Luna's POV 💫
"It really doesn't." Sabi went before nodding in agreement. "However, the massacre happened during the night, shortly after the Zoroark was released into the wild."
"Then I have a feeling I might know where the Zoroark is now." I say as I looked at her and Lian.
"Where?" Lian asked.
"Probably in Oreburrow Tunnel. Where else would a Zoroark be at, when it's nowhere around Windswept Run, Floaro Garden, or Ramanas Island? Especially when it's natural habitat is pretty far away." I answered.
"I've seen them underground in Bonechill wastes at Alabaster Icelands. Never went near them though for my own safety, because it was rumored that the red on Zoroark's fur is probably the blood it bathed itself in, from killing its enemies and its own injuries." Sabi mentions.
"I don't really think that rumor is true. Zoruas like me have red in our fur, and we're not even strong enough to kill other pokémon, the same way Zoroarks normally would. It's something we were probably born with." I replied while I sweat dropped a little and shook my head.
"Plus, I don't think blue and purple is the color of human blood, since I've seen shiny Zoruas and Zoroarks walking around before.
Even though red, blue, and purple are the colors of the arteries and veins, I just don't see blue and purple as the color for human blood."
"Valid point." Lian went as he nodded.
Then we headed off to Oreburrow Tunnel, while still remaining cautious.

By the time we made it and went in, it was exactly as I guessed.
Inside the far end of the cavern tunnel was the Zoroark I was looking for, only she was asleep when we found her.
And when we got a better look, just to make sure it is her, there were the Bidoof corpses Lian mentioned that disappeared without a trace after he found them.
"Keep your distance. I don't think any of us would want to wake her, if we're up close while she's asleep." I mentioned as I looked at Lian and Sabi.
"Don't worry. We're aware." They said.
"Oh, my bad. I forgot about that since you're both wardens..." I went before sweat dropping a little.
"It's alright. But, what now?" Lian asked. "We've found the Zoroark you were looking for and confirmed where the massacred Bidoof had disappeared off to..."
"I'll keep an eye on her. Both of you go get Adaman and Irida." I answered.
"How are you gonna do that, without being spotted, if she wakes up?"
"Ceiling."
"Ceiling?"
"Yeah. I can hide up there using Sneasler. Nobody doesn't really pay much attention to what's above them anyways, unless something starts fall." I answered simply.
"And even if I did get spotted, I can use the Sticky Globs to stun her and make my get away or use the Sleeping potion I created, to knock her out for the time being until she wakes up again."
"Alright. Just be careful. I don't think me and Lian would want to leave and come back, only to find out that you ended up like the massacred Bidoof too." Sabi mentions.
In response, I nodded my head in understanding before I pulled out Yin's flute.
"Take care, you two..." I say before playing it.
Then I told my ideal plan to Sneasler, once it showed up, as Sabi and Lian left to go get Adaman and Irida.
- - -
Ever since a few minutes had passed, the Zoroark surprisingly didn't wake up.
The only thing I've seen so far was when she would twitch a little in her sleep every once in a while.
"She must've been worn out and really tired before or after the massacre...Not that I can blame her for it." I thought to myself as I kept watching.
Hours went by and she still hasn't woken up and moved a single muscle, making me feel a bit concerned about her.
At the same time, I wanted to tell Sneasler to climb back down to the ground and let me go check on the Zoroark, but I didn't want to take the risk and end up getting attacked so suddenly if I tried to wake her.
After what felt like I was waiting forever, Lian and Sabi had finally returned with Adaman and Irida.
Silently sighing to myself in relief a little, I gave Sneasler the word to climb back down before she did so.
After thanking her, I turned to look at the clan leaders.
"So, we've heard from our wardens about the Bidoof massacre and the Zoroark that's behind all this..." Irida began. "What is it that you need our involvement for?"
Then I explained to the both of them and the wardens what I was thinking.
"You think Yin might be the Zoroark?" Lian went, as he was a little surprised.
I nodded my head in response.
"Yeah. That's what I think and why I'll need your help. She acts really different than the other Zoroarks I've seen." I answered.
"But, I also have a concern though that's been on my mind when I was keeping an eye on her for a while..."
Then I told them what I noticed in my point of view, when Lian and Sabi left to go get Adaman and Irida earlier.
"I suppose that is really concerning...But, is she okay?" Irida asked next.
"I don't know. I didn't approach her to find out myself, despite the fact that I didn't want to take the risk in waking her and getting attacked." I replied as I looked over at the Zoroark that still remained asleep.
"Go wake her then. And don't worry...We'll make sure she doesn't hurt you either." Lian says as Irida nodded in agreement before she requested her Glaceon to watch over me for a moment.
Even Adaman had the same idea because he requested his Umbreon to watch over me as well.
"Alright...Here goes nothing." I say before silently walking over to the Zoroark, as Umbreon and Glaceon followed me.
For a moment, when I was about to wake her, the Zoroark suddenly twitched a little in her sleep again, making me flinch for a second when she did that.
Then she just continued sleeping.
Sighing to myself a little in relief, silently, I reached over and rested my hand on the Zoroark's shoulder before shaking her lightly.
"Hey. Wake up..." I said as I kept my gaze on her sleeping figure, mentally readying myself for her to attack me without any warning.
But, that surprisingly didn't happen.
All I got from the Zoroark was a soft growl while she still remained like this, before moving a little for a moment and resting her head against the cavern wall.
After seeing that, I only sweat dropped a little in response as I sighed.
"Wake up." I said as I shook her gently again, while I lightly smacked her by the cheek with the back of my hand.
No response.
She just remained the same way that she's currently still is.
I know she isn't dead or anything like that, because she wouldn't have made the soft growl or moved at all earlier.
Plus, she's still breathing.
"Wake up!" I say as I shook her a bit harder but was still being gentle.
After I did that, I wasn't getting a response again until the Zoroark slowly opened her eyes and looked at me, after I stopped.
When I focused my attention back at her, the Zoroark had a vacant look in her eyes and on her face, as I noticed her breathing was a bit shallow.
"Are you okay?" was all I could utter out of my mouth, as I noticed the vacant expression.
Without even responding, the Zoroark just stared, which started to feel creepy and really uncomfortable for me.
All she did was rest her clawed hand on my human disguised wrist, and continued to stare.
"Uhm...What's with the staring?" I asked, feeling confused at this point.
Nothing.
"Can you even hear me?"
"..."
Sighing a bit, I looked over at Adaman and Irida, giving them the 'A little help here?' look.
Understanding, they walked over and helped me out with the situation that I'm currently stuck in.
"Get....away......" The zoroark suddenly managed to utter out, her voice hollow, but crystal clear enough for us to be heard.
"That voice....Yin?! Is that you?!?!" Irida went as she, Lian, Sabi, Adaman, and I had a shocked and surprised look on our faces.
".....Yes....." Yin replied as she letted go of my wrist.
"What happened to you?!" I asked. "We've been looking for you for hours!"
"Can't...explain...now...." She says before shutting her eyes for a moment as she clutched her chest tightly a little.
"Struggling to...regain control...."
After she said that, we were shocked again this time.
"What do you mean?"
"Wait until...daylight...first! Just...get...away!" was all she managed to say next.
Without hesitation, we immediately left the Oreburrow Tunnel just in time, before hearing an enraged Zoroark scream.
"Good thing all of us got out before we could get spotted..." I say before sighing in relief.
"Yeah...But, the question still lingers in the air about what's happened to Yin and how did she end up in a Zoroark's body?" Adaman went.
"Or how did the Zoroark end up in her body, if that's what happened?" I mentioned.
