Adaman's POV 💎

"Is there a way Yin can calm the frenzied Zoroark side of her, now that it's already awakened?" I asked.

"I have no idea..." Cogita answered as she looked at us and shook her head a little.

"Only the Kitsunes would know...But, unfortunately, most of the elder descendants have passed on over the years, as of today.

Even though there are some that is still alive, they either have trouble remembering, or no idea at all how to put the frenzied Zoroark side at ease and under Yin's control."

"Damn it...So, there's no solution to my uncontrollable transformation problem at all?" Yin groaned.

"Afraid not. However, if there's a young member in the Diamond or Pearl clan who's strongly connected or even related to the Kitsunes, they might know the answer to your situation...Seek them out if necessary." She replies.

"Now that you mentioned it, there is someone in my clan that looks like they might be related to Yin." I mentioned as I looked at her for a moment.

"She may be young, but she seems to be really wise, like you..."

"If that's the case, then please take me to her, Adaman!" Yin pleaded as she turned to look and face me.

"Don't worry, I will." I replied before smiling a bit at her.

"Then, I wish you all good luck on your search, if the diamond clan member is not related or connected to the Kitsunes at all.

Let me know when you've made progress." Cogita went as she finished her tea off and stood up.

"We will. Thanks for telling us what you know so far, Cogita." Irida says as she smiled a bit.

"You're welcome. I will be in my tent when you return." She mentions.

Then, I turned to look at Yin.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Yeah. I want to gather the information and get this done quickly as we can, before night falls again." Yin replies as she nodded.

"Alright, off to Crimson Mirelands." I went before we left.

Once we made it to my clan's settlement, we went over to the member's tent, that I mentioned earlier back at Ancient Retreat.

"Doing alright, Nightmare?" I heard Yin ask as she looked at her Zoroark, that she's walking together with, for a moment.

"Kowoww..." He answered, sounding a bit worried about her.

"It's okay. I'll be fine." She replied as I spotted her pulling him into a hug, at the corner of my eye.

In response, Nightmare hugged her back while burying his face in her chest.

For a few seconds, they remained like this before parting the hug.

Walking over, I was about to knock on the door, until I noticed there was a note.

"If wanting to see me for necessary reasons, check Lake Valor where Leader Adaman is usually at occasionally.

But, if you're here to pester and be a nuisance to me, then go away and leave me alone, or I'll torment you to death with illusions of your worst fears." it said.

"Very likely of her to leave a note here. And to be pretty serious about it too." I went as I smiled to myself a little, before going over to Lake Valor.

By the time we were getting close, the sound of a melody being played through the celestial flute was suddenly heard.

"What a pretty and mysterious song. It's almost like how Irida plays on her flute, but different...This one's more spooky and ominous.

Irida's melody was more comforting, if I have to tell the differences between them." Yin mentions as she looked ahead.

"That's true. And it fits the description just right as well." I replied.

By the time we showed up, she was there by herself with her Zoroark as expected, playing on her flute as she had her attention and gaze focused on the cavern where Azelf is.

Once she was finished with her song, she putted her flute away.

"Welcome back, Adaman." She says, without turning to face us. "Here to see me?"

"Yes and No." I answered. "I brought someone along here with me this time, who needs your help with something you only know about."

"I see..." She went after turning to face us and glancing over at Yin.

"My name is Shokou. And the Zoroark standing next to me, that I always travel together with, is named Okami."

Yin's POV 🌺

"Nice to meet you. I'm Yin and the Zoroark next to me is Nightmare. Also, the Zorua is his little sister, Luna." I say, introducing myself as well.

"Nice names." Shokou replies as she smiled a tiny bit.

"Thanks, you too as well." I went before smiling back.

"Before you met her just now, Yin, Shokou is a woman who sticks to her words on what she says, most of the time." Adaman says as he turned to face me.

"But, she's also really scary when you make her mad, which is something I strongly recommend not doing, if you don't want to be tormented by illusions of your worst fears."

"You're not wrong at all, Adaman..." Shokou went as she walked over to us, as Okami followed behind her.

Just by getting a good look at him and Shokou, Okami seems to be the same height as Nightmare's...

Except Okami's just a bit more taller than him and has a scar on his right eye, while Shokou had one on her left eye underneath her hair that was swept over naturally, hiding it very well.

What interests me the most was the fact both of them have white and red hair while sharing the same red eyes.

"I'm starting to strongly believe she's Phobos' human daughter Nightmare told me about." I thought to myself, before looking away from her.

"Sinnoh, I remember what Shokou did to Melli, when he was being too full of himself again, in her presence recently." Adaman mentions before snickering a little.

"Now you got me curious. What did she do?" I asked.

"When Shokou was minding her own business while Melli was being too full of himself around her one day, she got sick and tired of it and tormented him with illusions of his worst fears for hours.

And after she decided to lift the illusion, Melli was so terrified that he actually had night terrors and peed himself in his bed, for days at night. It took him several months to recover from that experience afterwards." Adaman explains while he was obviously trying his hardest not to laugh.

"You know it's true that he deserved it. Especially when he starts whining to you like a spoiled little kid." Shokou replied as she smiled and chuckled a bit.

After hearing the story, Nightmare, Lian and I started laughing hard, easily imagining that scene in our heads on what went down between her and Melli, ever since Shokou's been in the diamond clan's picture.

"Never expected Melli to be a major wuss for someone who acts so proud, bold, and manly of himself." I choked out between laughs.

"But, I agree with Shokou. He deserved it."

"That aside, what is it that you're here to see me about?" Shokou asked, once we stopped laughing and calmed down.

Then I told and summarized the explanation to her about my current problem.

Nightmare's POV 🌙

After Yin was done explaining, Shokou made a thinking reaction as Okami looked over at her for a moment.

"I think I might be able to help you subdue it." She says.

"But, it's not gonna be very easy."

"What do you mean?" Yin asked, indicating that she was starting feel slightly stressed out, confused and afraid.

"For starters, me and Okami have to witness you going under your transformation at night, to confirm what the source of your problem could be." She answered while I nuzzled Yin lightly a little by the crook of her neck, trying to comfort and reassure her that everything'll be okay.

"The rest of the details, we'll work out later."

In response, Yin nodded in understanding while reaching over and petting me, as she ran her hand through my fur.

"But, there's something I want to ask..." Shokou mentions next.

"What is it?"

"I want you to battle me with a Zoroark-only team. Think of this as a test to see how close you are towards the Zoroarks you have...

How strong is your bond? Does it have any weak links or is it strong enough to the point that you can't tear or break your bonds apart?"

After she said that, me and Yin were a little surprised by that request.

"I'll let you switch out your team and prepare yourself, while I wait here. Come back once you're ready." Shokou says.

In response, Yin nodded her head again before we left to the Bogbounds Camp, with Irida accompanying us as Lian, Sabi and Adaman stayed behind.

When we arrived and Yin switched out most of the team, she looked over at Phobos for a moment before holding the pokéball firmly a little that contained him inside.

"What's wrong?" I asked worriedly as I rested my hand on and lightly squeezed her shoulder a little.

"I'm a little worried about my transformations...What if I'm stuck like this or as a Zoroark forever, even if Shokou does figure out the situation and resolves it?" Yin says as she looked at me.

"Even if you do end up being stuck like this, or remain a Zoroark, I will still accept and love you no matter what. Just like the way I've always been loving you right now." I replied before giving her a comforting hug.

"Thanks, Night..." She went before hugging back and kissing me on the cheek as she smiled a little.

I smiled back in response, before we went back to the Diamond clan's settlement and to Shokou, once Yin was sure she was prepared.
