Yin's POV 🌺

"Woah! Hey! It's alright! I'm not gonna hurt you!" I say after I took the blow of the attack.

"How can I be sure of that? And are you really a Zoroark or a human?" The shiny Zorua asked.

"Because I didn't attack after I saw you...And I took the blow of your attack instead, knowing it has no effect on me.

As for your second question, I'm actually a human mostly by appearance. But, I have Zoroark blood in my veins too, not just human blood." I answered.

"So, you're a half human and half Zoroark? That seems really weird...How is that even possible?" The shiny zorua went next.

"It's hard to explain this to a young pokémon like you, but, I'll tell you later. Right now, you're trapped underneath all of that wood." I replied before sweat dropping a little.

After I said that, I walked over to the trapped zorua and broke the wood apart without hurting it.

Once we were sure that it was big enough for the zorua to get through without a problem, I stepped back, allowing the zorua to come out.

"Thank you..." The zorua says as it looked at me.

"You're welcome. Now, what were you doing in there anyways?" I mentioned before asking.

"My brother got injured and trapped in an avalanche from protecting me...He asked me to go and look for someone who can help him get out from underneath the avalanche and treat his injuries.

But, when I was passing through here, the tree branch I was trapped in, suddenly fell and caged me in. I couldn't get out because my attacks weren't strong enough." The zorua explains as it looked at the both of us.

"I've tried asking other wild pokémon for help before the tree branch thing happened, but, I would either nearly get myself hurt by them numerous times or they would refuse to help me."

"If that's the case, then I want to help. Take us to him." I say, making the zorua feel surprised.

"You....You want to help? Like you actually want to help?" The zorua asked.

"Yes! Take us to him!" I replied while nodding my head.

"Then follow me!" The zorua went before it started leading us the way.

Without hesitation, I followed after it, while Nightmare tailed after me.

By the time we arrived, I could only stand there, my facial expression showing an emotion that I can't describe very well.

As I guessed, the shiny zorua's brother was also a shiny too, only he's a zoroark instead.

Normally, I would've been a little excited again over the fact that I met a shiny zoroark too, but I don't think this is the rightful situation to be excited right now. Especially when a blizzard is happening.

Looking over at the zoroark, the shiny zorua ran over to its brother, showing worry.

"You came back. And with someone who's finally willing to help." The shiny Zoroark says as he looked over at his little sibling.

"Yeah..." The zorua replies as it rested its head against the Zoroark's forehead for a moment before stepping away.

Looking at the situation, and like the zorua said, the brother was injured and trapped in the avalanche.

But, he wasn't completely trapped though.

His upper body and arms were the only parts that was free, but, I could tell when he tried to get himself out from underneath all of that snow and large chunks of ice debris that somehow ended up in it, it didn't do him any good because of the weight of the snow and his injuries.

He was literally pinned down on the ground.

But, just by seeing the look on his face and in his eyes, I could tell the shiny Zoroark was begging and pleading us to help.

He looked so scared and in such horrible pain.

Just seeing that made me feel like I was looking at myself before I met Luna and Nightmare for the first time.

Clenching my fist a little, tightly, I swore myself that we'd get him out, no matter what.

"Maybe we could try digging your brother out of there?" Nightmare suggested as he looked at the zorua, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"But, there's so much snow and ice chunks...
Look at the size of those things! And they look really heavy too." The zorua pointed out, which they're not wrong about at all.

After the zorua mentioned that, I immediately felt hesitant and only had one solution to this.

Most of the reason why I felt hesitant is because I didn't want to be away from Nightmare.

"Night, go get your older brother." I say as I turned to look at him.

"But, Yin - " He started before I lifted a finger up.

"Night, Phobos is the only one who can help us get the shiny Zoroark out from underneath all of that snow and the large debris of ice chunks." I say, as I looked at him.

"I know I'm not exactly fond of this idea either, despite the fact that it involves us being separated but, I need you to go back to Snowpoint Temple and tell him what's going on."

Just by looking at him, I could tell he felt hesitant about this too.

"Okay..." He went.

"I do have another idea though...If you end up in trouble or something else happens to you, I want you to use this." I say before pulling out my celestial flute.

"Your flute?"  Nightmare asked.

"Yes...Even when I am in my human form, I can hear the flute far away. Just like how you can hear a Froslass from the distance, both alpha or regular." I mentioned.

"But, I want you to pay attention and listen well, so you'll know how to play the flute. I've already taught Luna, so, you don't need to worry."

In response, he nodded in understanding.

"Like I said, I want you to pay close attention and listen well..." I continued.

Then I did the same thing that Mai did, when she taught me how to play the celestial flute.

After I was done, I looked at Nightmare and handed the flute to him.

"Now, show me how I played it." I said.

Nodding in understanding, Nightmare changed himself into his human form, before he played the flute the exact same way I demonstrated to him.

After he was done, I nodded my head in approval.

"Alright, you passed. You can hold onto the flute until you return with Phobos." I began, joking a little at the beginning, but, still being serious.

In response, Nightmare nodded his head in understanding.

"Go on...Go get your brother. Use these in case you get hurt if you have to." I say before handing him some berries.

Nodding his head again, Nightmare left after calling Wyrdeer with the flute.
