10| Wild Bidoof Massacre
Luna's POV 💫
Sighing in relief, I helped the security corps take her and my brother, out of the beach and to the village.
While my brother was being dealt with his injuries, me and the others decided to keep the female Zoroark in the village for a little bit, before deciding on what to do with her when she wakes up from the potion I made.
Definitely wouldn't want to send her out in the wild, when she's asleep and defenseless, if we decide on that.
As we were thinking, the construction corps went over to Yin's quarters and started working on the repairs from the damage that was made to the doors.
"I think we should let her out in the wild." I say as I looked at Zisu, since I was still disguised as Yin.
"Even though she didn't look it, I could tell she's afraid and confused about this village."
Agreeing with my recommendation, the security corps sent the Zoroark back out into the wild, once she woke up.
Once that was dealt with, I reverted back into my usual Zorua form before heading off to the Galaxy building and seeing how my brother was doing in the Medical corps' room.
Heading over to the bed that my brother was in, I got in it and crawled over before laying myself down next to him, curling up into a ball while I buried my face into the crook of his neck, where he isn't wounded at.
In all honesty, I felt bad for my brother.
Not only because of the injuries he kept getting twice, but the fact Nightmare isn't much of a fighter, even though he still tried his best to defend himself.
However, I noticed something was off too, with the female Zoroark we released into the wild earlier.
Her scent and the sound in her human-Zoroark voice seemed familiar.
Almost about the same as Yin's voice and scent.
After I took a nap for a little bit, knowing Nightmare won't wake up for a while, I got up and turned myself into Yin, before going over to Professor Laventon and explaining what happened earlier.
Including the part where the Zoroark was acting strange before I knocked her out.
"I've heard from the security corps about the wild Zoroark running amok in the village, but, the rest of the story that you just told me, I had no idea about.
Are you certain this is true?" The professor says before asking.
In response, I nodded my head.
"Yeah." I replied. "I know it's hard to believe, but my ears and nose never lie."
"If that's the case, then I recommend an investigation on the wild Zoroark that ran amok in the village. See if you or your brother can get some answers to this and Yin's sudden disappearance, along with the mystery behind it.
We might know what's going on, if we gather enough information.
And as for the new potion recipe that you created and mentioned that you made for the wild Zoroark, how about we call it, a 'Sleeping Potion' ?
A useful item that'll knock wild pokémon out for a limited period of time, giving you a better opportunity to either catch them or escape from them while you have the chance..." The professor replies.
"Alright, I'll let Nightmare know when he gains consciousness and is fully recovered. Also, I like that idea. Very fitting name for and the description of it." I say before smiling.
"I don't see why not? If there's any more ideas and recipes you have made, that'll help others out with their pokédex, don't be afraid to let me know!"
Nodding in understanding at the professor again, I left as I waved before heading back into the medical corps' room and over to my brother, after I reverted myself back into a Zorua.
For a few days, I stayed over at the medical corps' room until my brother was fully healed.
I could tell he wasn't in good condition to be going anywhere for now, during the times I was with him.
As of right now, we were inside Yin's quarters, wondering where she is, since the incident with the wild Zoroark.
While I was thinking about it, I looked up before noticing Nightmare had already fallen asleep in Yin's bed, part of it mostly because he was still exhausted from the energy he used up during his battle with the female Zoroark, back at Prelude Beach during that night.
Few minutes went by, and I decided that I had to do something.
Getting up, I grabbed a piece of paper and something to write down on before I left my brother a note, letting him know what the professor said, and that I'll be at the Obsidian Fields for a little bit.
"Hopefully, this'll buy me enough time to look for Yin and the wild Zoroark from earlier." I thought as I setted the note down to where Nightmare will easily see it when he wakes up.
Then I disguised myself as Yin, and borrowed the flute she has, before heading to the gates and letting the security corps guard know where I'll be going.
"Safe travels, Luna." He says as he looked at me.
After that, I was out of the village and in the Obsidian Fields.
First place I decided to look at, was where Yin found and caught the cute, mythical pokémon of gratitude, Shaymin.
Floaro Garden, I think it's called.
Something like that.
Unfortunately, her or the Zoroark was not there.
"Okay...Let's try Windswept Run." I said to myself before searching there next.
Getting no luck, I went to Ranmas Island in hopes I'd find at least one of them there.
Still no luck.
"Ugh...Where could Yin or the Zoroark be? They gotta be around here somewhere, even though Obsidian Fields isn't naturally a Zorua or Zoroark's habitat." I said to myself as I sighed a little.
"Need some help, Luna?" I heard someone say, making me turn around in surprise, only to see the diamond clan warden of Braviary standing a few feet away from me.
"Sabi! What are you doing here?" I asked.
"My clairvoyance showed me what happened at the village during the night earlier a few days ago, along with your search for Yin and the wild Zoroark." She explained while walking over to me.
"If you're mostly looking for the Zoroark, I spotted her somewhere around the Grandtree Arena, where the pearl clan's warden for Kleavor, Lian, is."
"Good to know. Thanks, Sabi! " I say before pulling Yin's flute out.
"No problem! I'll tag along with you until we find out what's going on. Been a while since I had a fun chase." Sabi mentions.
In response, I smiled before playing the flute the exact same way Yin did, calling out for the Wyrdeer.
For a bit, I waited after putting the flute away, until the Wyrdeer came.
Getting on, I looked at Sabi, seeing that she was already in the air with her Braviary.
"I'll go on ahead and explain the situation to Lian while I wait for you there!" She says.
"Okay!" I called out to her.
Then Sabi took off towards the Grandtree Arena.
"Let's hurry and follow after her, Wyrdeer!" I say as I looked at him before we took off as well.

Once we made it to the Grandtree Arena, I got off and went to Lian and Sabi.
"Glad you showed up, Luna." Lian says as he turned to look at me when I approached him. "Things have gotten a little strange and chaotic, before Sabi came and told me what happened at the village.
We've also already informed Adaman and Irida about the situation, so, they'll be willing to help you out too with your search."
"Thank you both so much for this. I will definitely need all the help I can get to find Yin or the wild Zoroark.
Now, what did you mean when you mentioned that things have gotten strange and chaotic, Lian?" I replied before asking as I turned to face him.
"Ever since the incident that recently happened in Jubilife, a lot of pokémon have been extremely terrified. I didn't know why, until I found out some of the wild Bidoof had been massacred." Lian explained.
"I've already asked Kleavor if he had anything to do with the Bidoof massacre, but he said he didn't, mentioning that he hardly ever leaves his spot.
And when I left and came back to show to Irida, all of the dead Bidoofs were gone without a trace. The only thing left behind and was still there, were large puddles of blood."
"What the hell?" I went in disbelief. "That's freaking creepy..."
"You're telling me. Pokémon suddenly disappearing without a trace after getting killed is some really shady stuff." He replied before shaking his head and showing us the spot where he spotted the massacre.
"Even though the blood is all dried up in the ground, it's still enough where you can see and smell it from a distance."
"This sounds like something a ghost type pokémon would do..." I thought to myself, obviously feeling a bit more creeped out now, at the sight of dried puddles of blood that were on the ground.
"Just now, my clairvoyance showed me that the Zoroark you're looking for is behind the Bidoof massacre." Sabi mentions as she looked at me.
Even though I was disguised as Yin and am normally a Zorua, I felt my face turn pale a little at that.
"But, why? Why go on a massacre towards an innocent, low level Bidoof? They're mostly docile and wouldn't even try hurting us or other pokémon." I asked.
"I get that Bidoofs and Bibarels can be really annoying sometimes, but, this doesn't make any sense."
