Gotta go fast

Amorpho yelled to get the attention of the guards.

Kim mingled in with the others and tried to calm them down. "Trust me on this. Just stop fighting. There's a plan."

The others looked at her inquiringly. Sam frowned. She noticed Walker's red eyes. That was unusual. She approached Kim and whispered in her ear.

"Amorpho?"

The other widened her eyes, surprised that Sam knew of him. But then again. Tucker had recognized the ghost too. Kim nodded.

Sam smiled and reassured the others.

Walker scowled at the guards. "What do you think you're doing?"

The guards shuffled uncertainly.

One pointed at the humans. "They tried to escape, sir."

Walker waved his hand. "I can see that. Seems like this isn't enough security to hold them in. They must be relocated."

They nodded. "Where do we take them?"

Walker shook his head. "I will send a guard to escort them. You can leave."

There was a pause. A few moved to leave but the rest stayed put. "But they will escape," one guard said.

Walker nodded. "I will send a guard, as I said."

Still nothing happened. Walker got angry. "HAVE I NOT MADE MYSELF CLEAR?!"

They scattered in a hurry. No one wanted Walker angry at them. Amorpho smirked when the hallway emptied. He turned to the humans.

They were putting on the shoes they had thrown at the guards and were giving Walker wary looks.

Amorpho morphed into himself.

The humans gasped and Maddie stood ready to fight. Sam waved her hands.

"No. He's here to help... I think?"

Kim nodded as she stood next to the tall ghost. "We have come up with a plan." She smiled victoriously as she dug out the remote and held it up.

There was a short silence. Then the humans burst out and demanded answers.

Kim looked around. It was still empty but it wouldn't be long before the real Walker came charging up. "Guys. I will explain later. We have to leave now."

Sam frowned. "But where are Tucker and the others."

"They will meet us at the ship. Right now we have to leave before they come." She started running down the hallway. "Follow me."

Amorpho's body melted and reformed into a guard. He shooed the students forward and ran after them, as if he was trying to capture them.

Kim panted as the others followed her. James appeared next to her and she smiled at him.

He grinned back. "Kim! I'm so happy you're ok. How did you get here?"

Kim redirected her attention to where they were and made sure she didn't take a wrong turn. That would cost them precious time. "I'm happy to see you too, James, but we can't talk now."

"Right. You're too busy saving everyone...again."

Kim blushed.

Suddenly shouts were heard from behind them. New guards were coming. Kim picked up the pace. She looked up. 3A. Ugh, they weren't fast enough.

But she couldn't go any faster. She just hoped they could get there before...

No such luck.

A few guards appeared from a hallway next to her.

She heard Amorpho yell. "They're escaping!"

More guards. We need weapons, Kim thought. "Where are the antighost weapons!!"

The people running next to her looked confused and panicked. "I don't know!!"

The intended recipient for her shout nodded. Amorpho ran up to one of the ghosts. "Where are the humans' antighost guns."

The guard smirked. "Don't worry. They won't be able to get them. They're at 2D4. They will most likely just pass them. And even if they don't, they'll need this to get them." He pulled out a pin.

Amorpho snatched it from his hand and ran away. "THANK YOU."

He caught up to Kim and chucked her the pin. She thankfully didn't let it fall and looked at him in confusion. "What is this?"

"The key to the weapons. They're at 2D4. Although I have no idea where that is."

Kim nodded. "I know. We'll have to take the longer route though." 2F. She groaned. "Two more."

A ghost made a grab for her but she went intangible.

Maddie and Valerie kicked away some ghosts that were trying to get to them.

Finally they got to 2D. Kim made a sharp turn to the left. The others, though startled, quickly adjusted their course and were able to lose a few guards.

Kim followed the numbers as they passed cells.

The prisoners screamed and yelled to be let out. The humans were too busy with getting out themselves.

Suddenly Kim screeched to a halt. The others barreling behind her.

"It's here." She looked around in wild panic. She didn't know what she was looking for. A box? A door?

She looked back at the guards. She smiled when she saw the humans capable of fighting, fighting.

"Go find it!" Valerie grunted as she punched a guard. "We'll hold them off."

Kim nodded and ran up to a door. She looked down at the pin questionably. What was she supposed to do with this?

"Try holding it close to the keyhole," Andrew said as he appeared next to her.

She did but nothing happened. "Maybe this isn't the one." She moved on to a box pressed up against the wall. She couldn't open it either. The Chinese moved to another door but stopped when the pin beeped. The wall next to her suddenly moved.

Kim smiled and crouched down. She moved the pin across the wall and it beeped. A panel slid sideways and weapons spilled onto the floor. Kim grinned triumphantly. Andrew looked proud as they highfived.

Kim paused. Since when did she get along with Andrew?

She shook it off and stood up. "We have the weapons! Come get them!"

The humans looked back and grinned.

"Everyone grab as many as you can!" Maddie screamed. "We can't leave any!"

Soon every single human was covered in weapons. One in their hands and firing.

But it was too late. They were surrounded. Guards came from left and right.

"Over here!!" Nathan turned intangible and phased through the wall. The rest followed.

Amorpho paled as he pressed against the wall. "Hey fuzzywuzzies! Don't leave me here!!"

The guards closed in.

Suddenly a hand appeared and grabbed Amorpho. He was pulled through. He blinked to find himself in another hall.

Kim let go of Amorpho and looked at where they were. "This way!!" She said.

Maddie frowned. "Wait. Where is Richard."

Said boy appeared panting. "I'm here. Let's get out of here as soon as we can!!"

Nobody complained as they sprinted down the hall and through the walls.

Kim grinned. "We're almost the-"

She was cut off by an explosion. The ground trembled and the walls shook.

Then it stopped.

Valerie peered through the corner. "What in hell was that?"

Maddie spotted Richard grinning like a maniac. "Richard?"

Said boy whipped his head toward her.

"What did you do?"

Richard shuffled awkwardly. "I think that was...uhh. I'm not sure...ah. But I had some...some explosives in my pocket. They...uh...they're gone."

Maddie was shocked. "Where did you get explosives?!"

Richard scrunched his eyebrows. "Your husband called them Ectobooms?"

The ghost hunter scowled. "Jack gave you Ectobooms?" Richard nodded. "And you just set them off in the middle of the prison?!"

Mikey interrupted. "Can we talk about this later? We're kind of in a tight spot now."

Maddie took a deep breath. She nodded. "At least their attention will be directed elsewhere."

Richard took this as acceptance and grinned as he ran after the group.

Thankfully Richard's 'plan' worked and they made it to 1A without many interruptions.

They cheered as they entered a spacious room with a big door. Probably the only door big enough to let the Fenton Space Craft through. Which, by the way, stood right in front of them.

In all its busted glory. With Youngblood's anchor still attached on it. And many dents and scratches. Not to mention the broken window.

It was a sight for sore eyes.

The humans ran forward but were stopped by a growl.

There crouched Danny's pet, Leroy. He stood protectively in front of the ship. Growling, with horns curved and ready to jump at anyone who dared to approach.

And it seemed like many had dared. Some guards lay unconscious and others cringed with pain on the ground. Now that they thought about it. There weren't many ghosts here.

Sam looked back at the empty hallway. It wouldn't be empty for long. She glanced at Leroy and bit her lip. "Ok. Here goes nothing." She approached the monster with arms outstretched. "Hey, Leroy. It's ok boy. We won't harm Danny. We'll take him away from those bad guys." She pointed at the unconscious guards.

Leroy followed her finger but kept growling.

Sam took a step forward. "Danny is in there, right?"

Leroy whimpered and Sam nodded. "Yes. You did a great job protecting him but you can't get close, can you?" Leroy's horns shortened. "We'll help him. Just let us get close ok?"

Leroy calmed down and stopped threatening them. The students passed him cautiously.

Mikey tried to slide the door but it didn't budge. They turned to Kim as one and for once she didn't mind the attention.

She brought out the remote and was about to push it when someone came running up.

The humans jumped, ready to fight. But it was Tucker. Jack and Chelsea not far behind. They panted and were covered in scratches.

Chelsea grinned as she waved the green stick that the others didn't recognize as one of their own weapons. "Told ya stealing the ghosts' weapons would work."

Paulina paled. "But where's Star!"

"I assume you are talking about this human girl."

The humans turned as one to see Walker hold Star by the arm. "Am I right?"

Leroy growled at them. The humans gasped.

"Let her go." Maddie took a step forward but Walker tightened his grip. Star yelped.

"Why," Walker mused. "So you can run off with the ship and the boy and escape? I don't think so. You will all go back to your cells and-"

Suddenly Star ripped her arm away from Walker. He growled as she started to run away.

The others cheered as she came closer but a bang interrupted them.

Next thing they knew Star was on the ground. Walker stood behind her, arm outstretched and holding a smoking gun.

"Star?" Paulina trembled as the blonde didn't move.

Walker huffed. "I warned you."

Suddenly there was a shout.

A Latina barreled forward and kicked the warden in the face. He let the gun fall in shock but recovered quickly. He swung his fist but she ducked and sprung up behind him. Paulina backflipped and shoved Walker away with her two feet.

The other humans stood in shock as the Latina beat Walker up cheerleader style. They had never seen her so furious.

Star groaned from where she lay on the ground.

Kwan quickly ran up to her and picked her up. "Star? You ok?" He took her back to the others.

The blonde blinked and raised a hand to her head. She moaned.

Kim beeped open the ship and they entered.

Sam crouched in front of Leroy. "Just follow us from a distance ok, boy? You'll get to see Danny soon." Then the goth turned to Paulina. "Paulina. Let's go. Star is safe inside. She's waking up."

The Latina stopped mid-punch. "She is? Oh gracias a Dios." She dropped Walker and started running towards the ship. Then stopped as she spotted something. She screeched. "My shoe is ruine!"

Sam rolled her eyes. "She was just starting to gain some respect for the Latina. "Let's go girl. You can worry about that later." She pushed the girl into the ship and the door closed behind them.

Walker watched as the ship hummed to life. "GET THEM!!!" he yelled. But nobody made a move as the machine started flying.

It picked up speed and barreled into the closed door, breaking it and leaving a gaping hole behind.

A hole through which Leroy jumped out followed by Amorpho, who turned into an eagle to be able to fly and escape.

Walker yelled in frustration as he struggled to stand up.

A guard chuckled and the warden turned to him. "What. Is. So. Funny."

The ghost didn't stop. "Did- did a little human girl just beat you up?" he burst out laughing. Others soon joined in, somehow finding all of this very entertaining.

Walker trembled in anger. "GO BACK TO YOUR POSTS. YOU WILL ALL BE SERVING MANY DECADES OF SENTENCE IN THE CELLS."

The guards scurried out of the big room, trying to contain their laughter. They had endured many punishments from the prison warden, but something this funny needed to be told and retold.

Walker knew he would be the laughingstock of the Ghost Zone for many years to come thanks to the new story of how a bunch of humans had escaped his oh so fortified prison and a little girl had beat him to a pulp.
