Yin POV 🌺

After I returned to the village, recovered from my sprained ankle, and reported to Kamado the status on the mission in quelling the final noble in Hisui region, he dismissed me and told me to eat up and rest for tomorrow.

At the same time before reporting back to him, I showed my updated progress to Cyllene and was ranked up to the Sixth Star in the Survey Corps team, allowing me to catch pokémon in the higher level a bit.

Nodding in response, I left and joined Professor Laventon and Rei at the dinner table.

Once we had our fill and turned in for the night, I went to my sleeping quarters and took off my footwear before lying down in my futon and staring at the ceiling, thinking about the hisuian Zorua and Zoroark that I met in the Icelands earlier today.

Eventually, I rolled over on my side and tried to get some rest.

Hours went by and I didn't fall asleep.

Sighing heavily a little in frustration, I got up and changed into my clothes before putting my footwear on and stepping out of my sleeping quarters.

Looking around, seeing the security corps were out and patrolling the village, I went over to Prelude Beach and sat down on the wooden pier that people from different regions board into, as I stared out into the ocean, my mind still thinking about the hisuian Zorua and Zoroark I met.

"Ugh...Why am I still thinking about them?" I said to myself as I lied back and stared at the starry sky.

For a bit, I just continued staring at the sky in silence before getting back up and deciding to return to the village and exit out to the Icelands for a little bit, before returning back and getting some rest.

Unfortunately, when I went back to my sleeping quarters for a moment, I suddenly heard a loud "BA-KOOM!" noise from outside, making me head back out immediately to see what was going on.

When I did, I immediately noticed the sky turning red, becoming distorted as it did so.

At the same time, everyone else immediately woke up from the noise and left their homes to see what was going on too.

"What in the name of Sinnoh has happened to the sky?!" I heard one of the villagers say.

"I don't know! But, it's obviously a bad omen for all of us!" Another one responded, as the other villagers were either starting to feel distressed, confused, or some other emotion that's indescribable to say.

Among the confusion and fear of the villagers, I spotted Rei and the professor before coming over to them.

"This doesn't look good..." Rei went as he turned to look at me.

Then we headed in the building to discuss about what's going on.

"Some sort of dreadful energy seems to be pouring from the rift in space time...Now the entire sky has gone red!" The professor began as he looked at us.

At that moment, Cyllene came in the room and informed me that Kamado wanted to see me.

"You're to report to his office at once." She mentions.

While I followed her, I had a feeling that something was about to go down in a bad way, when I entered in the office, meeting up with him, Irida and Adaman.

When I came back out and told Rei and Laventon what happened, they were in shock and disbelief.

"You're to be...expelled? From the village?!" The professor says.

"Seriously?!" Rei added.

I nodded sadly in response as Cyllene stood behind and beside me.

"Orders are orders." She replies to them.

Feeling bitter, I had no choice but to accept this anyways, even though Rei, Laventon, Cyllene and I knew that I wasn't responsible for the lightning that struck the noble pokémon and caused them to go into a frenzy or the space-time rift in the sky.

Once I was led out of the village and taken to the fields camp, I went to Lian and Mai, asking for help, which was unfortunately declined because of their valid reasons.

Having no place to go, I left and stared at the sky as I stood in front of the waterfall of Obsidian.

Without even noticing or realizing, I suddenly felt tears running down to the sides of my face, indicating how sad and hurt I felt after what happened back at the village.

"I think I understand what the Miss Fortune sister and bandit leader, Charm, meant when she mentioned her hatred towards the Galaxy Team...

Just like how Clover and Coin said about the Diamond and Pearl clan as well." I thought to myself, before wiping the tears away from my face, with my sleeve.

Eventually, Volo came and saved the day for me, by taking me in and introducing me to a woman named Cogita.

After my situation was explained to her, she accepted me in, before mentioning there might be a solution to the problem that's currently going on right now, indicating the trials of the 3 pokémon lake guardians.

And those pokémon are Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit.

The first pokémon I decided on my first trial is Uxie, meaning it's at Lake Acuity in the Icelands of Hisui.

At the same time, since Adaman and Volo already went on ahead, it'd also give me an excuse and a chance to look for the hisuian Zorua and Zoroark that helped me earlier before all of this mess happened while I continue on my way to Lake Acuity.

For a bit, I couldn't find the spot where I fell and met Zorua and Zoroark until I finally did find it.

Taking out and looking over at the pokédex for a moment, I took out Zorua and Zoroark's favorite food from my bag and looked over at it for a moment to double check before putting them away.

"I don't know why, but, I really want to find them at this point..." I thought to myself as I carefully climbed down the cliff before reaching the ground.

Staring at the trees, I putted on my stealth spray before going in and beginning my search as I had packed up a bunch of smoke bombs with me as well.

Not wanting to divert attention towards me with my voice, I started silently calling out to Zorua and Zoroark, hoping to find them quickly before the stealth spray wears off and the smoke from the bomb disappears.

As I kept walking and looking around, I could understand why Zoroark told me to leave while I can.

There was a whole pack of Zoruas and Zoroarks. Especially the alpha ones too.

It was almost like an outbreak, even though it isn't.

Unfortunately, that'll only make my search harder, since there's so many of them here.

I can't even tell which ones male or female, since they all look the exact same.

Just when I was about to give up and leave, one of them suddenly noticed and hurried over to me, with Zorua following along with them, taking me out of the woods for safety, before we could get spotted by the pack.

"Girl, what are you doing here?!" Zoroark wrote in the snow, as it looked at me, while Zorua stood next to it.

"I wanted to see you again..." I answered. "I couldn't stop thinking about you and Zorua when I returned home."

"I can understand that, but, that was pretty reckless of you to enter in our territory using that bomb and that spray stuff of yours that you have on you." It wrote down next.

"How did you - ?!" I went in disbelief.

"I can smell the spray on you and the smoke as well. Fortunately, we are the only ones who can smell a human through the things you have on you. No one else in the pack can't. Not even an alpha can." Zoroark wrote down next, explaining.

"Oh..." I went.

"Never mind that though...You should head back. It's dangerous here for your kind." It continued.

"But, I have something for you and Zorua!" I could say really quickly as they were about to turn around and leave.

After hearing what I said, the both of them stopped before turning to look at me.

In response, I pulled out their favorite foods that all hisuian Zoruas and Zoroarks liked, before showing it to them.

"While I was gathering research on pokémon, I learned that these are yours and Zorua's favorite foods.

So, I gathered them all up and brought them here with me to give to you both, in return to show my gratitude in helping me." I said next as I looked at them directly by the eyes, showing seriousness and no sign of fear or hesitation.

"Were you that determined to do this?" Zoroark wrote down after coming back over to me.

I nodded my head in response before handing the food to it, to share with Zorua.

"Yes. Even if I had to risk it..." I answered.

Sighing a little through it's nostrils, Zoroark suddenly transformed into a human boy, that looks like he's around my age, before looking at me.

Surprisingly, he's a bit taller than me. Like around 6ft or something.

However, his appearance puts me in the mindset of something, only ghostly like instead.

"You fool...You do realize you'll get yourself killed if we get spotted by the others, right?" Zoroark says.

I nodded as I felt my heart beating a bit.

In my mind, Zoroark looked cute and handsome when transformed as a human.

"By the way, I never got to ask for yours and Zorua's name." I mentioned, wanting to know.

"My name is Nightmare and the Zorua's name is Luna...She's my little sister. And I'm her brother." He responded.

"I also have an older brother whose an alpha. His name is Phobos and he lives at Lake Acuity, protecting Uxie from anyone who dares to try breaking in the cave and doing any bad intentions."

"Lake Acuity? That's where I'm heading to!" I thought to myself.

"What about yours, since you asked for mine and my sister's name?" Nightmare asked.

"My name is Yin." I answered, smiling a bit.
