   Kim walked as if she was being taken to slaughter. Amorpho walked as if he was the reaper taking her.

All in all they made a pretty good impression.

Kim peeked up from her low hanging bangs. Without the pin they fell low over her eyes. "Left," she muttered.

Amorpho turned as if he knew the way himself. Over the Fenton phones Jack repeated the word to the other humans and they stored it in their minds.

They passed a guard on duty. "Hey Jim," Amorpho saluted.

"My name's Eston," the ghost grumbled. "Where are you taking that human?"

Amorpho shrugged. "Big man wants a talk with her."

Eston raised an eyebrow but they had left without a word.

Kim turned her head to look at him. "Stop talking to the guards. You'll get us caught."

Amorpho smirked. "Hey he's a guard I'm a guard. We guards do these things, you know. Talk. You're not a guard. You wouldn't understand."

Kim grumbled. "Straight."

They passed by cells with prisoners and guards. Some leered at her. Others ogled her curiously, having never seen a real life human before.

Kim was sweating from the attention. She was used to staying out of sight. She didn't like this one bit. She was too distracted to notice they were going the wrong way. "Wait no. Turn back. It's right here."

Amorpho grumbled as they turned around and walked back.

A prisoner laughed. "Lost in your own prison, scout?"

Amorpho ground his teeth as he went right. "A little heads up next time, Miss."

"Sorry. We're almost there."

Soon enough they approached a door. They stood silently for a second.

"So how do we do this." Kim was uncertain.

Amorpho shrugged. "I thought you fuzzywuzzies had it all planned out."

Kim turned to her Fenton phones. "Do we have a plan to take the remote?"

There was silence on the other side. "Guys?"

"Uuuh."

"Just go in and improvise," Kim heard Chelsea say. She sighed. "Fine but if I get caught and spent the rest of my afterlife in ghost prison I'm blaming you."

"Don't forget. The remote is in his shirt's pocket," Tucker reminded her.

She turned to Amorpho.

He grinned. "Ready for some action, Miss. Smartass?"

"Let's go, red belt."

He pushed the door open and they waltzed in.

To almost crash against another guard and human.

The guard looked back in shock. His prisoner, a tall human girl, gasped.

Walker frowned. "What is the meaning of this? Why is she here again?"

Amorpho stood at attention. "She was trying to escape and kept shouting, sir. I thought you might want to show her some respect."

Kim stared wide eyed at the blonde girl. Star, she remembered. Then she realized it was time for some acting.

She growled an whipped her head around. "LET ME GO. YOU IDIOTS." She was never very good at insulting.

She tried to jump at Fedora hat but Amorpho held her back. The bracelet, she thought.

Fedora hat frowned. "Don't bring her to me. I send her away for a reason. Take her back to the cell and don't disturb me."

Kim frowned. "No!" She looked around frantically. Her eyes found wide eyed Starlight. "Let us go!" Kim shouted. "What have we done wrong. Just give us the remote of the ship so we can leave."

Starlight raised an eyebrow.

Fedora hat snorted. "You have disobeyed the rules, child. And as such you will suffer the consequences." He leaned forward, taunting her.

She grabbed her chance and lunged forward. She faked an attack and they both fell on the ground.

Star smiled. She realized what was expected of her. She back kicked the guard behind her and jumped into the tangle of bodies. She hit Walker like only an angry human cheerleader can. Her guard ran forward to hold her back. The other one was strangely hesitant.

She was finally ripped away and Walker pushed Kim off himself.

The other guard rushed to grab her.

Walker was furious as he stood up and dusted himself off. "This is why I am keeping you in prison. You are a danger to civilization."

Star noticed something on the ground. She grabbed it quickly and hid it behind her back.

Kim was held up by her guard. "My apologies sir. I will take this pest back to her cell." And he started dragging Kim out. She struggled of course. Where's the remote. She had been able to grab it but it had fallen out of her hands.

They passed close to Starlight. The blonde subtly showed her her hand.

Kim sucked in breath as she saw what it was. She faked struggle and managed to get close enough to the girl to snatch the remote from her hands.

Walker had no idea as the ghost disguised as a guard led away the soon to be leader of a revolution out with the means to escape.

The door closed behind them. They walked for a second. Not saying anything.

Then Kim heard crackle on the other side. She heard faint voices.

"I think we can talk now."

"What if they're still in there and Walker is listening?"

Kim smiled. "Then we would have been discovered a long time ago thanks to you guys."

Jack was excited. "So? Did you get it?"

Amorpho chuckled as Kim smirked. "We did."

20 minutes before

Sam groaned as Tucker was being led away for interrogation.

Why did he leave me here with these crazy people.

She banged her head on the wall. "We have to come up with a plan fast. Who knows how much time we have left."

Jack furrowed his eyebrows in a way that reminded her of Danny. "What will happen to him if he spends too much time in the ship?"

Sam turned to him exasperated. "I don't know. You're the scientist. You're the one that made those...things. Along with every other deadly ghost weapon that did nothing but mess Danny's life up!!" That hit a nerve. She hadn't meant to but her two boys were gone. Both in danger and she was stuck here with these idiots and no way out. It is safe to say Sam was not having a great field trip.

Jack stood surprised, but not for long. He ran a hand through his graying hair. "I- I didn't know the extent of ectoplasm in his blood. We thought it was just a trickle. None of this should be happening."

Sam's eyes widened. "You mean you knew?!" She glared. "You knew he had ectoplasm in his blood and still you put ecto sucking filters in the ship?????"

Jack shook his head. "No! No. It was. We thought. It would only filter bare ectoplasm. It wasn't supposed to rip it from inside his body. If we had known..." He stopped.

Maddie stood on shock as she heard all this. She couldn't move.

Jack ground his teeth and rushed forward to crash against the bars.

The resulting bang startled everyone out of their stupor.

Jack punched the bars in frustration. "Open the door!! Let me see my son. I need to see him. Let him out!!"

The other humans watched in shock as the man angrily attacked the door. He made such a ruckus that a few guards came up.

They opened the door and yanked him out. Jack fought back. Trying to get out of their grips. "Take me to my son!!"

Maddie gasped as her husband was shot by antihuman guns. Again and again. Then they dragged him off.

The others stared as Jack Fenton was taken down the same hallway as the other doomed humans.

There was a brief silence.

Melissa whimpered. "We have to hurry. Who knows what's happening to Danny now."

James scowled. "Why are you always talking about Danny. What about the others that got taken. Like Kim."

"What is it with you an Kim all the time!!" Paulina shouted.

A full blown argument started.

Mr. Lancer decided enough was enough. He already had to put up with these kids in class and he wasn't about to put up with them for the rest of his life. "QUIET!!!!"

For the first time in his career there was instant silence. "If we want to get out of here we need to stop arguing and work on escaping." He turned to Maddie, who had propped herself up in a corner. "Mrs. Fenton. Have you found a way to get out yet?"

Maddie looked up uncomprehending. She hadn't been paying any attention. All she could think of was her husband and her baby. How could they not notice the real extent of the ectoplasm? They were ectoexperts!! How could they not see. "Mmh?" She looked up at Mr. Lancer.

"Do you have a plan to get us out?" Mr. Lancer repeated. The students around him looked at her expectantly.

She sighed. It's up to me now. She cleared her throat and stood up. "If we are going to escape we need to find a way to get rid of these bracelets. It will give us more time to sneak out of the cage but not enough to find the way out and escape. This is why we need to find a way to cause a distraction. We also need to know the way out of the building. We can't run around in circles. We'll be caught for sure."

Andrew frowned. "But what if the alarm goes off if something happened to the bracelets."

Maddie set to inspecting the device around her forearm. She grasped it and tried sliding it out but it was too tight. Fortunately not that tight that it cut off her blood flow.

The other students followed her example and soon they were all experimenting on ways to take the damned device off.

Maddie fiddled with it. It had many crevices and it was slightly discolored. As if the ghosts had been waiting a long time to put it on a human.

Andrew frowned as he moved his arm around. He mumbled under his breath. He was skinny. And all the bracelets were the same size, he guessed. So if I slide it around. Remember. Relax the muscles. There we go.

He flinched as the turning of the bracelet burned his skin but he felt it give. He smiled.

Sheldon grunted with the device. He cursed under his breath. He glanced at Andrew briefly to see how he was doing. He was surprised to see the device lower on the arm than before. He mimicked him. It worked! He grinned and turned to the others. "Hey guys look what Andrew here found out."

They all turned to him and he demonstrated. Soon everyone was burning their skin and grunting but it was working. For the most part.

The more..beefy...of the group were having problems.

"Dammit!" Dash smashed the thing against the wall.

Kwan huffed and pulled but nothing worked.

Valerie couldn't for the life of her get it off and she cursed her chubbiness for the first time in a long time.

Shes chubby ok.

Basically only a few got their bracelets off. Star, Paulina and Melissa included.

Maddie frowned at the distressed children. What could she do. She decided they shouldn't waste anymore time. "We can't spend too much time here-"

She was cut off by a guard.

"So. Did your jewelry fall off? Is it too big?" The guard by the door smirked. "We can fix that."

this is a pretty long chappie. It was kinda hard to rmember that jack was supposed to leave not log after tucker. But yeah i figured it out.
