my water suddenly broke." I explained between pants.

"I can understand, but, don't go off somewhere by yourself like that again." He sighed wearily before kissing me on the forehead.

"But, we can talk later...Right now, we got a baby or two to deal with first."

In response, I nodded my head in agreement, before the nurse started to get things ready, as Okami helped her out.

As for my father, he came over and brought out a blanket before laying it down on me.

"Thanks, Dad..." I say before giving him a small hug.

"You're welcome. It's the least I can do at this point until the child's born." He says before smiling gently.

I nodded my head in understanding as I smiled back in response.

"Okay, everything's prepared...Are you ready, Shokou?" The nurse asked as she looked at me, while Okami came over and held my hand.

I could only nod my head again after I was asked that question, before we proceeded...

Yin's POV 🌺

During the hours I've spent working on my pokédex, and from the day my frenzied zoroark side was sealed away, I happened to notice and realize at one point that I wasn't suffering PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) very often like how it's happened to me before.

I still get them every now and once in a while, but it's not severe as it was previously.

While I was at the village and thinking about it, I was suddenly snapped out of my thoughts when Ress hurriedly came up to me.

"Yin, I have a message to you from Phobos." He says before handing me a piece of paper.

As I took the note and read it, I was a bit surprised.

"Yin, Shokou birthed a human and a zorua in Lake Valor! And they're both girls! She's even named them after her mother and sister.

It's hard for me to say much, because I'm in tears of joy over the fact my daughter became a mother right now and I'm officially the kids' grandfather.

If you, my siblings, and the new members of your team want to, you're welcome to pop over at the settlement and meet my grandkids there. We should be at Shokou's tent, since we had to take her back, so she can rest from the childbirth."

- Phobos

After reading the note, I smiled and nodded before putting it away with my things.

"What'd it say?" Ress asked, obviously feeling a little curious.

"Someone I know from the diamond clan just recently became a mother." I answered. "She had two daughters."

"Oh! Tell her I said congratulations!" He says before smiling.

"Don't worry, I will." I chuckled. "Also, I'll be heading for Crimson Mirelands in a moment. I gotta go get my stuff ready for the trip."

Giving me an understanding nod, Ress waited while I went to my quarters and grabbed the things I'll need.

As for Nightmare, Luna, Artemis and Lucky, I brought them along with me as expected.

"Okay, now I'm ready." I say to Ress, after I came back.

Then I was taken off to Crimson Mirelands.

Nightmare's POV 🌙

As I followed after Yin, until we arrived at the Mirelands camp, I noticed her glancing over at me for a moment and smirking a little.

"Alright, before we head our way to the Diamond clan's settlement, place your bets for some berries...You think the newborn zorua'll be the usual red and white or the shiny one?" Yin asked as she turned to look at us.

"I vote red and white!" Luna and Artemis said in unison.

"Shiny." Lucky and I added.

"I vote red and white too...And now that our bets have been placed, let's head on over there." Yin chuckled a little before we began our way.

Once we made it and went over to Shokou's tent, Phobos was standing outside uncontrollably smiling.

It was quite obvious he was so happy and had went into tears of joy, because there were tear stained streaks on the sides of his face.

"Y'all came..." Phobos says, his voice slightly quiet, as he walked over to us. "Both Shokou and Okami are inside the tent, but, I recommend talking quietly when you enter.

Shokou's still worn out and asleep from earlier..."

Once he mentioned that, Yin and I nodded in understanding, before we quietly went inside the tent with Luna, while Lucky and Artemis waited outside.

As we were in, Okami was sitting down on a chair and watching over his and Shokou's newborn daughters, before he looked up at us.

"Hey! Come on over!" He whispered.

In response, Yin approached before silently gushing in adore when Okami showed her the human daughter in his arms.

When I got a good look at the child, I could easily tell right away that she looked exactly like Shokou's mother.

"She's so cute! What did you both name her?" Yin asked as she gently took the child into her arms and held her, supporting the infants' neck at the same time.

"We decided to name her Yuki, since it's the very same name that Shokou's mother had." Okami answered.

"As for the second daughter, we named her Zara. Same name as Shokou's deceased sister too."

"Those are really nice names. I hope your daughters will grow up strong, beautiful and safely together." I mentioned before smiling.

"Thank you. And I hope so too as well." He replied.

As for Yuki, which she's being held in Yin's arms, she woke up and yawned a little before noticing and making baby noises at us.

"Aww~! Hello there!" Yin says as she booped Yuki on the nose.

After she did that, Yuki had a small surprised look on her face before laughing cutely.

"Aren't you such an adorable, little angel?" I chuckled before giving Yuki a light head pat, being gentle with her too.

"She is...Zara on the other hand is a stubborn one." Okami mentions.

"I'm honestly not surprised, since I already figured out why. But, I won't say it either because of the kids and my little sister being around..." I say while Yin nodded her head in agreement.
